@trudylynch64@PMDDHelper@SimonCatRiley I believe you. I guess that answers all my questions. Don’t take this the wrong way, but I sure am glad to me male so I don’t have to navigate this stuff. Anyone who wants to join our team is welcome. The more, the merrier!
@PMDDHelper@SimonCatRiley To clarify: Why is instance is so bad?
[Feminists: don’t call a MTF person who menstruates a woman.
Ok, we’ll call them “people who menstruate”
Feminists: ew, gross, just call them women!]
That’s how it looks to an outsider like myself. I want to be on the right side of this.
@PMDDHelper@SimonCatRiley I do see the difference with men though. I work with a FTM person and I include him in the collective “men.” But it doesn’t seem as physically threatening as a MTF person would be for women, I suppose.
@PMDDHelper@SimonCatRiley Did you read the article? It seems like saying “women” would have been misleading. My wife, for example, does not get a period, so the article is not about her. It’s literally about menstruation. I don’t understand why that word should offend anyone.
