This weekend was a rollercoaster of emotions.
Obviously we all felt it. The potential of a new bear. The idea that maybe this was it.

But for me, it went deeper.
It wasn’t just the market.

It was watching my dream, something I’ve spent years building, start to crack.

How many nights have I stayed up, wondering what happens if it all collapses?
What if no one shows up?
What if the market tanks, and it takes my work with it?

This is the curse of this space.
As an artist, I have nothing to do with wars, inflation, interest rates, or any of the macro noise.
But my work still sits next to it.
Right there, on the same screen. In the same red.

It’s art, but it trades like a stock.
And no matter how different it is...
Red is still red.

And that’s been my biggest battle.
Because deep down I know:
It doesn’t matter how good the art is.
Doesn’t matter how much I’ve planned.
Doesn’t matter how strong the community is.

If the tide goes out, I go with it.

So yeah.
Friday night was amazing.
My first solo gallery show. A dream, finally real.
And then within 24 hours, it felt like the whole world started falling apart.

Delay.
Lower your price.
Wait it out.
Silence.

All of it felt like a wave crashing down, and I’m standing there, carrying water to the sea.
No wind in my sails.

But it’s Monday now.
And the sun once again rises above the horizon.
And I’m still here.
Still building. Still grinding.

Because if I go down, it won’t be because I gave up.

I’d rather give it everything, and fail.
Than half ass it and wonder what could’ve been.

My art deserves to be seen.
And I’m not gonna compromise on it.
Because I know what I’ve made.
And I know most of you do too.

This shit is different.
And deep down, you feel that too.

So yeah.
Fuck the market.
We’ve cooked this one to perfection.
