1. Morning crypto market check - Zurich
Zurich time: 05:46, Tuesday, 14 July 2026.
Crypto starts the morning softer again.
CoinMarketCap shows the global crypto market cap around USD 2.15 trillion, down about 1.02% over 24h. Total 24h volume is around USD 67.06 billion, while Bitcoin dominance is still high at around 58.23%.
So this is not panic, but it is clearly a defensive tape.
The simple read: BTC is holding above USD 62k, ETH is almost flat, but most large-cap risk is weaker. Macro pressure is back in the room.
2. Top 10 coins by CryptoMarketCap ranking
Bitcoin (BTC) - USD 62,483.41 | 24h: -0.56% | trend: holding above USD 62k, but momentum is weak.
Ethereum (ETH) - USD 1,781.54 | 24h: +0.06% | trend: basically flat, still supported by institutional ETH and L2 narratives.
Tether USD (USDT) - USD 1.00 | 24h: -0.02% | trend: stable, still the main liquidity rail.
BNB (BNB) - USD 569.43 | 24h: +0.18% | trend: slightly positive, still exchange- and regulation-sensitive.
USDC (USDC) - USD 1.00 | 24h: +0.03% | trend: stable, but USDC growth and competition remain in focus.
XRP (XRP) - USD 1.06 | 24h: -0.72% | trend: softer, despite tokenization and payments headlines.
Solana (SOL) - USD 74.98 | 24h: -1.12% | trend: weaker large-cap move, still a high-beta Layer 1 signal.
TRON (TRX) - USD 0.325 | 24h: -1.71% | trend: soft, but still important for stablecoin settlement flows.
Hyperliquid (HYPE) - USD 63.08 | 24h: -5.38% | trend: sharpest top-10 weakness, high-beta cooling hard.
Dogecoin (DOGE) - USD 0.0719 | 24h: -0.07% | trend: almost flat, meme beta is not leading today.
3. Five biggest CoinMarketCap Top 100 gainers
Curve DAO Token (CRV) - USD 0.2126 | 24h: +5.79% | volume: USD 43.79m.
NEAR Protocol (NEAR) - USD 1.95 | 24h: +4.23% | volume: USD 233.98m.
Celestia (TIA) - USD 0.4017 | 24h: +3.62% | volume: USD 29.38m.
MemeCore (M) - USD 1.26 | 24h: +2.95% | volume: USD 15.49m.
Jupiter (JUP) - USD 0.2028 | 24h: +2.78% | volume: USD 32.61m.
The gainer board is modest. When the top Top 100 gainer is below 6%, this is not a euphoric market. It is selective rotation inside a weak broader tape.
4. Five biggest CoinMarketCap Top 100 losers
Pi (PI) - USD 0.07313 | 24h: -15.34% | volume: USD 36.47m.
DeXe (DEXE) - USD 42.68 | 24h: -10.17% | volume: USD 130.28m.
SPX6900 (SPX) - USD 0.3411 | 24h: -8.12% | volume: USD 8.13m.
Lighter (LIT) - USD 2.36 | 24h: -7.73% | volume: USD 88.82m.
https://t.co/MLhlRpz76S (ETHFI) - USD 0.3859 | 24h: -6.70% | volume: USD 30.41m.
The loser board is more useful than the gainer board today. Governance, meme risk, leverage infrastructure and restaking are all under pressure. This looks like risk reduction, not just one bad token story.
5. Recently added on CoinMarketCap
AIUSD (AIUSD) - USD 1.00 | 24h: +0.10% | Base | added 6 hours ago.
KharYsma Coins (KHACN) - USD 549.43 | 24h: 0.00% | Ethereum | added 10 hours ago.
Aladin (ALD) - USD 0.04089 | 24h: +3.92% | BNB Chain | added 13 hours ago.
Alphabet Class A Tokenized Stock (Robinhood) (GOOGL) - USD 357.51 | 24h: 0.00% | own blockchain | added 18 hours ago.
EchoStar Tokenized Stock (Robinhood) (SATS) - USD 99.68 | 24h: +0.01% | own blockchain | added 18 hours ago.
The new-listing board keeps showing the split personality of crypto in 2026: stablecoin-style assets, small new tokens and tokenized stocks on the same page.
That is not just “new coins”.
It is market data trying to absorb finance, memes, synthetic equities and payments at the same time.
6. News watch - last 10 hours
Bitcoin slips before CPI and Fed testimony: BTC, ETH, XRP and SOL are under pressure as traders price a higher chance of a July Fed rate hike. The key trigger is macro: oil prices, US-Iran tensions, the June CPI report and Fed Chair Kevin Warsh’s testimony.
Thai romance-scam laundering case: Interpol says a wallet linked to a suspected romance-scam money launderer processed more than USD 122.5 million in 10 months. Thai authorities arrested two suspects, and Operation First Light 2026 led to 5,811 arrests and USD 293 million in seized illicit assets. That is not a niche crypto story. It is fraud infrastructure.
CLARITY Act gets law-enforcement support, with caveats: The Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association backed the CLARITY Act but asked lawmakers to tighten DeFi language, preserve investigative powers and prevent firms from hiding behind decentralization claims. This is the real legal fight: innovation language versus accountability.
Trump crypto wealth complicates CLARITY politics: Democrats are pushing ethics provisions after disclosures that crypto increased President Trump’s wealth by around USD 1.4 billion. The question is no longer only how to regulate digital assets. It is also who is allowed to profit while writing the rules.
MiCA compliance becomes an industry in itself: Reed Smith launched Aquarius, a platform to automate MiCA workflows such as crypto-asset classification, white papers, due diligence and ESG disclosures. MiCA is now creating its own compliance market.
https://t.co/GsmrB8M6A0 wants back into the US market: https://t.co/GsmrB8M6A0 CEO Stephen Gregory says the exchange is rebuilding after regulatory setbacks and wants to regain roughly 20% US market share, with ultra-low fees and possible future products such as derivatives, perps and prediction markets. Regulation is becoming the product roadmap.
Bolivia weighs USDT for payments: Bolivia is considering allowing USDT to circulate alongside the boliviano and US dollar. Important caveat: Bolivia is on the FATF grey list, so any rollout would need serious AML controls. Stablecoins solve payment friction. They can also import compliance risk.
Hyundai tests USDT treasury settlement: Hyundai’s US and Mexican units tested a USD 20,000 cross-border treasury transfer using USDT on Avalanche. Settlement reportedly took around seven minutes, versus several hours through traditional banking rails. This is exactly where stablecoins become boring and important.
Circle/USDC pressure remains: Mizuho says Circle’s OCC trust-bank approval is positive but does not solve USDC’s growth and competition issues. USDC supply has reportedly fallen by around USD 7 billion from its March peak to about USD 74 billion.
Robinhood Chain: tokenized stocks, but memecoins first: Robinhood Chain was built for tokenized stocks, but memecoins are dominating early activity. CoinDesk reports the chain has pulled in hundreds of millions in value and millions of transactions, while tokenized real-world assets remain much smaller. Finance moves onchain; speculation gets there first.
7. Altcoins, meme coins, stablecoins, CBDCs, NFTs and crypto baskets
Altcoins: NEAR, TIA, CRV and JUP are holding up better today, while HYPE, DEXE, LIT, ETHFI and PI are under pressure. This is selective, not broad strength.
Meme coins: DOGE is basically flat, MemeCore is slightly green, while SPX6900 is among the bigger losers. Newly listed meme-style names are still moving, but the tape is not broadly risk-on.
Stablecoins: USDT and USDC remain close to peg. The more important story is adoption and supervision: Bolivia looking at USDT, Hyundai testing USDT treasury settlement, Thailand scrutinizing USDT flows, and Circle facing tougher competition.
Compliance and AML: Today’s legal story is unusually clear. Romance scams, cross-chain laundering, FATF grey-list concerns, DeFi accountability and MiCA workflows all point in the same direction: crypto compliance is becoming more granular, not less.
Tokenized securities: Robinhood’s new listings include tokenized stock exposure, but its chain activity is being led by memecoins. That is the irony: the infrastructure may be built for finance, but the first users often bring casino energy.
CBDCs: No major new CBDC headline dominated the strict overnight scan. The active digital-money story remains private stablecoins, tokenized deposits, and national payment-system experiments.
NFTs: NFT news is not driving the market this morning. Liquidity still follows ETH and SOL more than any single collection.
Crypto baskets: CoinDesk’s CD20 is around USD 1,701, down around 0.7%. CoinMarketCap’s Altcoin Season Index sits around 56/100. The basket message is simple: the broader market is weak, but not broken.
8. My read
This morning is about pressure and plumbing.
BTC is softer because macro is back. ETH is holding better. HYPE is cooling. The gainer board is modest. The loser board shows real de-risking.
But the deeper story is not price.
It is how crypto is being pulled into normal financial logic:
fraud tracing and romance-scam laundering
law-enforcement carveouts in market-structure bills
ethics provisions around political crypto wealth
MiCA compliance tooling
stablecoins in corporate treasury
USDT in national payment systems
tokenized stocks that memecoins immediately hijack
Crypto once promised to escape finance.
This morning looks more like crypto becoming finance, with all the boring, expensive and legally uncomfortable machinery that comes with it.

