A lot of men go through heartbreak, betrayal, depression, and emotional pain in complete silence, a man can discover that his partner cheated on him and never tell a single friend because he fears the reactions that may follow, some worry they’ll be mocked, called weak, or told that they must have done something wrong for their partner to be unfaithful
Because of that fear, some men stay in broken relationships quietly, pretending everything is fine just to avoid the shame they think society will place on them, others leave, but when people ask why the relationship ended, they choose to hide the real reason because admitting they were hurt feels more difficult than carrying the pain alone.
From a young age, many men are taught that being a man means being emotionally unshakable, if they cry, they are told to “man up” If they open up about their struggles, some people dismiss them or question their masculinity, somehow, the idea that men should always be strong, never vulnerable, and never express pain has become normal.
Let’s come together as a society and take care of Men’s mental health. Shalom!
Letting your man lay his head on your chest/thighs while you rub his head is one of the highest forms of non sexual intimacy for men, everything just feels better at that point!
