Combo Babies is one of the first fighting games to feature guitar hero style combo trials! The idea was inspired by a video from @Bri4nF

noticeable in cards like Bug Wheel, Bug's most important card as it beats block on charge which is theoretically super powerful but the big deck balances it out. A big deck also inspires Bigger Equals Better and Heavy Fist Slam. Bug truly shows off that size equals strength
Bug's initial concept was pretty simple: A big monster grappler. Those mesh well since simply adding a grab to a normal deck is very natural and gives you a bigger deck which fits both ideas. Bug takes a lot of design inspiration from Street Fighter's Blanka which is very 1/2
His last notable trait, his super, works how it does to balance out doing massive damage. His cards make way for attacks to be played more than usual, which is super can harshly punish. His design has stood the test of time and his themes stay very strong and unique. 3/3
Syrus' character design started with him having 2 shield breakers, base set blocks were very powerful, beating able to beat them very easily let him stand up against the whole roster. His secondary gimmick, 13 comes in with it being a common number seen in table fighter 1/3
His whole kit plays into it, all his cards have 13 letters, all the numbers on his cards are 1 and 3, and all his speeds are 13. This naturally keeps his damage and speed very balanced for his mechanics, having solid damage but is slower than most of the cast 1+1/3
For Underground Gold coming out, this week will be used to celebrate that and take a closer look at the original Table Fighter Underground cast (Syrus, Bug, and Entro). They were the first characters not in the base roster and all have very interesting designs! Stay tuned 👊

@BasedlordWham You seem to be mistaken! Raizel is actually a hyper-aggressive character that shuts down even the strongest of defenses with insane damage output! Check her out in the Table Fighter client to learn more about her: https://t.co/AXTCS6g3ZY
One of Table Fighter's most important concepts is card types. There are 5 primary card types, but due to concepts like alternate characters, and gimmicks like Lorach's ritual and Kenplus' upgrade system, you could say there are 17 different card types!
