🔍 Excited to share our latest article in the British Journal of General Practice:
"Parental involvement in paediatric patient safety incidents in general practice"
We found that in nearly 77% of cases, parents took actions that helped mitigate harm, especially around medication, diagnosis, and admin processes. And over half of these parent actions helped to avoid or reduce harms from occurring.
For any GPs or trainees thinking about getting into academia, hopefully this episode will shed some light on how to go about it. Thank you for having me on @rcgp
