We are the one stop shop for ALL things National Pastime in the Lone Star State!

Here’s a little of what we hope to do here at TSJ, looking forward to to helping further the greatness of what makes our state’s baseball scene so great! #TXBaseball

Happy to announce that my months-long quest to assemble every MLB Draft pick from every Texas HS/College is finally complete as of Monday!

Feel free to take a look at it until the MLB Draft Histories tab on the link below! https://t.co/6Qw930Sq5n #TXBaseball

As good as Whitley was over at Heights, @ChargerBSB won district while @SanMarcosHSBB had Hamilton doing his thing, all in 27-5A.

Forgot to add @MadMavBsbl had not one but TWO draftees in the form of the Gonzales duo as well.

Fun times in the 210 alright! #TXBaseball (2/2)

Worked on the 2017 Draft today but decided to make my #tbt about the year before that was my HS grad year in 2016.

Very stacked class led by Forrest Whitley of @ahmulesbaseball and Dustin May from @Txnbaseball… lots of reps from @AggieBaseball and @UHCougarBB too! #TXBaseball

[Texas Baseball Journal @TXBSBJournal]

On a personal level, 2016 was a banner year in my neck of the woods (SA) where Heights and @CTJbaseball got to state, @Brahma_Baseball had the Jung bros, and my crew at @ClemensBaseball ran the table in a tough 25-6A that had a @UniBaseball team with Miller/Westburg (1/2)

Final score from Target Field

Twins 6
@Rangers 4

Congratulations to the @astros for clinching the AL West!!! #ChaseTheFight #TXBaseball

[Texas Baseball Journal @TXBSBJournal]

Game 162.

All comes down to this.

Astros clinch the AL West with win or Rangers loss while the Rangers clinch with the inverse.

Let’s have ourselves a Sunday y’all, let the best team win!!! #ChaseTheFight #AllForTX #TXBaseball

[Texas Baseball Journal @TXBSBJournal]

@raknation @TrulyUli @TxStateBaseball Timing works wonderfully on my end as my main game will be long over by then so I’m down! 😎

[Texas Baseball Journal @TXBSBJournal]

As a San Mo resident i lowkey want to go to the game just to see what this is all about… i know @TxStateBaseball is about to have imo the most impressive mid-major setup soon so perhaps those renovations are part of the bigger athletic department plan perhaps… 👀 #TXBaseball

HISTORIC announcement about the future of @TxStateBobcats Athletics at the @TXSTATEFOOTBALL game on Saturday! In addition to great @txstatealumni support over the years, it’s so exciting to see industry leaders believe in what we are doing at @txst! Let’s go!🐾⭐️⚡️

[Texas Baseball Journal @TXBSBJournal]

@JoshTooJolly Interestingly enough, part of our long term plan here at TBJ is to eventually be a recruiting hub for Texas-based baseball players to directly connect with in-state college coaches… at a FAR lower cost (if even that).

History. Updates. Connections. What more could one want! 😎

@LTCavBaseball alum doing big things back in his home state! #TXBaseball

[FOX Sports: MLB @MLBONFOX]

That loud cheer you just heard probably came from Houston! Brett Baty GRAND SLAM in Arlington!

[Texas Baseball Journal @TXBSBJournal]

High School wise, lots of early representation in this timeframe from @cyfallsbaseball, @Rockhardball, and @FMJagsHardball from this time… to think the Golden Eagles in particular had not one but TWO arms in the top 15 in the same year, crazy stuff! #TXBaseball

[Texas Baseball Journal @TXBSBJournal]

As i just finished the 2006 Draft on the sheet, it feels like a good time to drop a #FlashbackFriday to a dominating four year draft period.

2002-05 were some great times highlighted by @TexasBaseball’s two natties and @RiceBaseball’s three aces pacing them in ‘03! #TXBaseball

[Texas Baseball Journal @TXBSBJournal]

Rangers have the Red Sox, Blue Jays, and Mets at home while ending the season in Minnesota.

Astros have the Royals and Braves at home and finish the season with a road trip out west in Seattle and Sacramento. #ChaseTheFight #AllForTX #TXBaseball

[Texas Baseball Journal @TXBSBJournal]

12 games remaining in the MLB season and the @Rangers are only a game back of the @astros for the AL West lead.

Who do y’all have taking the cake as the season winds down??? #ChaseTheFight #AllForTX #TXBaseball

[Texas Baseball Journal @TXBSBJournal]

Been spending the last month or two working on the all time MLB draft picks from Texas page and I’ve finally made it to the 21st century as of today.

Might show off a few of those years in the days to come so stay tuned y’all!!! #TXBaseball

[Texas Baseball Journal @TXBSBJournal]

As someone who idolized the @CanyonCougarBB/@RiceBaseball/@astros/@Rangers legend growing up, i can confirm this and then some.

Long live the Big Puma!!!

[MLB Hall of Pretty Good @hallofgoodpod]

He’s out of my jurisdiction, but does anyone else think it’s fairly surprising that Lance Berkman was a one-and-done guy on the Hall of Fame ballot? Fifteen seasons in the show with a .943 OPS is wildly impressive. He only received 1.2% of the vote in 2019, falling off the ballot immediately.

[Texas Baseball Journal @TXBSBJournal]

SEC schedules are out and it looks like we got @AggieBaseball vs @TexasBaseball at the Disch May 14th-16th!

Longhorns have Arkansas and Vanderbilt at the Disch, Aggies have LSU and Ole Miss at Olsen! #HookEm #GigEm #TXBaseball
