On Wednesday we launched Hidden London – The City You Don’t See at HMP Pentonville with the @LDN_Museum . Created by men across the prison, it shares artwork and stories rarely heard. Grateful to all involved, especially the men who trusted us with their voices.

Last year, Mayor of London Sir Sadiq Khan said there was no "indication of […] grooming gangs" - of the type seen in Rotherham and other towns - operating in the capital https://t.co/MlWBiQhKns
🎓 The Princess Royal, as Chancellor of the University of London, conferred honorary degrees on five honorary graduates for distinguished achievements in their respective fields.
Recipients included Sir Terry Waite, co-founder of Hostage International, who was captured while seeking the release of hostages in Lebanon and spent almost five years in solitary confinement.
Also honoured were Susannah Schofield, who established the John Schofield Trust in memory of her husband, a journalist killed in action, along with Professor Sir Hilary Beckles, Kumar Mangalam Birla, and the Reverend Philip Goff.

Thank you to the Prison Officers from HMP Pentonville who visited today to speak to parents and #Year5. Your visit has had a positive impact on our lives. Pupils learnt how to keep safe as they grow up, and got to ask important questions. Thank you to parents who attended.
“The government clearly never wanted these two things to be put together.”
Labour has tried to play down the intersection of race and sexual predation because much of the grooming took place in Labour councils that did “nothing,” says @TrevorPTweets.