Crypto starts the week weaker.
CoinMarketCap shows the global crypto market cap around USD 2.16 trillion, down about 1.72% over 24h. Total 24h volume is around USD 49.04 billion. Bitcoin dominance is still high at around 58.25%.
The simple read: this is not a crash, but it is a clear risk-off morning. BTC is below USD 63k, ETH is below USD 1,800, and most large caps are red.
The market is still liquid. It is just not comfortable.
2. Top 10 coins by CryptoMarketCap ranking
Bitcoin (BTC) - USD 62,822.06 | 24h: -2.13% | trend: still holding above USD 62k, but momentum has weakened.
Ethereum (ETH) - USD 1,780.76 | 24h: -1.66% | trend: softer, but still supported by the broader ETH/RWA/Robinhood L2 narrative.
Tether USD (USDT) - USD 1.00 | 24h: 0.00% | trend: stable, still the main liquidity rail.
BNB (BNB) - USD 568.78 | 24h: -1.11% | trend: weaker, still exchange- and regulation-sensitive.
USDC (USDC) - USD 1.00 | 24h: +0.01% | trend: stable, but shrinking stablecoin supply is worth watching.
XRP (XRP) - USD 1.07 | 24h: -2.49% | trend: weaker, still tied to payments, regulation and institutional infrastructure headlines.
Solana (SOL) - USD 75.87 | 24h: -1.50% | trend: under pressure, still a key high-beta Layer 1 signal.
TRON (TRX) - USD 0.331 | 24h: +0.15% | trend: one of the few resilient large caps, helped by stablecoin settlement activity.
Hyperliquid (HYPE) - USD 66.67 | 24h: -0.83% | trend: cooling, but still structurally strong and high-beta.
Dogecoin (DOGE) - USD 0.0721 | 24h: -1.81% | trend: meme beta is soft this morning.
3. Five biggest CoinMarketCap Top 100 gainers
DeXe (DEXE) - USD 48.21 | 24h: +25.15% | volume: USD 213.32m.
Audiera (BEAT) - USD 2.60 | 24h: +15.29% | volume: USD 37.67m.
Jito (JTO) - USD 0.6292 | 24h: +6.16% | volume: USD 30.17m.
https://t.co/AoNC7DslCB (PUMP) - USD 0.001482 | 24h: +5.67% | volume: USD 45.22m.
Worldcoin (WLD) - USD 0.4125 | 24h: +3.21% | volume: USD 288.23m.
The gainer board is not clean. Governance, AI/social identity, Solana staking, meme issuance and exchange-adjacent narratives are moving at the same time.
Crypto rarely gives tidy categories.
4. Five biggest CoinMarketCap Top 100 losers
Pi (PI) - USD 0.08691 | 24h: -11.51% | volume: USD 15.29m.
Arbitrum (ARB) - USD 0.09078 | 24h: -8.33% | volume: USD 122.06m.
Virtuals Protocol (VIRTUAL) - USD 0.5629 | 24h: -5.50% | volume: USD 43.83m.
Aptos (APT) - USD 0.5955 | 24h: -4.88% | volume: USD 43.22m.
Cardano (ADA) - USD 0.1580 | 24h: -4.55% | volume: USD 232.45m.
The loser board is more revealing than the gainer board today. L2s, AI-agent tokens, high-beta L1s and older large-cap altcoins are all under pressure. That feels like selective de-risking, not a single bad headline.
5. Recently added on CoinMarketCap
88 KEY (88KEY) - USD 0.8525 | 24h: +53.21% | Ethereum | added 23 hours ago.
Codex (CDXR) - USD 0.003996 | 24h: +0.19% | Ethereum | added 1 day ago.
ProjectVex (VEX) - USD 0.00472 | 24h: +17.47% | Own Blockchain | added 1 day ago.
Nerve Protocol (NRV) - USD 0.5030 | 24h: +12.84% | Own Blockchain | added 1 day ago.
Wen Lambo (WEN) - USD 0.008559 | 24h: +16.74% | Own Blockchain | added 2 days ago.
The recent-listing board is still the highest-noise part of the market.
The names alone tell the story: serious-sounding protocols next to meme-style speculation. Before the narrative, check liquidity. Before liquidity, check the contract. Before the contract, check who controls supply.
6. News watch - last 10 hours / overnight flow
Bitcoin ETFs finally see inflows again: US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded about USD 197.4 million in net inflows for the week ending Friday, snapping an eight-week outflow streak. But analysts are not ready to call it a clean institutional recovery. After more than USD 8 billion in outflows since May, one positive week is a signal, not proof.
Ether ETFs also break their outflow streak: US-listed spot Ether ETFs also recorded weekly net inflows, around USD 84.4 million. Again, good sign. But the earlier outflow damage was large, so this is not yet a full reset.
Strategy and the “orange dot” problem: Michael Saylor’s latest post again triggered speculation about Strategy’s next Bitcoin move. The market used to read these posts as a buy signal. That is harder now, because Strategy recently sold 3,588 BTC for about USD 216 million to fund preferred distributions and rebuild dollar reserves.
Strategy’s messaging is now a Bitcoin market issue: Standard Chartered reportedly warned that Strategy’s shifting BTC treasury communication is “muddying the waters” for Bitcoin in the near term. That matters because the biggest corporate Bitcoin treasury is no longer a simple “never sell” story. It is now a capital-structure story.
Stablecoin supply contracts: The stablecoin market has reportedly lost about USD 10 billion since its May 2026 peak. June alone saw a USD 7.7 billion decline to roughly USD 312 billion, the largest monthly dollar drop since TerraUSD. That does not mean a collapse, but it does suggest thinner crypto-native dollar liquidity.
Stablecoin transaction activity remains strong: The interesting contradiction is that supply fell while transaction volumes stayed high. USDC reportedly processed about USD 1.21 trillion in adjusted volume in June, while USDT processed about USD 573 billion. Fewer tokens, still heavy usage.
Thailand tightens checks around large USDT flows: Thailand’s central bank is planning stricter checks for large cash deposits and high-value stablecoin transactions. The threshold is 5 million baht, roughly USD 150,000. Regulators are also reviewing large USDT transactions for hidden ownership and possible bypassing of domestic remittance channels.
Ethereum energy data gets updated: Cambridge estimates Ethereum’s annual electricity consumption at around 7.87 GWh, with the Merge having cut power demand by more than 99.9%. The environmental debate around Ethereum is no longer the old proof-of-work debate, but grid mix and node infrastructure still matter.
Bitcoin governance fight continues: Saylor and Adam Back criticized BIP-110, a proposed temporary fork aimed at limiting non-monetary Bitcoin transactions such as Ordinals-style data. The fight is not just technical. It is about whether Bitcoin should police use cases at protocol level.
Legal / fraud watch: I did not find a major fresh criminal conviction in the strict overnight window. The legal risk story today is instead market-structure and compliance-driven: ETF flows, corporate treasury disclosure, stablecoin redemptions, high-value USDT monitoring and protocol-governance disputes.
7. Altcoins, meme coins, stablecoins, CBDCs, NFTs and crypto baskets
Altcoins: DEXE, JTO and WLD are stronger, while ARB, APT and ADA are weak. This is selective rotation, not a broad altcoin bid.
Meme coins: DOGE is down, but PUMP is among the Top 100 gainers and Wen Lambo is newly listed. Meme liquidity is alive, but very uneven. That is usually how meme markets behave when confidence is thin.
Stablecoins: USDT and USDC are close to peg, but the supply contraction matters. If stablecoin supply keeps falling, it can reduce crypto-native buying power even if transaction volumes remain high.
Compliance and AML: Thailand’s focus on large USDT trades is exactly where stablecoins become a compliance problem: source of funds, beneficial ownership, remittance bypassing, platform controls and monitoring thresholds.
Bitcoin governance: The BIP-110 dispute is a reminder that “Bitcoin does one thing” is not enough. The hard question is who decides what counts as legitimate use of block space.
CBDCs: No major new CBDC headline dominated the strict last-10-hour scan. The active digital-money fight this morning is still private stablecoins, remittance controls and reserve liquidity.
NFTs and Ordinals: NFT news is not driving the market today, but Ordinals are indirectly back in the Bitcoin governance debate. Whether Bitcoin should host arbitrary data remains politically sensitive inside the protocol community.
Crypto baskets: The broad market is weaker, and BTC dominance remains high. The basket signal is simple: selective strength exists, but the overall market is risk-off.
8. My read
This morning is about liquidity and credibility.
Bitcoin is down but still above USD 62k. ETH is soft but not broken. Stablecoins are close to peg, but supply is shrinking. ETFs finally show inflows after a brutal streak. Strategy’s Bitcoin story is becoming harder to read. Thailand is treating large USDT flows like an AML and remittance issue. Bitcoin’s own community is fighting over what the network should allow.
That is the market now.
Not just price.
Liquidity, protocol rules, capital structure, ETF flows, stablecoin reserves, AML monitoring and the legal meaning of “use”.
Crypto started by trying to avoid institutional questions.
Now the questions are institutional whether crypto likes it or not.

1. Morning crypto market check - Zurich
Zurich time: 05:37, Sunday, 12 July 2026.
Crypto starts Sunday almost flat.
CoinMarketCap shows the global crypto market cap around USD 2.2 trillion, slightly lower over 24h. Total 24h volume is around USD 47.27 billion, down sharply, while Bitcoin dominance is still high at about 58.49%.
Kraken’s tape is more interesting than the headline: around 74.6% buying versus 25.4% selling.
So the market is not collapsing. It is also not euphoric. It looks like a quiet Sunday market with buyers still active, but volume clearly thinner.
2. Top 10 coins by CoinMarketCap ranking
Bitcoin (BTC) - USD 64,036.63 | 24h: +0.10% | 7d: +2.13% | trend: steady above USD 64k, but not breaking out.
Ethereum (ETH) - USD 1,803.86 | 24h: +0.54% | 7d: +2.44% | trend: slightly stronger than BTC today.
Tether (USDT) - USD 0.9992 | 24h: +0.01% | trend: close to peg, still the main liquidity rail.
BNB (BNB) - USD 573.97 | 24h: +0.06% | 7d: +0.82% | trend: flat, still exchange- and regulation-sensitive.
USDC (USDC) - USD 0.9997 | 24h: 0.00% | trend: stable, increasingly institutional.
XRP (XRP) - USD 1.09 | 24h: +0.90% | 7d: +3.58% | trend: stronger large-cap move, still tied to payments and regulation.
Solana (SOL) - USD 76.83 | 24h: +1.08% | 7d: +4.42% | trend: the best top-10 move this morning.
TRON (TRX) - USD 0.3293 | 24h: +0.22% | 7d: +1.57% | trend: stable, still relevant for stablecoin settlement.
Hyperliquid (HYPE) - USD 67.19 | 24h: +0.04% | 7d: +2.08% | trend: holding, but cooling after recent strength.
Dogecoin (DOGE) - USD 0.07316 | 24h: +1.31% | 7d: +3.50% | trend: meme beta is green, but not leading the whole market.
3. Five biggest CoinMarketCap Top 100 gainers
Arbitrum (ARB) - USD 0.09767 | 24h: +5.33% | volume: USD 152.71m.
DeXe (DEXE) - USD 37.82 | 24h: +5.25% | volume: USD 94.76m.
Uniswap (UNI) - USD 3.65 | 24h: +5.04% | volume: USD 229.66m.
https://t.co/MLhlRpz76S (ETHFI) - USD 0.4251 | 24h: +4.59% | volume: USD 44.29m.
Aave (AAVE) - USD 98.85 | 24h: +4.17% | volume: USD 285.79m.
Interesting board: L2 infrastructure, governance, DEX liquidity, liquid restaking and DeFi credit are catching the bid. That is a more serious mix than a pure meme rally.
4. Five biggest CoinMarketCap Top 100 losers
Audiera (BEAT) - USD 2.23 | 24h: -18.25% | volume: USD 43.10m.
MemeCore (M) - USD 1.26 | 24h: -7.12% | volume: USD 14.88m.
Virtuals Protocol (VIRTUAL) - USD 0.5971 | 24h: -5.30% | volume: USD 112.61m.
Hedera (HBAR) - USD 0.06755 | 24h: -3.86% | volume: USD 93.61m.
LayerZero (ZRO) - USD 0.9059 | 24h: -3.83% | volume: USD 20.81m.
The loser board is not catastrophic, but HBAR stands out because of the Hedera exploit headlines. That is exactly the kind of market reaction compliance teams should notice.
5. Recently added on CoinMarketCap
ProjectVex (VEX) - USD 0.006392 | 24h: +45.23% | Own Blockchain | added 12 hours ago.

