@AlxndrMcCoin There definitely is a big issue with how long overtimes are. Lets hope riot gives judges a better framework to help them give warnings for slow play because that seems to be the issue right now.
Riot, please expand Riftbound RQ top cut. 2k players in Lille and not a single 11-2 made top 8. 20 10-3s also missed top 64. X-2 is a great record, and having to ID the last round to secure a bye because you know you can’t make top cut even if you win seems... avoidable.
@LumitysEchoes Probably just more swiss rounds and asymmetrical topcut seems like the best. But before then we should start tackling the overtime issue.
@Josh_Aesthetic That does sound like a solid format tbh. I never played a Pokemon TCG tourney before so I wouldn’t know. Does that format ever run into time issues, aka the event going until like 10+ pm on Saturday/Sunday?
@Skuamato The worst 11-2 placed 21st, so even with an asymmetrical cut of 16 people 5 would have still missed, so you do get a bit of both with this system. I lost round 3 and 10, so would‘ve most likely missed as well if I won last round instead of going for an ID.
@Skuamato That‘s definitely an option. I quite like pokemon‘s asymmetrical top cut as well. I believe it’s Top 8 + everyone with the same record as the 8th seed up to 16 make it and seed 9-16 have to play an additional round of topcut.

R1: ❌ LWW vs Viktor: Had a cool lethal line where I went left bf, readied mid combat, ready legend, played a guy, flash to base ready the other unit and push 1 by 1 to play around the active decree.

@Prismaticismism R13: ID so we both make top 64 and get our invite. We played for fun and had some crazy games tho. He found his 1 of vex both games and I missed on my 8 2 drops and 14 turn 2 units in game 1. Game 2 I have a good start and then proceed to draw all 6 counterspells.
