Two 6 year olds did the ‘3 Peaks in 3 Days’ in Aug 23 to raise money to build a classroom in The Gambia. A long way for these little legs but they SMASHED it.
Eeeeeeeek! The classroom is decorated!!! Looks AMAZING! Thank you to the students from Earls High School in Halesowen who have done this wondering job during their trip out there. Next stop… kids in!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Video 1/2 - The girls were delighted to receive this video from the Headteacher of St Peter’s School in The Gambia where their classroom is very nearly complete!
Another container full of clothes, Xmas shoeboxes, school resources and equipment, baby packs was loaded on Saturday morning and is being shipped to The Gambia. Thanks to everyone who braved the cold to help load the container & for all the fantastic donations we have received ❤️
Work on the new classroom at St Peter’s has now begun. We are hoping that by November it will be completed so that more children will be able to go to school. A big thank you to Ffion and Tiegan whose amazing £4395 fundraising has made this happen! @T_Fi_Three_P
The girls were delighted to meet with Bev from @rhsgambia Project Gambia on Friday to formally hand over their funds. The grand total of £4395 (plus gift aid!) has been raised. A huge thank you once again for every penny of support!
This afternoon our Foundation fundraising superstars Ffion & Tiegan met to officially hand over the money raised from their Three Peaks Challenge to Bev from @rhsgambia
Both girls are an inspiration & truly embody the King’s Worcester’s values. Well done girls!

Quotes are in & contractors appointed - work to begin imminently. Build will be complete by Xmas, decorated in spring, and welcoming its children around Easter. The funds raised will cover the build, decorating, & some equipment. The Gambian government will fund a teacher.
Delighted to tell you that Tiegan & Ffion’s classroom will be built on the site of St Peter’s Nursery School in a place called Lamin ❤️ It has a waiting list of 65 kids but the new classroom will reduce this by 2/3rds, allowing 45 more children to access an education ❤️
Wow, wow, wow! A huge congratulations to these amazing superstars who have completed the Three Peaks Challenge and raised over £4000 for Project Gambia. What an achievement! We are so proud of you and you are a real inspiration to others. 💛 @T_Fi_Three_P