Cash Dog (CASHDOG) - USD 0.00006351 | 24h: +17.63% | Own Blockchain | added 1 day ago.
New listings remain the highest-noise part of the market. Before the narrative, check liquidity. Before liquidity, check the contract. Before the contract, check who controls supply.
6. News watch - last 10 hours / overnight flow
Bonzo / Hedera oracle exploit: Bonzo Lend reportedly lost around USD 9.05 million after an attacker exploited a verification flaw in a third-party Supra oracle contract on Hedera. Bonzo’s TVL fell around 77%, while Hedera’s TVL dropped nearly 40% in 24h. This is the cleanest overnight security story: oracle risk is not theoretical.
Hedera exploit spillover: Security researchers also tracked more than USD 5.8 million moving from Hedera to Ethereum through cross-chain routes, with funds reportedly bridged via LayerZero and swapped into ETH. The old lesson remains: once assets move cross-chain, recovery becomes legally and technically harder.
Crypto IPO market stalls: CoinDesk reports that crypto IPO appetite has slowed as capital rotates toward AI and macro uncertainty weighs on risk assets. This matters because listed crypto firms need public-market demand, not just regulatory clarity.
Ethereum AI security work: The Ethereum Foundation used AI agents to find a validator-related bug that could trigger a remote crash. The bug was fixed as CVE-2026-34219. The more interesting point: AI found signals, but humans still had to separate real bugs from very convincing nonsense.
Hong Kong fake wallet scam: Hong Kong Interbank Clearing warned about fake websites using cash rewards, virtual wallets and fake FPS-related verification to collect IDs, phone numbers and bank details. This is not sophisticated DeFi. It is classic phishing with a crypto-payment wrapper.
ESMA reviews MiCA custodians: ESMA is reviewing MiCA-authorized crypto custodians, focusing on operational resilience, key management, transaction controls, incident response and third-party technology risk. MiCA licensing was step one. Supervision is now moving into the machinery.
Robinhood Chain activity surge: Robinhood Chain reportedly processed 7.6 million daily transactions only 11 days after launch, helped by gas subsidies and tokenized-stock activity. Useful signal, but subsidized activity is always a question: what survives after the subsidy ends?
Morgan Stanley BTC accumulation: Arkham-linked data says Morgan Stanley added nearly 1,000 BTC over two weeks, lifting tracked holdings to 5,761 BTC. Institutional accumulation is not always dramatic. Sometimes it is just repeated settlement through Coinbase Prime.
No major fresh criminal judgment found in the strict scan: The legal and risk stories this morning are security, custody supervision, phishing, market infrastructure, tokenized activity and AI-assisted vulnerability discovery rather than a new court conviction.
7. Altcoins, meme coins, stablecoins, CBDCs, NFTs and crypto baskets
Altcoins: SOL, ARB, UNI, AAVE, ETHFI and DEXE are the stronger names today. The move is more infrastructure and DeFi than pure meme speculation.
Meme coins: DOGE is green, but MemeCore is one of the larger Top 100 losers. Wen Lambo, Rob and Cash Dog are active in the new-listing board. Meme liquidity is alive, but it is still a liquidity game before it is a thesis.
Stablecoins: USDT and USDC are close to peg. The more important stablecoin story remains settlement, issuer supervision, redemption rights, sanctions screening and use inside tokenized markets.
Oracles and bridges: The Bonzo/Hedera situation is a reminder that DeFi risk is often at the interfaces: oracle verification, wrapper layers, cross-chain bridges and liquidation logic.
Tokenized securities: Robinhood Chain’s activity is another sign that tokenized stocks are becoming a real market-structure theme. The legal question remains basic: what exactly does the token holder own, and where is that enforceable?
CBDCs: No major new CBDC headline dominated the strict overnight window. The live policy action remains stablecoins, tokenized deposits and private settlement rails.
NFTs: NFT news is not driving the market this morning. NFT liquidity still follows ETH and SOL sentiment more than any single collection story.
Crypto baskets: CoinMarketCap’s CMC20 is around USD 130.32, up about 0.51% over 24h. CoinDesk’s CD20 is around USD 1,740, slightly negative. The basket message is simple: broad market basically flat, with selective DeFi strength and security-driven weakness.
8. My read
This morning is quieter on price, but not quiet underneath.
BTC is steady above USD 64k. ETH is slightly stronger. SOL is the cleanest large-cap move. DeFi infrastructure is catching a bid. HBAR is under pressure after exploit headlines. New listings are still full of meme noise and thin liquidity.
The more serious story is operational.
A lending protocol can lose millions through oracle verification. Funds can move cross-chain before anyone agrees what happened. AI can find real Ethereum bugs, but also generate convincing false ones. MiCA custodians are now being tested on key management and incident response. Tokenized-stock chains are producing millions of transactions, but incentives still blur the signal.
Crypto has always sold speed.
This morning asks the harder question:
Can the controls move fast enough too?
Disclaimer: This is for informational purposes only - not investment advice. Cryptocurrencies are speculative and volatile. Consult a licensed professional before acting. No offer, recommendation, or solicitation.
1. Morning crypto market check - Zurich
Zurich time: 06:19, Saturday, 11 July 2026.
Crypto starts the morning slightly green, but not euphoric.
CoinMarketCap shows the global crypto market cap around USD 2.2 trillion, up about 0.36% over 24h. Total 24h volume is around USD 61.43 billion, down about 4.81%. Bitcoin dominance is around 58.51%.
CryptoMarketCap’s top table shows BTC around USD 64.2k, ETH near USD 1.8k, and a mixed large-cap board: ETH and ZEC stronger, SOL and HYPE softer.
My read: the market is holding the recovery, but with thinner volume. That is not a panic signal. It is a caution signal.
2. Top 10 coins by CryptoMarketCap ranking
Bitcoin (BTC) - USD 64,164.53 | 24h: +0.41% | trend: steady above USD 64k, but not yet explosive.
Ethereum (ETH) - USD 1,797.17 | 24h: +1.22% | trend: stronger than BTC today, still benefiting from institutional ETH narratives.
Tether USD (USDT) - USD 1.00 | 24h: -0.01% | trend: effectively stable, still the main liquidity rail.
BNB (BNB) - USD 575.48 | 24h: +0.04% | trend: flat, still exchange- and regulation-sensitive.
USDC (USDC) - USD 1.00 | 24h: 0.00% | trend: stable, increasingly institutional.
XRP (XRP) - USD 1.11 | 24h: +0.18% | trend: steady, still linked to payments and regulatory narratives.
Solana (SOL) - USD 77.80 | 24h: -1.49% | trend: weaker large-cap move today, still a high-beta Layer 1 signal.
TRON (TRX) - USD 0.330 | 24h: -0.43% | trend: slightly soft, but stablecoin settlement use remains important.
Hyperliquid (HYPE) - USD 67.17 | 24h: -1.65% | trend: cooling after recent strength, still high-beta.
Dogecoin (DOGE) - USD 0.0743 | 24h: +0.44% | trend: mildly green, but meme beta is not leading.
3. Five biggest CoinMarketCap Top 100 gainers
Audiera (BEAT) - USD 2.69 | 24h: +17.76% | volume: USD 28.68m.
Virtuals Protocol (VIRTUAL) - USD 0.6239 | 24h: +15.75% | volume: USD 124.40m.
MemeCore (M) - USD 1.33 | 24h: +6.95% | volume: USD 14.98m.
Pyth Network (PYTH) - USD 0.04771 | 24h: +6.35% | volume: USD 22.51m.
Lighter (LIT) - USD 2.64 | 24h: +6.10% | volume: USD 84.91m.
Interesting board: AI/agent infrastructure, meme liquidity, data/oracles and market-structure names are all moving together. Not a clean single-theme rally.
4. Five biggest CoinMarketCap Top 100 losers
Morpho (MORPHO) - USD 2.08 | 24h: -8.94% | volume: USD 28.49m.
https://t.co/AoNC7DslCB (PUMP) - USD 0.001443 | 24h: -5.55% | volume: USD 37.08m.
Jupiter (JUP) - USD 0.2055 | 24h: -3.96% | volume: USD 26.25m.
Venice Token (VVV) - USD 11.08 | 24h: -3.62% | volume: USD 24.51m.
Celestia (TIA) - USD 0.4080 | 24h: -3.38% | volume: USD 28.62m.
The loser board is not dramatic, but it is telling: DeFi credit, memecoin infrastructure, Solana ecosystem and modular infra are under pressure. This looks more like rotation than broad liquidation.

New listings remain the noisiest part of the market. The first question is not “what is the narrative?” It is: where is the liquidity, what is the contract, and who controls the supply?
6. News watch - last 10 hours
DOJ / BitClub reversal: The US Department of Justice is reportedly moving to dismiss charges against Matthew Goettsche, founder of BitClub Network, an alleged USD 722 million crypto mining fraud. If finalized, this would be a striking shift in US crypto enforcement tone.
Kraken AI investing assistant: Kraken is overhauling its app with an AI-powered investing assistant that can recommend trades based on user goals, risk profile and portfolio context, but still requires user approval. That detail matters. “AI-assisted” is not the same as “autonomous execution”.
Senate Democrats ask for Trump crypto hearings: Five Senate Democrats called for hearings into President Trump’s crypto ties while the CLARITY Act remains under discussion. The political issue is no longer simply “how should crypto be regulated?” It is also “who benefits from the rules?”
US CBDC ban moves into law: A US housing bill containing a temporary CBDC ban is set to become law without Trump’s signature. The restriction blocks the Federal Reserve from issuing a US digital dollar until the end of 2030. That strengthens the private stablecoin lane by default.
New Hampshire rejects Bitcoin-backed bonds: New Hampshire’s executive council voted down a proposed USD 100 million Bitcoin-backed bond issuance. Bitcoin treasury policy is spreading, but public-sector risk appetite is not unlimited.
Meta and agentic commerce: Meta’s chief data officer said agentic commerce could become the next tier of business, with stablecoins sitting underneath conversational payments and AI agents. That is probably where stablecoins get really interesting: not as “crypto dollars”, but as settlement for machines and platforms.
South Korea stablecoin pilot: https://t.co/4LWDuBMDKL reports that South Korea is testing a blockchain stablecoin in a government pilot. The direction is familiar: regulated digital money is moving from white papers into controlled infrastructure trials.
Backpack tokenized stocks: Backpack is entering the race for 24/7 tokenized US stocks. Tokenized equities are becoming one of the fastest-moving corners of the market, but the legal question remains basic: what exactly does the token holder own?
No major fresh hack judgment found in the strict window: The dominant legal stories this morning are enforcement discretion, AI investment tools, CBDC policy, political conflicts, tokenized securities and stablecoin infrastructure - not a new criminal conviction.
7. Altcoins, meme coins, stablecoins, CBDCs, NFTs and crypto baskets
Altcoins: ETH, ZEC, PYTH, VIRTUAL, LIT and BEAT are showing relative strength. SOL, HYPE, MORPHO and JUP are softer. The market is selective, not broad.
Meme coins: DOGE is mildly green. MemeCore is a Top 100 gainer. https://t.co/AoNC7DslCB is a loser. Newly added CASHDOG, CASHCAT and TAOT are moving hard. Translation: meme liquidity is alive, but extremely uneven.
Stablecoins: USDT and USDC remain close to peg. The more important story is policy and infrastructure: US CBDC restrictions, Meta’s agentic-commerce thesis, South Korea’s pilot and stablecoins as payment rails.
Tokenized equities: Backpack’s 24/7 stock move is another sign that tokenized equities are becoming a genuine market-structure theme. The hard parts are custody, issuer rights, transfer restrictions, market data, settlement and securities-law perimeter.
CBDCs: The US is moving politically against a federal digital dollar until 2030, while other jurisdictions keep testing public or quasi-public digital money systems. The split is getting sharper: private stablecoins in the US, public digital money experiments elsewhere.
Privacy coins: ZEC is again stronger, and XMR remains policy-sensitive. Privacy remains a market narrative, but also an exchange-access and sanctions-compliance problem.
NFTs: NFT news is not driving the market this morning. NFT liquidity still follows ETH and SOL sentiment more than any single collection story.
Crypto baskets: CoinDesk’s CD20 is around 1,745, basically flat to slightly green. CoinMarketCap’s broader market cap is also slightly positive. Baskets confirm the tone: controlled recovery, not a blow-off rally.
8. My read
This morning is not about one big price move.
It is about the market becoming more institutional, more political and more automated at the same time.
Bitcoin is stable above USD 64k. ETH is stronger. Solana and HYPE are cooling. Meme coins are noisy again. Stablecoins are now payment infrastructure. Tokenized stocks are moving toward 24/7 trading. AI is entering investment interfaces. The DOJ may walk back a major crypto fraud case. Congress is fighting over CBDCs and political conflicts.
Crypto used to ask whether finance would move onchain.
Now the sharper question is this:
What happens when finance becomes tokenized, AI-assisted, politically entangled and still traded by people chasing a coin called Wen Lambo?
That is not a contradiction.
That is probably the market.

