I am a freaking engineer and my bike’s derailleurs are giving me a run for my money… got my back gears shifting to all gears finally. But my front gears now won’t shift at all. 🙃🙃🙃

My congestion and cough disappeared while we were in Mexico but within days of getting back it came back and is just getting worse.

Many hours later my legs are starting to feel it. I wonder how my run will go tomorrow morning…

Since I started cycling and swimming a lot more my average step count has gone waaaaaaay down.

But I am so sad. He’s has been around 5 months. I have taken care of him. I have learned so much stuff on fish care. And I didn’t give him the best chance to survive his accident.

Yesterday I found my betta fish stuck in the filter. Only fins seemed damaged. I ran to get fish meds at the fish store. I changed his water. And didn’t realize I didn’t plug his heater back in. All day I checked on him and he was breathing and a little slow.

As a betta fish he needs tropical water temps to thrive. While I don’t think not having the heater on killed him it definitely didn’t help his body heal and could have caused some temperature shock.

I have tried so hard not to get sunburned on this trip to Mexico. I don’t think there is a way to use enough sun screen when my skin is used to the midwestern sun.
