@kylenabecker I'm sure it's a visually great film. Nolan's talent in film making, with a large budget to support the best special effects. I'm sure it's the most beautiful propaganda piece to date.

@shipsekki @DrKarlynB Woke as in some folks, regardless of how minor in the Odyssey itself, are notable in the Iliad - Helen most obviously. Greek characters played by actors that cannot even pretend to be Greek.

There's going to be a lot of folks see it, because it's a Nolan film and understandably so. But I don't think it'll profit. Bookmark mark this claim and let's see together

@0xnoLE @kevinnbass If Nolan receives an academy award, good for him. He checked the boxes to gain the needed recognition from the small club of Hollywood. Box office results will show that does not reflect the same of the broader audience. People want accuracy with only modern cinematography.

If you want to go with that stance, fine- then ancient writings, myths, stories are even more important and critical to preserve accuracy in all aspects. And those that don't are disrespectful to its legacies.