1. Morning crypto market check - Zurich
Zurich time: 06:12, Friday, 10 July 2026.
Crypto starts Friday with a real relief move.
CoinMarketCap shows the global crypto market cap around USD 2.19 trillion, up about 2.34% over 24h. Total 24h volume is around USD 64.5 billion. BTC dominance is still high at around 58.45%.
So the market is clearly green.
But the mood is not euphoric. Bitcoin is back above USD 63k, yet the Fear & Greed reading is still in extreme fear territory. That combination says something useful: price is recovering faster than confidence.
2. Top 10 coins by CryptoMarketCap ranking
Bitcoin (BTC) - USD 63,318.59 | 24h: +1.69% | trend: constructive, holding above USD 63k.
Ethereum (ETH) - USD 1,755.68 | 24h: +1.03% | trend: positive, but still waiting for a cleaner breakout above the recent range.
Tether USD (USDT) - USD 1.00 | 24h: -0.01% | trend: effectively stable, still the main liquidity rail.
BNB (BNB) - USD 572.63 | 24h: +1.29% | trend: firmer, but still regulatory-sensitive.
USDC (USDC) - USD 1.00 | 24h: -0.03% | trend: stable, increasingly institutional.
XRP (XRP) - USD 1.10 | 24h: +0.67% | trend: modestly positive, with SWIFT/Ripple-related headlines keeping it in focus.
Solana (SOL) - USD 78.25 | 24h: +1.39% | trend: stronger, still one of the key high-beta Layer 1 signals.
TRON (TRX) - USD 0.332 | 24h: +0.67% | trend: steady, supported by stablecoin settlement flows.
Hyperliquid (HYPE) - USD 67.67 | 24h: +0.45% | trend: still high-beta, cooling slightly after recent strength.
Dogecoin (DOGE) - USD 0.0733 | 24h: +0.85% | trend: meme beta is green, but not leading the market.
3. Five biggest CoinMarketCap Top 100 gainers
DeXe (DEXE) - USD 34.54 | 24h: +19.72% | volume: USD 118.89m.
Arbitrum (ARB) - USD 0.09131 | 24h: +14.61% | volume: USD 276.32m.
Morpho (MORPHO) - USD 2.28 | 24h: +12.57% | volume: USD 29.95m.
Zcash (ZEC) - USD 492.48 | 24h: +7.73% | volume: USD 437.73m.
Celestia (TIA) - USD 0.4212 | 24h: +7.23% | volume: USD 53.13m.
The gainer board is more interesting than usual: governance, L2s, DeFi credit, privacy and modular infrastructure are all moving at once. This is not a single-theme rally.
4. Five biggest CoinMarketCap Top 100 losers
MemeCore (M) - USD 1.24 | 24h: -7.33% | volume: USD 15.61m.
币安人生 - USD 0.6857 | 24h: -3.29% | volume: USD 12.99m.
Pi (PI) - USD 0.09836 | 24h: -2.24% | volume: USD 16.73m.
Midnight (NIGHT) - USD 0.03122 | 24h: -1.94% | volume: USD 12.83m.
Aerodrome Finance (AERO) - USD 0.5164 | 24h: -1.49% | volume: USD 26.54m.
The loser board is relatively mild. That usually means this is rotation, not liquidation.

New listings are still the wildest corner of the board. A 500,000% move is not a thesis. It is usually a liquidity, listing or base-effect story until proven otherwise.
6. News watch - last 10 hours
Bitcoin back above USD 63k: BTC moved above USD 63,000 as lower oil prices and softer US yields improved risk appetite. The important caveat: sentiment remains fragile, with Fear & Greed still in extreme fear territory.
Coinbase legal change before CLARITY vote: Coinbase Chief Legal Officer Paul Grewal will step down on 31 July and move into an advisory role. Molly Abraham becomes general counsel just as the US Senate prepares to revisit the CLARITY Act. Timing matters. Legal leadership is now market structure.
CLARITY Act draft expected soon: Senate negotiators are reportedly preparing a merged CLARITY Act draft, possibly as early as next week. The hard fights remain familiar: ethics rules, DeFi treatment, stablecoin provisions and which regulator gets which part of crypto.
Ethereum Foundation on AI security: The Ethereum Foundation says AI tools can find potential bugs, but the hard part is proving which reports are real. One AI-agent effort found an actual libp2p vulnerability, later disclosed as CVE-2026-34219. Good reminder: AI can widen the funnel, but humans still own validation.
Hong Kong bans SMS-style authentication for crypto platforms: Hong Kong’s SFC ordered licensed crypto platforms and online brokers to replace SMS, email and app-generated one-time codes with phishing-resistant login methods within 12 months. That is operational resilience becoming regulatory law.
CME hits CFTC delay on 24/7 futures: The CFTC temporarily halted CME’s plan for 24/7 crude oil futures, citing the need for more review. It is not crypto directly, but it matters: the same 24/7 market logic that crypto normalized is now pushing into traditional derivatives. Regulators are not moving at exchange speed.
SWIFT blockchain pilot touches XRP narrative: SWIFT launched a blockchain payments pilot involving 17 banks, including institutions with Ripple links such as Standard Chartered and UBS. XRP reacted, but the direct economic link to XRP remains debated. Infrastructure headlines and token value are not the same thing.
Kalshi pushes gold, FX and energy perpetuals: Kalshi is reportedly seeking approval for perpetual futures linked to gold, foreign exchange and energy. The legal category problem is getting bigger: crypto-style market structure is leaking into commodities, FX and prediction-market design.
No major fresh criminal conviction found in the strict window: I did not find a major new crypto criminal judgment inside the last 10 hours. The risk story this morning is regulatory, operational and infrastructure-based: market-structure law, authentication, AI security validation and 24/7 derivatives.
7. Altcoins, meme coins, stablecoins, CBDCs, NFTs and crypto baskets
Altcoins: ARB, MORPHO, TIA, AAVE and ZRO are catching a bid. SOL is also stronger, but the bigger move is in infrastructure and DeFi-related names.
Meme coins: DOGE is green, but MemeCore is the largest Top 100 loser. Meme liquidity is selective, not broad.
Stablecoins: USDT and USDC remain very close to peg. The more important story remains reserve quality, redemption rights, issuer supervision, banking access and settlement use.
Privacy coins: ZEC is one of the strongest Top 100 gainers. Privacy remains a live market narrative, even as regulated intermediaries become more cautious around it.
Tokenized markets: The recent-listing board still shows crypto’s split personality: political-style tokens, meme names, DeFi labels and yield-bearing stablecoin structures all appearing in the same data feed.
CBDCs: No major fresh CBDC headline dominated the strict 10-hour scan. The live digital-money fight today is still private stablecoins, tokenized deposits and bank-controlled rails.
NFTs: NFT news is not driving the market this morning. NFT liquidity still follows ETH and SOL more than any single collection.
Crypto baskets: CoinMarketCap’s CMC20 is around USD 130.03, up about 0.81% over 24h. The basket confirms the tone: broad relief, but not a euphoric reset.
8. My read
This morning is green, but the real story is not the green.
It is structure.
Bitcoin is above USD 63k, but confidence is still cautious. Coinbase is changing legal leadership before a major US market-structure vote. The Ethereum Foundation is learning that AI security tools create a verification problem, not just a bug-finding solution. Hong Kong is turning phishing resistance into a crypto-platform requirement. CME is discovering that 24/7 traditional futures are not regulatory plug-and-play.
Crypto used to export volatility.
Now it is exporting market structure.
And that may be the more important story.
Because once finance becomes 24/7, programmable, tokenized and AI-assisted, the legal questions do not disappear.
They multiply.

1. Morning crypto market check - Zurich
Zurich time: 06:27, Thursday, 9 July 2026.
Crypto starts the morning weaker.
CoinMarketCap shows the global crypto market cap around USD 2.14 trillion, down about 0.95% over 24h. Total 24h volume is around USD 65.52 billion. BTC dominance is still high at around 58.06%.
The simple read: this is not panic, but it is a risk-off morning. The broader market is giving back part of the recent recovery.
Stablecoin volume remains huge, which says the same thing in a different language: liquidity is still there, but a lot of it is waiting on the sidelines.
2. Top 10 coins by CoinMarketCap ranking
Bitcoin (BTC) - USD 61,935.01 | 24h: -1.21% | trend: still holding above USD 60k, but losing momentum.
Ethereum (ETH) - USD 1,729.39 | 24h: -1.15% | trend: softer today, but still stronger than BTC on the 7d view.
Tether USDt (USDT) - USD 0.9990 | 24h: -0.01% | trend: close to peg, still the main liquidity rail.
BNB (BNB) - USD 567.51 | 24h: -0.31% | trend: slightly negative, but relatively resilient.
USDC (USDC) - USD 0.9998 | 24h: flat | trend: stable, still central for regulated settlement.
XRP (XRP) - USD 1.08 | 24h: -0.68% | trend: soft, still payments- and regulation-sensitive.
Solana (SOL) - USD 77.20 | 24h: -1.84% | trend: weaker than BTC and ETH today, but still a key high-beta signal.
TRON (TRX) - USD 0.3289 | 24h: -0.49% | trend: defensive, supported by stablecoin settlement use.
Hyperliquid (HYPE) - USD 67.17 | 24h: -1.17% | trend: cooling after recent strength, still high-beta.
Dogecoin (DOGE) - USD 0.07227 | 24h: -0.47% | trend: meme beta is soft, but not collapsing.
3. Five biggest CoinMarketCap Top 100 gainers
Arbitrum (ARB) - USD 0.08156 | 24h: +7.22% | volume: USD 69.57m.
Venice Token (VVV) - USD 11.44 | 24h: +5.93% | volume: USD 36.65m.
Sky (SKY) - USD 0.05468 | 24h: +3.17% | volume: USD 21.45m.
Mantle (MNT) - USD 0.4242 | 24h: +2.98% | volume: USD 34.04m.
DeXe (DEXE) - USD 28.78 | 24h: +2.97% | volume: USD 48.99m.
The gainer board is modest. That matters. When the biggest Top 100 gainer is only up around 7%, this is not a euphoric tape. It is selective strength inside a weaker market.
4. Five biggest CoinMarketCap Top 100 losers
Jupiter (JUP) - USD 0.2103 | 24h: -7.88% | volume: USD 35.16m.
Aerodrome Finance (AERO) - USD 0.5312 | 24h: -5.58% | volume: USD 38.53m.
Zcash (ZEC) - USD 457.24 | 24h: -4.89% | volume: USD 399.08m.
LayerZero (ZRO) - USD 0.9274 | 24h: -4.83% | volume: USD 32.51m.
Audiera (BEAT) - USD 2.25 | 24h: -4.57% | volume: USD 23.17m.
The loser board is not catastrophic, but it is broad enough to show risk reduction. ZEC being on the loser board is also interesting after several days of privacy-coin attention.

