@Drake best to worst:
1. Take Care
2. Nothing Was the Same
3. So Far Gone (Mixtape)
4. Views
5. If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late
6. Scorpion
7. More Life
8. Thank Me Later
9. Comeback Season
10. So Far Gone (EP)
11. What a Time to Be Alive
@GinoThree @Scollo_Sketches @CrookedIntriago 100% dude, Teflon Don is great, but to be honest, I’d put Deeper Than Rap, Rich Forever and Rather You Than Me all above it if I’m talking a best to worst
@GinoThree @Scollo_Sketches @CrookedIntriago Haha, his voice takes a minute to get used to but he’s got one of the best mixtape runs out there. Money in the Bank is prooobably the best to start with imo, but you can’t go wrong with almost any of em to be fair, Cold Corner 1 & 2 also 🔥
@Scollo_Sketches @GinoThree @CrookedIntriago 100%, 50’s resume is massive. Guy ended almost all his NY competition, capsized Ja’s career, co-found Game who has one of the best catalogues in gangsta rap, GRODT and Massacre are both classics, he’s one of the smartest business men in the game, found Banks, Yayo, Buck, etc.
@ThomasMorran @CrookedIntriago Jay-Z’s career was made by Biggie and Jaz-O. Big L was in the process of signing to Rocafella when he died. L would’ve been far more influential had he not been killed so early. One of the greatest of all time, but only had 2 bodies of work and 1 was posthumous
@ThomasMorran @CrookedIntriago Nah not nothing, but compared to Scarface/the rest of the list, not as much. Ghostface was at 18, L 32, Common 33, they’re high but not Scarface level
@Que1876@CrookedIntriago KRS was one of the first politically conscious rappers to be that big. Ice Cube to this day sites KRS as a major influence and Cube is 8 on the list. What I’m saying is it’s a grand-scheme sort of thing, it’s all things considered man
@Que1876@CrookedIntriago KRS One and The Boogie Down Productions were the first to make a career-ending diss song paving the way for songs like No Vaseline, Hit Em Up, Bitch in Yoo, etc. By All Means Necessary and Criminal Minded are classics.
@Que1876@CrookedIntriago That was what I said from the beginning, it’s based on numbers, rep, accolades etc. cause we can fight forever if we’re citing opinion. KRS and LL may not be as important right now, but all time, yeah man
@Que1876@CrookedIntriago Lmao, that’s a lot of responses to give you, man. My point is sales, Grammys, chart positions and all that. Like I said, reputation puts Scarface high but the recent music hasn’t been groundbreaking for a bit. It’s exceptional, it’s fuckin Scarface, but it doesn’t break records
@Que1876@CrookedIntriago I’m not talking about whose relevant RIGHT NOW, I’m talking about all time. Opinions can only get so involved before they interfere with facts and evidence. Like I said, it’s not about skill, it’s about importance
@CrookedIntriago Pay attention to “most important,” if we’re talking “best,” or “most skilled,” that’s a different list; Scarface, Black Thought, Mos Def, Doom, etc. There’s a loooot if guys that would replace these guys. I’m talking accolades, sales, chart-numbers, reputation, longevity, etc.
