Can artists change the world?

People say art can’t change the world.

But after Michael Stewart was beaten to death by police in New York, one painting refused to let the world forget.

Jean-Michel Basquiat’s Defacement wasn’t just a painting.
It became evidence.
A memorial.
A protest.

The powerful often control headlines.

Artists control memory.

Long after politicians are forgotten, people still stand in front of a canvas and ask:
“What happened here?”

That’s why I believe the future won’t be shaped only by governments, corporations, or AI.

It will be shaped by artists who refuse to look away.

The world changes twice:
First through ideas.
Then through the people brave enough to give those ideas a form.

Artists don’t just reflect history.

They decide what history remembers.

Here is our red neighbor, Mars, rotating on its axis. This animation was created using images captured by Hubble.

We can clearly distinguish the large northern polar cap, white and brilliant, composed of water ice and frozen carbon dioxide. Dark regions like Syrtis Major contrast with the rest of the surface, while the characteristic reddish-orange hue, due to iron oxide, covers almost the entire planet.