UNI TOKEN (UNIC) - USD 0.9491 | 24h: +0.01% | Own Blockchain | added 2 days ago.
The recent-listing page remains a strange place: meme tokens, DeFi-style names and derivative-style equity exposure all sit next to each other.
That is crypto in 2026: micro-cap theatre and tokenized securities plumbing on the same screen.
6. News watch - last 10 hours
Tokenized stocks are accelerating: Tokenized stock transfers reportedly surged 105% in a month to around USD 8.4 billion, while the sector’s distributed value climbed to around USD 2.16 billion. This is no longer just “RWA narrative”. It is becoming market infrastructure.
MiCA may already need MiCA 2.0: EU officials are reportedly preparing to revisit MiCA to address non-EU stablecoin issuers, tokenized payments and tokenized deposits. MiCA just became fully operational, and the market is already forcing the next version.
Stablecoin-settled TradFi perps top USD 1.1T: Binance Research says stablecoin-settled perpetual contracts linked to traditional financial assets topped USD 1.1 trillion in H1 2026. Stablecoins are no longer only exchange collateral. They are becoming settlement rails for synthetic capital markets.
ESMA looks at crypto custody risk: ESMA is launching a review of crypto-asset service providers under MiCA, with a focus on custody, key management, storage and operational resilience. That is exactly where legal responsibility meets technical reality.
Zapper shuts down: Mark Cuban-backed DeFi dashboard Zapper is shutting down after seven years. At its peak, it served more than 2 million monthly active users and processed over USD 13 billion in transactions. The lesson is not that DeFi is dead. The lesson is that useful products still need demand, margins and timing.
Adam Back’s Bitcoin treasury SPAC is being renegotiated: The Bitcoin Standard Treasury Company and Cantor Equity Partners are seeking new merger terms after the original 2025 deal. The initial structure involved more than 30,000 BTC and USD 1.5 billion in PIPE financing. Bitcoin treasury finance is still alive, but the easy enthusiasm has cooled.
Polymarket tries to rebuild US trust: Polymarket is reportedly mounting a US marketing campaign after years of legal scrutiny, including sports partnerships, media links and influencer activity. Prediction markets remain one of crypto’s most interesting legal puzzles: derivatives, gambling, information markets and consumer protection in one product.
CBDC politics remains awkward: The Bank of England governor reportedly denied that Nigel Farage lobbying influenced CBDC policy. The bigger point is obvious: CBDCs are not only a technology issue. They are privacy, politics, surveillance fears and public trust.
7. Altcoins, meme coins, stablecoins, CBDCs, NFTs and crypto baskets
Altcoins: ARB, VVV, SKY, MNT and DEXE are the relative strength names today. SOL, ZRO, JUP and AERO look weaker.
Meme coins: DOGE is slightly down. ASTEROID is newly listed and moving, but new meme listings remain liquidity experiments first and investment narratives second.
Stablecoins: USDT and USDC remain close to peg. The real story is stablecoins as settlement infrastructure for tokenized assets, derivatives, payments and cross-border transfers.
Tokenized equities: This is the strongest theme of the morning. Transfers, broker-dealer infrastructure, synthetic stock exposure and tokenized collateral are all moving at once. The legal question is still basic: what exactly does the token holder own?
Privacy coins: ZEC is on the loser board today, while XMR remains policy-sensitive. Privacy coins are still relevant, but regulated market access is becoming harder, not easier.
CBDCs: No major new CBDC launch dominated the overnight window, but the Bank of England/Farage story shows how politically sensitive public digital money remains.
NFTs: NFT news is not driving the market today. Liquidity still follows ETH and SOL more than any single collection story.
Crypto baskets: CoinDesk’s CD20 is around USD 1,701, down about 1%. The basket confirms the broader message: today is a controlled pullback, not a broad collapse.
8. My read
This morning is not about one coin.
It is about the quiet migration of market structure.
BTC is weaker but holding. ETH is softer but still better on the weekly view. Stablecoins remain the settlement layer. Tokenized stocks are accelerating. MiCA is already being stretched by non-EU issuers and tokenized deposits. ESMA is moving from licensing to custody supervision. DeFi dashboards are shutting down. Prediction markets are trying to become respectable again.
Crypto used to sell the idea that it would replace finance.
The more realistic version is more complicated:
Crypto is becoming a new wrapper around finance.
And once that happens, the hard questions are no longer only technical.
They are legal, operational and boring in the most expensive possible way.

1. Morning crypto market check - Zurich
Zurich time: 06:09, Tuesday, 7 July 2026.
Crypto starts the morning almost flat, but with plenty happening underneath.
CoinMarketCap shows the global crypto market cap around USD 2.18 trillion, down about 0.21% over 24h. Total 24h volume is around USD 86.64 billion, up sharply. BTC dominance is around 58.1%, ETH dominance around 9.8%, and Fear & Greed sits at 28/100.
So the market is not euphoric. It is liquid, cautious and still very selective.
That is often more interesting than a clean green day.
2. Top 10 coins by CryptoMarketCap ranking
Bitcoin (BTC) - USD 63,294.56 | 24h: +0.18% | trend: holding above USD 63k, but not breaking out with force.
Ethereum (ETH) - USD 1,774.53 | 24h: -0.06% | trend: almost flat, still stronger on the weekly view than today’s move suggests.
Tether USD (USDT) - USD 1.00 | 24h: +0.01% | trend: stable, still the main liquidity rail.
BNB (BNB) - USD 579.40 | 24h: -0.70% | trend: slightly softer, still regulatory-sensitive.
USDC (USDC) - USD 1.00 | 24h: -0.03% | trend: stable, increasingly institutional.
XRP (XRP) - USD 1.13 | 24h: -1.16% | trend: weaker today, still tied to payments and regulatory narratives.
Solana (SOL) - USD 81.19 | 24h: +0.76% | trend: one of the firmer large-cap names this morning.
TRON (TRX) - USD 0.330 | 24h: +0.41% | trend: resilient, helped by stablecoin settlement activity.
Hyperliquid (HYPE) - USD 70.36 | 24h: -1.79% | trend: still high-beta, cooling after recent strength.
Dogecoin (DOGE) - USD 0.0751 | 24h: -2.79% | trend: meme beta is soft this morning.
3. Five biggest CoinMarketCap Top 100 gainers
DeXe (DEXE) - USD 27.65 | 24h: +11.10% | volume: USD 64.77m.
Pyth Network (PYTH) - USD 0.0444 | 24h: +8.64% | volume: USD 78.56m.
Jito (JTO) - USD 0.7707 | 24h: +5.61% | volume: USD 59.43m.
LayerZero (ZRO) - USD 1.01 | 24h: +5.40% | volume: USD 44.93m.
VeChain (VET) - USD 0.004927 | 24h: +4.44% | volume: USD 19.44m.
Not a single clean narrative here. Governance, oracle/data infrastructure, staking, interoperability and enterprise-chain nostalgia are all moving at the same time.
Crypto remains allergic to neat categories.
4. Five biggest CoinMarketCap Top 100 losers
MemeCore (M) - USD 1.26 | 24h: -11.37% | volume: USD 22.05m.
Bonk (BONK) - USD 0.000004442 | 24h: -8.07% | volume: USD 124.45m.
Venice Token (VVV) - USD 11.28 | 24h: -5.86% | volume: USD 34.05m.
Worldcoin (WLD) - USD 0.3994 | 24h: -5.42% | volume: USD 229.54m.
Celestia (TIA) - USD 0.3758 | 24h: -4.99% | volume: USD 33.22m.
The loser board says something useful: meme names and identity/data-heavy narratives are under pressure, while infrastructure names are catching a bid.

The new-listing board keeps getting stranger: one DeFi-style token, one space-dog meme, and several derivative-style stock exposures on the same screen.
That is where crypto is going: micro-cap noise and tokenized TradFi plumbing side by side.
6. News watch - last 10 hours
US Bitcoin reserve still unresolved: CoinDesk reports that the White House is still evaluating the best structure for a federal Bitcoin reserve and separate digital-asset stockpile. The open issue is basic but important: who holds it, under what authority, and with what legislative backing?
South Korea reviews Polymarket: South Korean regulators are giving Polymarket a chance to explain its business before deciding whether to seek corrective action. The legal question is whether prediction markets cross into illegal online gambling. Same product, different jurisdiction, completely different legal risk.
Belgium flags unauthorized crypto platforms: Belgium’s FSMA warned against six crypto platforms allegedly operating without MiCA authorization. This is the post-MiCA world starting to look real: the licence is no longer a PDF in a data room. It is market access.
FCA publishes AI finance roadmap: The UK FCA released a roadmap on agentic AI in financial services, noting that stablecoins and tokenized deposits could become infrastructure for instant AI-driven settlement. AI agents may need programmable money faster than regulators are comfortable with.
CertiK says crypto losses fell, but risk did not disappear: CertiK says crypto losses fell 46.8% year-on-year to USD 1.32 billion in H1 2026, but warns this is not proof that the industry is safer. Wallet compromises overtook phishing in Q2, with attacks becoming more targeted.
https://t.co/thrfegFbel exploit remains relevant: Just outside the strict 10-hour window, https://t.co/thrfegFbel halted Lazy Summer vaults after an exploit of about USD 6 million. The reported attack used flash-loan mechanics to manipulate USDC vault accounting. DeFi still has a basic problem: yield automation can also automate hidden assumptions.
USDC gaining volume share: CoinDesk’s latest feed also flags Visa data showing USDC gaining against Tether in stablecoin volume. That is worth watching. The stablecoin race is no longer just supply. It is transaction quality, institutional use, banking access and compliance comfort.
No major fresh criminal judgment found: I did not find a major new crypto criminal conviction in the strict 10-hour scan. Today’s legal risk is regulatory perimeter, platform authorization, gambling classification, AI accountability and protocol security.
7. Altcoins, meme coins, stablecoins, CBDCs, NFTs and crypto baskets
Altcoins: SOL is the strongest top-10 name today. DEXE, PYTH, JTO and ZRO are leading the broader Top 100 gainers. Infrastructure is getting more attention than pure meme beta.
Meme coins: DOGE, BONK and MemeCore are all soft. ASTEROID is newly listed and moving, but new meme listings are usually more liquidity experiment than investment thesis.
Stablecoins: USDT and USDC remain close to peg. The more important story is USDC volume, MiCA authorization, reserve credibility, issuer supervision, redemption and use inside regulated settlement.
Prediction markets: Polymarket remains the cleanest example of how crypto products collide with gambling law, derivatives law, elections, sports and consumer protection. The product may be global. The law is not.
AI and programmable money: The FCA roadmap matters because it connects agentic AI with stablecoins and tokenized deposits. If AI agents start making financial decisions, settlement infrastructure becomes a regulatory issue, not just a tech issue.
CBDCs: No major new CBDC headline dominated the strict overnight window. The real action this morning is private digital money: stablecoins, tokenized deposits and AI-driven payments.
NFTs: NFT news is not driving the market today. NFT liquidity still follows ETH and SOL sentiment more than any single collection.
Crypto baskets: CoinMarketCap’s CMC20 is around USD 129.21, almost flat over 24h but up about 6.93% over seven days. CoinDesk’s CD20 is around 1,750, slightly lower. The basket signal is simple: the week looks better than the morning.
8. My read
This morning is not about a dramatic price move.
It is about the regulatory shape of the market.
BTC is steady. ETH is flat. SOL is holding up. Meme coins are soft. Infrastructure names are moving. Stablecoins are still becoming the real settlement layer.
But the important stories are legal:
A US Bitcoin reserve without a final structure. Polymarket facing gambling-law scrutiny in South Korea. Belgium enforcing MiCA authorization. The FCA preparing for AI agents that may need programmable money. CertiK warning that fewer losses do not mean fewer risks.
Crypto used to argue that it could route around institutions.
This morning looks different.
The next phase is not “outside the system”.
It is licenses, registers, reserve design, wallet security, AI accountability and the legal classification of markets that behave like everything at once.
That is less romantic.
It is also where the money is going.

