Dr. Ali bin Mohammed Tabouk, CEO of Salalah Free Zone, participated in the 2026 Brazil–Arab Countries Economic Forum in São Paulo, joining the session “Trade, Logistics, Corridors and Financial Resilience,” which explored stronger trade and logistics connectivity between Brazil, Arab countries, Africa and Asia.

With Brazil–Arab trade exceeding USD 31 billion in 2025, #SalalahFreeZone’s participation aimed to strengthen its presence in the Brazilian market, build strategic partnerships, and attract industrial and logistics investments.

Leveraging its strategic location and integration with the Port of Salalah, SFZ positions Salalah as a competitive gateway for Brazilian companies seeking efficient access to markets across the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

شارك الدكتور علي بن محمد تبوك، الرئيس التنفيذي للمنطقة الحرة بصلالة، في المنتدى الاقتصادي البرازيلي–الدول العربية 2026 في ساو باولو، ضمن جلسة «التجارة والخدمات اللوجستية والممرات والمرونة المالية»، التي جمعت نخبة من القيادات والخبراء لمناقشة مستقبل الممرات التجارية، وتعزيز الربط اللوجستي بين البرازيل والدول العربية وأفريقيا وآسيا، ودور الموانئ والمراكز اللوجستية في دعم مرونة سلاسل الإمداد العالمية.

وتأتي مشاركة #المنطقة_الحرة_بصلالة في ظل تنامي العلاقات التجارية بين البرازيل والأسواق العربية، حيث تجاوز حجم التبادل التجاري بين البرازيل والدول العربية 31 مليار دولار أمريكي خلال عام 2025، بما يعكس فرصًا متنامية لتطوير شراكات واستثمارات جديدة بين الجانبين.

ومن خلال مشاركتها في المنتدى، تسعى المنطقة الحرة بصلالة إلى تعزيز حضورها في السوق البرازيلي، وبناء شراكات مع الشركات والمستثمرين البرازيليين، واستقطاب استثمارات نوعية في القطاعات الصناعية واللوجستية، إلى جانب التعريف بصلالة كمنصة استراتيجية للشركات البرازيلية الراغبة في التوسع والوصول بكفاءة إلى أسواق الشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا وآسيا.
وتستند هذه الميزة إلى الموقع الاستراتيجي لصلالة على خطوط التجارة البحرية الدولية، والتكامل بين المنطقة الحرة وميناء صلالة، بما يوفر للشركات منصة متكاملة للإنتاج والتوزيع وإعادة التصدير والوصول إلى أسواق إقليمية وعالمية متعددة.

وقّعت #المنطقة_الحرة_بصلالة اتفاقية حق إنتفاع لإنشاء مجمع متكامل للأسمدة والكيماويات، باستثمار يبلغ نحو 105 ملايين دولار أمريكي، وعلى مساحة تتجاوز 116 ألف متر مربع.
ويستهدف المشروع إنتاج كبريتات البوتاسيوم (SOP) بطاقة 100 ألف طن سنويًا، وكربونات الكالسيوم الحبيبية (GCC) بطاقة 100 ألف طن سنويًا، إلى جانب مجموعة من المنتجات الكيميائية الأخرى، وتصدير منتجاته إلى أسواق دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي والهند ودول جنوب شرق آسيا وشرق أفريقيا.

وقال الدكتور علي تبوك، الرئيس التنفيذي للمنطقة الحرة بصلالة: «يمثل هذا المشروع خطوة مهمة في تعزيز مكانة المنطقة كوجهة للصناعات النوعية، ويدعم توجهنا نحو بناء سلاسل قيمة صناعية متكاملة وتطوير تجمع صناعي في قطاع الكيماويات والأسمدة، بما يعزز الصادرات وتنافسية سلطنة عُمان كمركز صناعي إقليمي».

#Salalah_Free_Zone signed a sub usufruct agreement to establish an integrated fertilizers and chemicals complex, with an investment of approximately USD 105 million on a land area exceeding 116,000 sqm.
The project will produce 100,000 tonnes per year of Sulphate of Potash (SOP) and 100,000 tonnes per year of Granular Calcium Carbonate (GCC), in addition to a range of other chemical products. Its products will be exported to markets across the GCC, India, Southeast Asia, and East Africa.
Dr. Ali Tabouk, CEO of Salalah Free Zone, said: “This project represents an important step in strengthening the Zone’s position as a destination for high-value industries. It supports our efforts to build integrated industrial value chains and develop a chemicals and fertilizers cluster, while enhancing exports and reinforcing the Sultanate of Oman’s competitiveness as a regional industrial hub.”

