Thanks to @twrcollectibles for trading this mystery train! It was a Thomas but the face is gone (the package was sent to someone else 1st, they must've stolen it, how dare they๐ jk). The chassis is 94 but there's also only 4 wheels and they're black. I guess it's more unique now!
@Ryansmash@FlyingScotFilms@TWR_Guy5 Yeah this is the second 1993 boxed one with a label I've seen, very hard to come across. Its rarer than the German boxed one, but is a close tie with this boxed 96/97 one I've seen about twice.
@twrcollectibles @Thomasthesmall1 @TheStarSwitcher Yeah I believe in 1992-1993, some would have a whiter face and others more gray. There were also 2 types of round magnets used on the troublesome brakevan, one small as well as a larger one. You can check out the photos I've attached for reference.
@domeless_engine I reckon it's because they saw this listing and they were like "that's what I have" so they copied not only the title but listed it for the same price.
@domeless_engine You can use the German eBay, and although there might not be a high chance of finding one there at this moment, I have seen at least one listed there before.
Hi all, I just wanted to share some new information. I recently tweeted that there was only one known 1992 Donald in the green box. Well, I was informed by @kenn6996 that there is another one. Here's an image. Keep an eye out because I'll be tweeting about other rare TWR items!๐
@JayDoesArt17 @otwrc Is this what you're looking for? (they're in the bottom right corner of the picture - kinda funny how I had to mention where they were located because of the size of this collection)
A cardboard box magically appeared at my front door and had some wooden trains inside... I felt like this trade with @twrcollectibles was definitely in my favour, but I did have to say goodbye to a couple extremely rare items I had owned.