1. Morning crypto market check - Zurich
Zurich time: 06:22, Monday, 6 July 2026.
Crypto starts the week in a better mood.
The global market cap is around USD 2.19 trillion, up roughly 0.74% over 24h. Trading volume is around USD 55.93 billion, while Bitcoin dominance remains close to 58%.
BTC briefly pushed toward USD 64k overnight before settling back. That sounds bullish, but there is a footnote: more than USD 450 million in short positions were reportedly liquidated as the rally accelerated.
In other words, some of the buying was optimism. Some of it was people being forced to buy.
Crypto markets do enjoy their nuances.
2. Top 10 coins by CryptoMarketCap ranking
Bitcoin (BTC) - USD 63,325.46 | 24h: +0.83% | trend: constructive, holding above USD 63k after the overnight short squeeze.
Ethereum (ETH) - USD 1,780.66 | 24h: +0.85% | trend: steadily improving, but still needs stronger independent momentum.
Tether (USDT) - USD 1.00 | 24h: -0.01% | trend: effectively stable, still the dominant liquidity rail.
BNB (BNB) - USD 584.75 | 24h: +2.40% | trend: one of the strongest large-cap moves this morning.
USDC (USDC) - USD 1.00 | 24h: +0.01% | trend: stable and increasingly integrated into institutional payment infrastructure.
XRP (XRP) - USD 1.15 | 24h: +0.78% | trend: constructive, but still closely tied to payments and regulatory narratives.
Solana (SOL) - USD 80.91 | 24h: +0.41% | trend: consolidating after recent strength.
TRON (TRX) - USD 0.329 | 24h: +1.31% | trend: steady, supported by its importance in stablecoin settlement.
Hyperliquid (HYPE) - USD 71.47 | 24h: +3.50% | trend: strongest top-10 performer, but still very much a high-beta trade.
Dogecoin (DOGE) - USD 0.0774 | 24h: +1.79% | trend: recovering, although the wider meme sector tells a less cheerful story.
3. Five biggest CoinMarketCap Top 100 gainers
Lighter (LIT) - USD 2.68 | 24h: +22.48% | volume: USD 111.68m.

DeXe (DEXE) - USD 25.10 | 24h: +7.84% | volume: USD 24.32m.
LayerZero (ZRO) - USD 0.9569 | 24h: +6.09% | volume: USD 21.24m.
Sun [New] (SUN) - USD 0.01789 | 24h: +5.78% | volume: USD 78.85m.
There is no single theme here. Leverage infrastructure, memecoin issuance, governance and interoperability are all moving at once.
A normal Monday in crypto, apparently.
4. Five biggest CoinMarketCap Top 100 losers
OFFICIAL TRUMP (TRUMP) - USD 1.67 | 24h: -6.35% | volume: USD 198.90m.
币安人生 - USD 0.7232 | 24h: -3.62% | volume: USD 16.99m.
Bonk (BONK) - USD 0.000004837 | 24h: -2.80% | volume: USD 43.85m.
Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (FET) - USD 0.1724 | 24h: -2.37% | volume: USD 134.77m.
Terra Classic (LUNC) - USD 0.00006142 | 24h: -1.76% | volume: USD 11.82m.
The interesting point is that the loser board is relatively mild. This looks more like rotation than liquidation.

The new-listing board continues to become increasingly strange.
An AI token up 178% sits next to derivative representations of Caterpillar and Texas Instruments.
Crypto used to tokenize money. Now it apparently wants the entire Bloomberg Terminal.
6. News watch - last 10 hours
Bitcoin short squeeze: BTC moved close to USD 64,000, with more than USD 450 million in shorts reportedly liquidated. The rally followed weaker US jobs data and lower expectations of tighter Fed policy. Constructive, yes. But forced buying is not the same thing as durable spot demand.
Bitcoin options turn bullish: July 8 BTC options positioning is becoming call-heavy ahead of the release of the FOMC minutes. Call volume reportedly stands at 6,065 contracts versus 3,465 puts, a put-call ratio of 0.57, with maximum pain around USD 63,000.
Kraken turns tokenized stocks into collateral: Eligible Kraken users can now use selected tokenized stocks and ETFs, including AAPLx, TSLAx, NVDAx, SPYx and QQQx, as collateral for leveraged trading. Tokenization is moving from representation to actual capital-market utility.
The legal detail matters: Kraken's xStock collateral eligibility differs by jurisdiction. Futures collateral is available to eligible users outside the US, including the EEA, while margin collateral excludes both the US and EEA. Tokenization may be global. Financial regulation remains stubbornly geographical.
CLARITY Act time pressure: CoinDesk reports that US lawmakers remain optimistic about crypto market-structure legislation before the midterms, but the legislative calendar is becoming increasingly tight. Crypto keeps moving 24/7. Congress continues to respect weekends, recesses and procedure.
Coinbase and the World Cup result that had not happened yet: Coinbase reportedly distributed an incorrect World Cup result before the match was played. Brian Armstrong said the company was looking into the issue. In a sector promoting prediction markets as information mechanisms, accidentally inventing the future is not ideal product positioning.
Meme coin retreat: Meme-coin dominance has fallen to around 3.7% of the altcoin market, its lowest share since February 2024. CryptoQuant data also indicates the number of meme-coin holders is at a three-year low. The meme supercycle seems to have misplaced some of its passengers.
Fraud and court watch: I did not find a major fresh crypto fraud conviction or new criminal judgment inside the strict overnight window. The more immediate risks this morning are leverage, data integrity, market structure and regulatory perimeter questions.
7. Altcoins, meme coins, stablecoins, CBDCs, NFTs and crypto baskets
Altcoins: HYPE and BNB are the strongest top-10 performers this morning, while LIT, DEXE and ZRO lead the broader Top 100 gainers. The CoinMarketCap Altcoin Season Index is around 53/100 - neither Bitcoin season nor full altseason. A market sitting on the fence.
Meme coins: DOGE is green and PUMP is among the biggest gainers, but TRUMP, BONK and the wider meme-sector dominance numbers tell a different story. Selective speculation is alive. The broad meme trade is not.
Stablecoins: USDT and USDC remain almost exactly at peg. No major new issuer event dominated the strict overnight window. The structural fight remains custody, reserves, redemption rights, distribution and regulatory access.
Tokenized assets: Kraken's move is more important than another tokenized stock launch. Once tokenized securities become collateral, they move from passive exposure into the machinery of leverage, margin and liquidation. That is where market structure becomes legally serious.
CBDCs: No major new CBDC development dominated the strict last-10-hour window. For now, private stablecoins and tokenized collateral are moving considerably faster than most public digital-currency projects.
NFTs: No major NFT headline dominated the overnight window either. Pudgy Penguins' PENGU is positive, but NFT liquidity remains secondary to broader ETH and SOL sentiment.
Crypto baskets: CoinMarketCap's CMC20 is around USD 129, up roughly 0.6% over 24h and more than 7% over seven days. The basket tells a clearer story than today's quiet headline: the broader market recovery has been real, even if confidence remains cautious.
8. My read
This morning is a useful reminder that price is only one layer of the crypto market.
Bitcoin nearly touches USD 64k because shorts are forced to cover. Options traders position for the Fed minutes. Tokenized equities become collateral for leverage. Washington debates market structure. An exchange reportedly publishes a football result before the match happens. Meme coins quietly lose market share.
Different stories, same underlying question:
What happens when crypto stops being a separate asset class and starts becoming financial infrastructure?
The answer will not be decided only by blockchains.
It will be decided by collateral rules, margin models, market data, licensing boundaries, settlement rights and, occasionally, whether the football match has actually been played.

Sun [New] (SUN) - USD 0.01789 | 24h: +5.78% | volume: USD 78.85m.
There is no single theme here. Leverage infrastructure, memecoin issuance, governance and interoperability are all moving at once.
A normal Monday in crypto, apparently.

