Texas State adds a commitment from Ellison Collins IV, a DB out of George Ranch HS (6A) in Richmond, TX.

Collins is a 6'3", 185 lb. three-star prospect in the '27 class. He held D1 offers from Army, Cornell and Dartmouth before choosing the Bobcats.

As a junior in 2025: 23 tackles (15 solo/8 assisted), 6 PBUs, 2 fumble recoveries. Also lined up on offense — 22 receptions for 557 yards and 7 TDs in 11 games.

Off the field: 4.0 GPA, 3x All-American, elite track athlete (6'6" HJ, 47'9" TJ).