#SalalahFreeZone continues to attract high-quality industrial investments through the signing of a usufruct agreement by Dr. Ali bin Mohammed Tabouk, CEO of Salalah Free Zone, for the establishment of a state-of-the-art Masterbatch manufacturing plant.

Masterbatch is an essential raw material used in the plastics conversion industry. The facility will be designed to produce high-quality commodity and specialty masterbatches to meet the requirements of a wide range of plastic processing applications. The project will be developed on a land area of approximately 19,315 square meters.

The project is one of the beneficiaries of the Ladayn Initiative and is designed with an initial production capacity of 10,000 metric tons per annum, serving both domestic demand and export markets across Europe, the United States, South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.

The project will support the growth of downstream plastics manufacturing, strengthen non-oil exports, create greater value for the industrial sector, and contribute to the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.

تواصل #المنطقة_الحرة_بصلالة استقطاب الاستثمارات الصناعية النوعية، حيث وقّع الدكتور علي بن محمد تبوك، الرئيس التنفيذي، اتفاقية حق الانتفاع لإنشاء مصنع حديث لإنتاج الماسترباتش (Masterbatch)، وهي مادة خام أساسية تُستخدم في صناعة تحويل البلاستيك. وسيُصمَّم المصنع لإنتاج أنواع عالية الجودة من الماسترباتش السلعي والمتخصص، بما يلبي احتياجات مختلف تطبيقات معالجة البلاستيك، وذلك على مساحة تُقدّر بنحو 19,315 مترًا مربعًا.

ويُعد المشروع أحد المستفيدين من مبادرة لدائن، بطاقة إنتاجية أولية تبلغ 10,000 طن متري سنويًا، لتلبية احتياجات السوق المحلية، إلى جانب التصدير إلى أوروبا والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وجنوب آسيا والشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا.

وسيسهم المشروع في دعم نمو الصناعات التحويلية اللاحقة (Downstream) في قطاع الصناعات البلاستيكية، وتعزيز الصادرات غير النفطية، وخلق قيمة مضافة للاقتصاد الوطني، بما ينسجم مع مستهدفات رؤية عُمان 2040

As part of the joint efforts to enhance the investor experience and improve service quality, #SalalahFreeZone met with the Investor Experience Enhancement and Development Committee of the Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones to discuss initiatives and proposals aimed at improving the investor journey, enhancing service efficiency, and strengthening integration across Oman’s special economic zones and free zones.

The meeting forms part of the implementation of OPAZ’s decision to establish a Working Team for Enhancing and Developing the Beneficiary Journey, bringing together representatives from the special economic zones, and free zones, under OPAZ’s supervision. The team will lead improvement initiatives and coordinate efforts to deliver a more seamless and efficient investment experience, further strengthening Oman’s investment ecosystem in line with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.

#SalalahFreeZone has signed an investment agreement with Majan Petrochemical Industry (SFZ) LLC to establish an Ammonium Sulfate Fertilizer Production Plant, with an investment of USD 29 million on a 43.7-thousand-square-meter site.

The agreement was signed under the patronage of H.E. Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Chairman of the Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones (OPAZ). The agreement was signed on behalf of Salalah Free Zone by Dr. Ali bin Mohammed Tabook, Chief Executive Officer.

The project will support the agricultural sector by producing one of the world’s most widely used fertilizers, while strengthening the chemical manufacturing industry, increasing non-oil exports, and reinforcing Salalah’s position as a regional hub for industry and logistics, in line with the objectives of #OmanVision2040.

وقّعت #المنطقة_الحرة_بصلالة اتفاقية استثمارية مع شركة مجان للصناعات البتروكيماوية (SFZ) LLC لإنشاء مصنع لإنتاج سماد كبريتات الأمونيوم باستثمار يبلغ ٢٩ مليون دولار أمريكي على مساحة 43.7 ألف متر مربع.
حيث تم توقيع الاتفاقية تحت رعاية معالي قيس بن محمد اليوسف رئيس الهيئة العامة للمناطق الاقتصادية الخاصة والمناطق الحرة @omanopaz كما وقع عن المنطقة الحرة بصلالة الدكتور علي بن محمد تبوك,الرئيس التنفيذي.

سيسهم المشروع في دعم القطاع الزراعي من خلال إنتاج أحد أهم الأسمدة المستخدمة عالميًا، إلى جانب تعزيز الصناعات الكيميائية، وزيادة الصادرات غير النفطية،وترسيخ مكانة صلالة كمركز إقليمي للصناعة والخدمات اللوجستية، بما ينسجم مع مستهدفات #رؤية_عمان2040
