Why is it people think its ok to constantly try to get introverts out of their comfort zone - but no one is ever trying to get extroverts to shut the fuck up for a little while?
🤔
I’ll die on these retro hills:
1. Pizza Hut was better when it had red cups and stained-glass lamps.
2. Renting a movie was more fun than scrolling through 5,000 choices.
3. Toys were better when they weren’t connected to Wi-Fi.
Who's with me?
@GrowingUpRetro This is the absolute truth. Overrated garbage. Now let’s do U2. I just will never understand what people are hearing that I’m not. It’s so overrated. It’s just not good.
@NHLFlyers Too early to fire Tocchet? Because, we should fire Rick Tocchet. Like, quickly. This team is unprepared to play professional hockey and that lands squarely on Tocchet.
To be fair to me, I’ve been calling for his firing since the day he was hired, so it’s not just the one game, but, to have your team show up on the ice and shut the bed that hard, I mean, is there another conclusion one could come to other than, you didn’t prepare your team. Like, the proof is in the pudding here. Nobody could make the argument at 7-0 it was just dumb bad luck. The team wasn’t ready, and that is the coach’s primary (and for game one, really his only) job and he failed epically. I e been watching this team since the 80’s and I’ve actually never seen a more hopeless, heartless, disappointing opening in all those decades. Rick Tocchet failed on an astonishing scale tonight. I don’t think he is right for the job - I have never thought he was right for the job.