1. Morning crypto market check - Zurich
Zurich time: 06:43, Sunday, 5 July 2026.
Crypto is starting Sunday quietly positive, but the underlying picture is more interesting than the headline number.
The global crypto market cap is around USD 2.17 trillion, up only about 0.13% over 24h. Trading volume has fallen to around USD 52.64 billion, down roughly 18.5%, while BTC dominance remains high at 57.99%.
So the market is holding its recovery, but participation is lighter.
My simple read this morning: price stability is improving faster than conviction.
2. Top 10 coins by CoinMarketCap ranking
Bitcoin (BTC) - USD 62,794.97 | 24h: +0.40% | 7d: +4.41% | trend: steady recovery, but still consolidating rather than breaking out.
Ethereum (ETH) - USD 1,766.15 | 24h: +0.88% | 7d: +12.32% | trend: materially stronger than BTC over the week.
Tether (USDT) - USD 0.9991 | 24h: +0.01% | trend: effectively stable, still the main crypto liquidity rail.
BNB (BNB) - USD 570.52 | 24h: +0.15% | 7d: +2.30% | trend: mildly positive, but largely range-bound.
USDC (USDC) - USD 0.9998 | 24h: +0.01% | trend: stable and increasingly embedded in institutional payment infrastructure.
XRP (XRP) - USD 1.13 | 24h: +0.10% | 7d: +8.63% | trend: consolidating after a strong week.
Solana (SOL) - USD 80.46 | 24h: +2.89% | 7d: +13.82% | trend: one of the strongest large-cap assets on the board.
TRON (TRX) - USD 0.3242 | 24h: +0.20% | 7d: +0.65% | trend: stable and defensive, supported by its role in stablecoin settlement.
Hyperliquid (HYPE) - USD 68.82 | 24h: +3.71% | 7d: +10.89% | trend: strong momentum, but still a high-beta position.
Dogecoin (DOGE) - USD 0.07591 | 24h: +2.01% | 7d: +2.49% | trend: improving, but meme beta remains selective.
3. Five biggest CoinMarketCap Top 100 gainers
https://t.co/MLhlRpz76S (ETHFI) - USD 0.4122 | 24h: +10.13% | volume: USD 110.12m.
币安人生 - USD 0.7535 | 24h: +9.27% | volume: USD 40.44m.
Cardano (ADA) - USD 0.1920 | 24h: +7.54% | volume: USD 868.14m.
Bitcoin Cash (BCH) - USD 239.01 | 24h: +5.48% | volume: USD 151.43m.
Aerodrome Finance (AERO) - USD 0.5806 | 24h: +5.38% | volume: USD 40.70m.
The interesting one here is ADA. A Top 15 asset moving more than 7% with almost USD 900m in volume is a more meaningful market signal than a 200% move in a token with almost no liquidity.
4. Five biggest CoinMarketCap Top 100 losers
Venice Token (VVV) - USD 11.53 | 24h: -7.62% | volume: USD 50.69m.
MemeCore (M) - USD 1.46 | 24h: -6.87% | volume: USD 19.14m.
https://t.co/AoNC7DslCB (PUMP) - USD 0.001534 | 24h: -6.44% | volume: USD 51.43m.
SPX6900 (SPX) - USD 0.3954 | 24h: -6.05% | volume: USD 19.84m.
Worldcoin (WLD) - USD 0.4158 | 24h: -5.85% | volume: USD 260.35m.
Interesting contrast this morning: several speculative and narrative-heavy assets are on the loser board while ADA, ETHFI and BCH lead the gainers.
Not quite a flight to quality, perhaps. Crypto does not make that concept easy.

Only in crypto.
6. News watch - last 10 hours
Bitcoin back above USD 63k: Bitcoin briefly moved above USD 63,000 during thin July 4 trading, reaching its strongest level in more than a month. XRP was one of the stronger large-cap performers. The move is constructive, but holiday liquidity deserves caution.
Bitcoin whales vs Wall Street: Fresh reporting says large holders accumulated around USD 16.7 billion worth of Bitcoin while institutional and ETF-related flows remained under pressure. The interesting question is whether this is patient accumulation or simply a transfer of risk between different classes of holder.
Bitcoin ETF weakness continues: US Bitcoin ETFs reportedly recorded an eighth consecutive negative week, despite a significant positive inflow on Thursday. One good day does not reverse a persistent flow trend.
The quantum question gets political: Crypto figures are openly debating whether Satoshi Nakamoto's estimated 1.1 million BTC should eventually be frozen if quantum computing creates a credible theft risk. Technically fascinating. Legally and philosophically explosive.
Aptos security flaw: Ethical hackers reportedly used infrastructure costing only around USD 3,000 to identify a critical Aptos vulnerability. The flaw, now patched, reportedly allowed researchers to break a core security guarantee with a near-90% success rate under test conditions. Cheap attacks against expensive infrastructure are a compliance problem as much as an engineering problem.
Tokenization moves toward portfolio construction: A New York Life Investment Management executive argued that tokenization's next use case may be highly personalized portfolios rather than simply putting individual securities onchain. That is a more serious institutional idea than issuing another tokenized version of something already easy to trade.
Trump memecoin losses: Reporting based on blockchain data says nearly 1 million wallets are collectively down around USD 3.81 billion on the TRUMP memecoin. Whatever one's politics, this is a useful reminder that celebrity proximity is not an investment thesis.
No major fresh fraud judgment found in the strict 10-hour window: The most important risk story overnight was technical rather than judicial - the Aptos vulnerability. That distinction matters. Crypto losses often begin long before prosecutors enter the picture.
7. Altcoins, meme coins, stablecoins, CBDCs, NFTs and crypto baskets
Altcoins: ETH, SOL, HYPE, ADA and BCH are showing better momentum than BTC today. The CoinMarketCap Altcoin Season Index is around 53/100 - not a full altseason, but no longer a purely Bitcoin-dominated trade either.
Meme coins: DOGE is green, but PUMP, SPX6900 and MemeCore are on the loser board. That is a very crypto version of diversification: one meme goes up while three others remind you what the asset class is.
Stablecoins: USDT and USDC remain very close to their dollar pegs. The bigger theme remains institutional integration, reserve economics, sanctions screening, redemption and the growing competition for distribution.
Tokenized assets: The CoinMarketCap new-listing board continues to fill with tokenized or derivative representations of public and private equities. The real question is no longer whether securities can be tokenized. It is what exactly the token holder legally owns.
Bitcoin security: The Satoshi/quantum debate is important beyond quantum computing. It asks a deeper governance question: can a supposedly neutral protocol legitimately immobilize property because the community thinks the owner is absent or at risk?
CBDCs: I found no major new CBDC development in the strict overnight window. The more active contest remains private stablecoins, tokenized deposits and regulated settlement networks.
NFTs: No major NFT story dominated the strict overnight scan either. NFT liquidity remains closely tied to ETH and SOL sentiment, while the more serious institutional attention has shifted toward tokenized financial assets.
Crypto baskets: CoinMarketCap's CMC20 is around USD 128.50, up about 0.57% over 24h and 6.39% over seven days. That is a useful reminder that the broader market recovery has been stronger over the week than today's quiet headline suggests.
8. My read
This morning is a useful snapshot of where crypto is heading.
BTC is recovering. ETH and SOL are outperforming. ADA is having a strong day. Some meme coins are rising while others are falling hard. ETFs remain under pressure. Whales are apparently buying. Tokenization is moving from simple asset replication toward portfolio construction.
And then there is the quantum debate.
Should an open protocol protect dormant assets from a future technological threat? Who decides? Developers? Miners? Node operators? Exchanges? Courts?
Crypto started with the idea that trusted intermediaries could be removed.
The more interesting question in 2026 is what happens when the protocol itself has to make a judgment call.
Code may be law.
But governance decides which code gets written.

1. Morning crypto market check - Zurich
Zurich time: 06:28, Saturday, 4 July 2026.
Crypto starts the morning greener, but still not relaxed.
CoinMarketCap shows the global crypto market cap around USD 2.17 trillion, up about 1.93% over 24h. Total 24h volume is around USD 64.7 billion. BTC dominance is around 57.9%, ETH dominance around 9.8%, and Fear & Greed is still only 25/100.
Kraken also shows a stronger market tape, with global crypto market cap around USD 2.23 trillion, up about 0.94%, and trading bias around 78.9% buying versus 21.1% selling.
So the market is clearly repairing. But sentiment is still cautious. This is relief, not complacency.
2. Top 10 coins by CoinMarketCap ranking
Bitcoin (BTC) - USD 62,607.90 | 24h: +2.13% | trend: back above USD 62k, stronger but still rebuilding confidence.
Ethereum (ETH) - USD 1,753.34 | 24h: +2.92% | trend: strong rebound, now trading with institutional ETH and staking narratives again.
Tether (USDT) - USD 0.9990 | 24h: +0.04% | trend: close to peg, still the main liquidity rail.
BNB (BNB) - USD 571.52 | 24h: +2.06% | trend: firmer, but still regulatory-sensitive in Europe.
USDC (USDC) - USD 0.9998 | 24h: +0.02% | trend: close to peg, increasingly embedded in institutional rails.
XRP (XRP) - USD 1.13 | 24h: +4.50% | trend: strong bounce, still payments- and regulation-sensitive.
Solana (SOL) - USD 82.75 | 24h: +2.75% | trend: solid large-cap strength, still a high-beta Layer 1 signal.
TRON (TRX) - USD 0.3235 | 24h: +2.01% | trend: resilient, helped by stablecoin settlement flows.
Hyperliquid (HYPE) - USD 71.38 | 24h: +7.43% | trend: strongest top-10 move, but still high-beta and regulatory-sensitive.
Dogecoin (DOGE) - USD 0.07726 | 24h: +3.58% | trend: meme beta is green again, but not the only story today.
3. Five biggest CoinMarketCap Top 100 gainers
Bonk (BONK) - USD 0.000005092 | 24h: +16.26% | volume: USD 63.21m.
Pepe (PEPE) - USD 0.000002825 | 24h: +15.01% | volume: USD 286.74m.
https://t.co/MLhlRpz76S (ETHFI) - USD 0.3726 | 24h: +12.11% | volume: USD 55.20m.
Celestia (TIA) - USD 0.4049 | 24h: +9.90% | volume: USD 59.75m.
SPX6900 (SPX) - USD 0.4162 | 24h: +9.87% | volume: USD 28.49m.
4. Five biggest CoinMarketCap Top 100 losers
Audiera (BEAT) - USD 2.73 | 24h: -11.02% | volume: USD 25.41m.
Venice Token (VVV) - USD 12.45 | 24h: -9.87% | volume: USD 30.08m.
MemeCore (M) - USD 1.58 | 24h: -3.96% | volume: USD 22.99m.
World Liberty Financial (WLFI) - USD 0.05645 | 24h: -2.28% | volume: USD 49.71m.
Morpho (MORPHO) - USD 1.99 | 24h: -2.01% | volume: USD 21.89m.
The loser board is modest compared with the gainer board. That usually means the market is not in broad liquidation mode. It is rotating.

