@jvickery55 @ClintRLamb No. The staff is smarter than that. You make all offers you need to make to keep certain players first, then you look at what’s left and try to go get portal guys with it. If a guy you tried to keep enters the draft, it frees up more money for you to make a push at other players.

There are so many little nuances to all of this that none of us know about.

As far as hearing an offer from a top 10 playoff team, a lot of kids don’t care about that any more. Just gettin drafted/makin money now.
