Clapton didn’t take the AstraZeneca shot to make a point. He took it as a father. He said he didn’t want to drop dead on his kids. He didn’t want them to lose him. They said it was the ONLY way he could go on tour and play his beloved music.

A man who has spent his whole life speaking through six strings suddenly couldn’t touch a guitar without agony.

The mild pain he already carried from peripheral neuropathy leapt from a 1 to a 10. He couldn’t touch anything hot or cold without gloves. Vaccine induced autoimmune disease had set in permanently.

He said he should never have gone near the needle and was cancelled by all major media and music outlets for uttering those words.

When he told the truth, they didn’t ask if he was all right. They didn’t sit with the image of a 76-year-old musician staring at his own hands, wondering if the music was gone. They condemned him for being honest.

He felt alone. Friends went quiet. The phone stopped ringing.

That is the part that should stay with you. Not the argument. The man. The father. The hands.

If we can look at that and still care more about the slogan than the person, we have lost something that we will NEVER get back.

This is a really interesting exchange with a Muslim Manhattan traffic officer.
The citizen asks him why he’s not ticketing cars, and bikes, and the officer says to him because they don’t have a plate on them. so the Muslim population knows that they can park anywhere they want blocking buildings and walkways and not get a ticket as long as they take their plate with them.
Oh, and the best part is as he’s walking away from the reporter he says I can’t talk about this anymore. I have prayer time.🫤
This may seem like a small thing, but this is a microcosm of exactly what’s going on!
