There is a profound difference between what God has planned for our lives and what others attempt to impose upon us through fear, manipulation, and control. Sometimes we spend years fighting to preserve relationships, careers, and circumstances that cost us our peace. Eventually, we learn that loyalty should never require abandoning our dignity, and success means very little without integrity.

One of the greatest gifts of maturity is recognizing the difference between people who want to grow alongside us and those who need to control us. True strength is found in humility, accountability, mutual respect, and the ability to celebrate one another without competition. There is tremendous freedom in surrounding ourselves with people who operate from love and abundance rather than fear and scarcity.

I’m incredibly grateful for my brothers in WITH A VENGEANCE. After decades of different bands, personal struggles, recovery, and growth, we’ve become witnesses to each other’s transformation. We can speak openly, support one another without judgment, and genuinely enjoy making music together. Thank you to every fan sharing this new chapter with us.

Perhaps the greatest lesson is that we cannot change others, only take responsibility for ourselves. We can forgive without accepting mistreatment, love without sacrificing our boundaries, and move forward without resentment. Sometimes God’s greatest blessing isn’t changing our circumstances, but changing us enough to recognize where we truly belong. Grateful for this brotherhood, this music, and the freedom to begin again. God is good. 🙏

Thank you guys so much for bearing with me tonight. After playing an outdoor show Friday night in 35-degree weather, my voice was definitely feeling the effects, and I struggled a bit getting through the beginning of our set.

Thankfully, we got warmed up, found our groove, and pushed through! I know my vocals weren’t up to my usual standards tonight, but you guys showed us nothing but love, patience, and incredible energy. I can’t tell you how much that means to me.

We had such an amazing time with you all. Thank you for allowing us to get up there, do what we love, and give you the best show we could under the circumstances. I’m genuinely grateful for every single person who came out tonight.

This one is really special to me. I’ve been a huge fan of 40 BELOW SUMMER since I was a teenager growing up in the New York hardcore and metal scene. I actually cut my teeth opening shows for these guys early in my career, so getting to share the stage with these Tri-State nu-metal legends all these years later is a full-circle moment and a real honor.

My brother Chris Cain and I have reunited with our new band WITH A VENGEANCE, and we’ll be co-headlining with 40 BELOW SUMMER for one night only at the legendary WEBSTER THEATER!
