It's been one year ago that Tony Ganios passed away. (Died 2/18/24). The Ganios family wants his fans to know that Tony was a loving family man that was very private but proud of his fitness and health he built throughout his life.
Ken knew that Shirley was a good match since she was a "sweet Italian girl from the Bronx", who was also an ancient history buff like Tony was! The best thing that made Tony want to marry Shirley, was how shy she was and how she didn't want Hollywood fame.
#funfacts: It was Tony's best friend, KEN WAHL, that introduced Shirley Ganios in 1990 to Tony through his good pals Uncle Pete and Uncle Ralphy, two cops that had worked on Ken's movie, "Fort Apache The Bronx".
(Left and upper right). Shirley Ganios was there until the day he died. Bottom right Tony poses with his little sister, Trinity Anne Ganios. Fans can go to Tony Ganios and Anthony Ganios official pages run by his wife, Shirley Ganios and sister, Trinity Anne Ganios.
The family continues to ask his fans to respect his request of privacy and to ignore those who fraudulently exploit his name (and false information), in order to gain fame and fortune. Below is Tony with the love of his life, Shirley Ganios, wife (widow) of 32 yrs,
and therefore Tony would never forget this date!
Please join The Wanderers 1979 in wishing Shirley Ganios a very happy birthday and what would of been Tony and Shirley's 33rd year in marriage!
