After eight seasons with two NFL teams, I'm excited for what's next at Meta. Grateful for seven seasons with the 49ers and a lifetime of memories. #ForeverFaithful
.@arikarmstead wanted to help his hometown of Sacramento; so he started a free football camp.

It was a blessing for my foundation and I to giveback to the families of @bgclubsv. Grateful for the opportunity to serve and bring thanksgiving to you all!
Arik is the 49ers first two-time winner of the NFLPA Community MVP award. One of the most dedicated, consistent, and generous advocates that I've had the honor to work with.
Let’s give it #UP for our Week 4 #CommunityMVP@arikarmstead. The @49ers D-lineman invested $250K and partnered with @mercyhousing to open Armstead Academy, an after-school academic enrichment program for K-12 students in his hometown of Sacramento: https://t.co/drH63b0Xz3.
Sacramento native and 49ers player Arik Armstead spent today giving back to the community. He contributed $250,000 to Mercy Housing California. This will provide various academic resources for youth in the community.
“What you do inside the stadium gives you a platform, but what you do with that is more important. It’s more impactful. Even if you’re fortunate enough to get your name up here, that will go away. How you impact ppl & how you help ppl will remain after you’re gone.”
Continuing our Once in a Lifetime series with @NBCSports, @ErinNBCNews speaks with @49ers stars @fred_warner and @arikarmstead about their team working with a group called 100 Black Men of the Bay Area to improve the quality of life for young people through mentorship.
#49ers CB Emmanuel Moseley is giving back by partnering with Dick’s to take a group of kids from the Boys and Girls Club back-to-school shopping. The kids are SO giddy & excited about getting to pick out items. It’s absolutely heartwarming. @kron4news#NFLTwitter
Bay Area native @Jfeeva_2 donated $10,000 worth of gift cards to 100 Fairfield children so they could purchase holiday presents for themselves and their family. #49ersGiveBack
.@49ers & @49ersCommunity donated money and partnered up w/ Second Harvest Food Bank, Clover & Safeway to provide Thanksgiving meals to 700 families this holiday #ABC7Now#FTTB
In a typical year, 49ers players will volunteer as servers at Second Harvest Food Bank around Thanksgiving. This year, COVID rules prevented that. Team still donated food, turkeys purchased in part through donations from players. The biggest donation came from...Jimmy Garoppolo.
In response to a digital divide magnified by the pandemic, @arikarmstead also provided 350 Chromebooks, resources and one year of pre-paid Internet to students doing distance learning in his hometown of Sacramento.
Our Week 10 #CommunityMVP@arikarmstead recently hosted his 21st “Storytime With Arik Armstead,” a program that's impacted 440+ students across 15 school districts worldwide to lift their spirits while promoting literacy on Black history, courage & more: https://t.co/drH63b0Xz3.
While I may be the first woman in this office, I will not be the last—because every little girl watching tonight sees that this is a country of possibilities.
