1/ Israel has effectively reclassified crocodiles as livestock to facilitate a plan to dig moats filled with crocodiles around prisons housing Palestinian detainees. It's a pet project of the far-right National Security Minister, Itamar Ben Gvir. ⬇️
"Fergie Chambers is in Aranjuez prison in solitary confinement because Spain has decided to be the arbiter of American political persecution in obeying their extradition order"
I've visited Turkish and Indian prisons and those could be some pretty bleak places depending on where you wind up but the thought of doing time in a US prison- especially in the south- deeply terrifies me. Like the conditions of mass incarceration in the US are *so bad*
The persecution of Neville Singham/Codepink/PSL by the DOJ were proscribed via recommendations offered to the Trump Administration by CIA asset Jackson Hinkle.
Show me one scene where the extra framing adds to it. all the narrative, artistic value is in that 16:9 section. “Oooh~ Helmet Bristles” is not worth the IMAX ticket price.
1. The video actually zoomed-in to make the widescreen version looks even smaller.
2. IMAX aspect ratio is all filler. Like an actual filmmaker understands that all the value in the footage has to be in that 16:9 section.
3. Look at your TV. Is it the same shape as 30 years go?

Capitalism is like a lobster, it has no set biological lifespan. it dies when its finally grows too much for its shell to contain.
“It does not make business sense to harm the local power or water supply.”
It makes perfect sense when you can just offload the problem to poor people.
Something to consider for the good people who do have legitimate concerns about their electricity and water in regards to data centers:
A data center has to be up 24/7. Margin of error is basically zero.
It does not make business sense to harm the local power or water supply.
Notice how this is the only “sport”on this whole map. And its for the “sport” that one of the fewest people play.
But because rich folk play it, it gets all that land.
This is a land use chart from Bloomberg in 2018. Estimates are data centers will use 900,000 acres by 2028.
That would be less than 4 of the individual squares here. So less than flowers.
Ummm… the Illiad and the Odyssey are improvised ancient greek poems recited by a drunk who said there was a wooden horse at troy.
They could make it a space helmet and i would not care.