The recent-listing board is again a strange mix: one extreme AI-token move and several tokenized stock-style products. That is not ordinary altcoin risk. It is liquidity risk, issuer risk, legal-wrapper risk and market-data risk.
6. News watch - last 10 hours / fresh overnight flow
US memecoin ethics proposal: Senator Kirsten Gillibrand proposed barring elected officials, the US president and their spouses from issuing or sponsoring digital assets. The direct target is obvious: political memecoins are becoming a governance problem, not only a market curiosity.
Trump crypto windfall: Trump defended around USD 1.4 billion in crypto-related income while in office, saying there was “nothing wrong” with it. The legal issue is not only whether something is prohibited. It is whether crypto policy is being shaped while private crypto exposure is financially material.
CLARITY Act timeline moves again: Senator Bill Hagerty’s roadmap revived expectations that final CLARITY Act text could be released before a post-recess vote. Bloomberg Intelligence reportedly puts the chance of July passage around 60%. The market wants certainty. Congress is still giving process.
Prediction markets face another legal squeeze: ESMA warned that many event contracts may already fall under existing EU restrictions on binary options. In the US, Kalshi and Polymarket remain under scrutiny. Prediction markets are becoming the perfect legal mess: derivatives, gambling, speech, sports, politics and retail protection in one product.
Spotify vs Kalshi / Polymarket: Spotify reportedly demanded that Kalshi and Polymarket remove its logo after more than 500,000 artificial streams allegedly influenced a market tied to Spotify music charts. This is the problem with prediction markets: if the reference data can be gamed, the market can be gamed.
Russian stablecoin A7A5 under scrutiny: CoinDesk reports that the sanctioned ruble-backed stablecoin A7A5 claims it processes billions, while blockchain analytics firms dispute the scale and say volumes have fallen sharply. Stablecoins are not just payment instruments. They are sanctions, liquidity, analytics and narrative control.
MiCA register expands: ESMA’s first post-deadline MiCA register update added 37 CASPs, including Standard Chartered and FalconX. The interim register now lists 280 CASPs. MiCA is no longer a future deadline. It is the access layer for regulated crypto in Europe.
Phishing and crypto laundering: Belgian police arrested a suspected phishing-gang leader tied to more than USD 572k in stolen funds and alleged crypto laundering. This came just outside the strict 10-hour window, but it is too relevant to ignore: the weak point is often not the smart contract. It is the human being.
7. Altcoins, meme coins, stablecoins, CBDCs, NFTs and crypto baskets
Altcoins: ETH, XRP, SOL, HYPE, ADA, ZEC and XLM are all showing strength. The bounce is broader than BTC today.
Meme coins: BONK and PEPE lead the Top 100 gainers, DOGE is also green, while SPX6900 is strong. Meme liquidity is clearly back, but still very selective.
Stablecoins: USDT and USDC remain close to peg. The more important stablecoin story is regulation, sanctions screening, issuer credibility, banking access, redemption rights and reserve economics.
Tokenized securities: CoinMarketCap’s recent listings again show tokenized stock and derivative-style products. This is where crypto market data is starting to blend with securities-market infrastructure.
Prediction markets: Spotify/Kalshi and ESMA show the same issue from two sides: market design is legal design. Bad reference data becomes market manipulation risk.
Privacy coins: ZEC is up strongly and XMR remains relevant. Privacy is not dead, but it sits uneasily beside sanctions enforcement and regulated exchange access.
CBDCs: No major fresh CBDC headline dominated the strict overnight scan. The active battlefield remains private stablecoins, tokenized deposits, tokenized securities and payment rails.
NFTs: NFT news is not driving the market this morning. NFT liquidity still follows ETH/SOL more than any single collection.
Crypto baskets: CoinMarketCap’s CMC20 is around USD 126.02, up about 3.18% over 24h. CoinDesk’s CD20 is around 1,742.81, up about 2.64%. Baskets show a real relief bounce, not just one isolated coin move.
8. My read
This morning looks better on price, but stranger on structure.
BTC is above USD 62k. ETH is rebounding. Meme coins are alive again. HYPE is strong. Stablecoins remain the settlement layer. Tokenized stocks keep appearing in crypto market data.
But the legal layer is the real story: political memecoins, presidential crypto income, CLARITY Act timing, ESMA’s prediction-market warning, Spotify’s complaint over gamed reference data, MiCA licensing and sanctioned stablecoin volumes.
Crypto used to ask whether finance would move onchain.
Now the harder question is becoming: who controls the rails, the data, the licence, the issuer, the reserve and the reference event?
That is less catchy than a green candle.
It is also much closer to the market we are actually getting.

1. Morning crypto market check - Zurich
Zurich time: 05:14, Friday, 3 July 2026.
Crypto is finally showing some green again.
CoinMarketCap shows the global crypto market cap around USD 2.12 trillion, up about 1.75% over 24h. Total 24h volume is around USD 87.49 billion, BTC dominance is around 57.88%, ETH dominance around 9.7%, and Fear & Greed is still only 22/100.
That is the important part: prices are recovering, but sentiment is still cautious. This looks like relief, not euphoria.
2. Top 10 coins by CoinMarketCap ranking
Bitcoin (BTC) - USD 61,347.51 | 24h: +1.60% | trend: back above USD 61k, but still repairing the recent drawdown.
Ethereum (ETH) - USD 1,701.90 | 24h: +5.05% | trend: strong large-cap rebound, helped by institutional Ethereum narratives.
Tether (USDT) - USD 0.9988 | 24h: +0.02% | trend: close to peg, still the main liquidity rail.
BNB (BNB) - USD 560.43 | 24h: +1.76% | trend: firmer, but still sensitive to regulatory and exchange-access news.
USDC (USDC) - USD 0.9998 | 24h: 0.00% | trend: stable, increasingly embedded in institutional payment rails.
XRP (XRP) - USD 1.08 | 24h: +2.75% | trend: constructive, but still tied to payments and legal/regulatory sentiment.
Solana (SOL) - USD 80.70 | 24h: +3.05% | trend: strong, still one of the main high-beta Layer 1 signals.
TRON (TRX) - USD 0.3169 | 24h: +0.22% | trend: stable, still important for stablecoin settlement flows.
Hyperliquid (HYPE) - USD 66.59 | 24h: +5.85% | trend: strongest top-10 move, but still high-beta and regulatory-sensitive.
Dogecoin (DOGE) - USD 0.07442 | 24h: +2.51% | trend: meme beta is green again, but not leading the whole market.
3. Five biggest CoinMarketCap Top 100 gainers
MemeCore (M) - USD 1.61 | 24h: +29.50% | volume: USD 28.95m.
Sky (SKY) - USD 0.05983 | 24h: +14.08% | volume: USD 26.82m.
Uniswap (UNI) - USD 3.21 | 24h: +13.76% | volume: USD 310.52m.
Audiera (BEAT) - USD 3.18 | 24h: +13.13% | volume: USD 34.66m.
Worldcoin (WLD) - USD 0.4217 | 24h: +13.09% | volume: USD 412.81m.
4. Five biggest current losers
dYdX (DYDX) - USD 0.1329 | 24h: -38.07%.
Morpho (MORPHO) - USD 2.04 | 24h: -4.84%.
Kite (KITE) - USD 0.1058 | 24h: -4.14%.
Backpack (BP) - USD 0.5980 | 24h: -3.67%.
Fartcoin (FARTCOIN) - USD 0.1384 | 24h: -3.66%.
The loser board is much less dramatic than the gainer board today. That usually tells me the market is not in broad liquidation mode. It is rotating.

Teradyne, Inc. Common Stock Derivatives (TER) - USD 388.09 | 24h: +8.61% | Own Blockchain | added 15 hours ago.
Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. Common Stock Derivatives (TTWO) - USD 254.83 | 24h: +1.25% | Own Blockchain | added 15 hours ago.
The new-listing board is again dominated by tokenized stock-style products. That is not normal altcoin risk. It is securities wrapper risk, issuer risk, liquidity risk, custody risk and jurisdictional risk.
6. News watch - last 10 hours
IMF on tokenization: The IMF says tokenization could reshape settlement and market infrastructure, but also warns about fragmented standards, smart-contract risk and new systemic dependencies. Translation: tokenization is no longer a crypto niche. It is now a financial-stability topic.
Russia digital ruble: Russia’s central bank says the digital ruble rollout remains on track for 1 September 2026. The EU has already preemptively sanctioned the digital ruble. CBDCs are becoming geopolitical infrastructure, not just payment experiments.
OFAC / ISIS-K wallets: OFAC sanctioned 134 crypto wallet addresses linked to ISIS-K, including 131 Tron addresses. Tether froze balances connected to those Tron addresses. This is a clear reminder that stablecoin issuers are now part of sanctions enforcement architecture.
Standard Chartered and Circle: Standard Chartered and Circle are bringing USDC minting and redemption onto bank-led institutional rails, starting in Dubai’s DIFC. Stablecoins are moving from exchange collateral into regulated banking workflows.
Ondo and tokenized equity voting: Ondo is adding shareholder voting and corporate communication rights to tokenized equities through Broadridge. This matters because tokenized stocks without governance rights are not quite stocks in the traditional sense.
Solana governance: The Solana Foundation launched a framework for protocol-level governance. Validators with at least 100,000 delegated SOL can publish proposals. The question is whether onchain governance becomes real coordination or just a formal wrapper around validator politics.
Aave on Monad: Aave V3 launched on Monad with 12 supported assets and a USD 15 million first-year incentive plan. DeFi is still expanding, but incentives remain the old question: do users stay when the subsidies fade?
FBI director / Strategy disclosure: Reporting says FBI Director Kash Patel disclosed Strategy holdings late, worth between USD 100,001 and USD 250,000, after an earlier omission. Crypto political-financial conflicts are no longer theoretical. They are disclosure issues.
SBI Crypto mining pool closure: SBI Crypto will shut down its Bitcoin mining pool on 31 July 2026 after more than five years. It reportedly held around 2.2% of Bitcoin hashrate. Mining is also infrastructure concentration, not just hashpower.
Yield-bearing stablecoins: Yield-bearing stablecoin supply reportedly fell 15% in Q2, while Treasury-backed products continued to grow. That says a lot about where institutional demand is going: less “crypto yield”, more regulated collateral.
7. Altcoins, meme coins, stablecoins, CBDCs, NFTs and crypto baskets
Altcoins: ETH, SOL, HYPE, UNI, WLD and ADA are showing strong relief momentum. This is broader than BTC today.
Meme coins: DOGE is green, MemeCore is the strongest Top 100 gainer, and Fartcoin is on the loser board. Meme liquidity is back, but still selective and brutally unstable.
Stablecoins: USDT and USDC remain close to peg. The real story is issuer control, sanctions freezing, bank-led minting, redemption, reserve income and institutional distribution.
Tokenized securities: Recent listings and the Ondo/Broadridge move show that tokenized stocks are no longer just synthetic price exposure. The next fight is shareholder rights, custody, disclosure and settlement finality.
CBDCs: The digital ruble story is important because it shows CBDCs are also sanctions, geopolitics and payment sovereignty. The digital euro and US anti-CBDC debate sit in the same wider tension.
Privacy coins: XMR and ZEC remain relevant because privacy sits uneasily next to sanctions enforcement. ZEC also remains in focus around its Tachyon and quantum-readiness narrative.
NFTs: NFT news is not driving the market this morning. NFT liquidity still follows ETH and SOL more than any collection-specific story.
Crypto baskets: CoinMarketCap’s CMC20 is around USD 124.72, up about 2.34% over 24h. CoinDesk’s CD20 is around USD 1,700, up about 3%. Baskets show a real relief bounce, but not yet a fully repaired market.
8. My read
This morning is not just about green candles.
It is about crypto becoming part of the operating system of finance.
Tokenized stocks are showing up in market data. Ondo is adding shareholder voting. Standard Chartered is putting USDC into banking rails. OFAC is sanctioning wallet addresses. Tether is freezing funds. Russia is preparing a CBDC launch. Aave is expanding lending infrastructure. Solana is formalizing protocol governance.
The market is bouncing.
But the deeper story is that crypto is being pulled into law, banking, sanctions, custody, governance and settlement.
That is less romantic than decentralization slogans.
It is also much closer to the real future of the sector.

1. Morning crypto market check - Zurich
Zurich time: 06:52, Thursday, 2 July 2026.
Crypto starts the morning with a relief bounce, but still not with real comfort.
CoinMarketCap shows the global crypto market cap around USD 2.1 trillion, up about 2.04% over 24h. Total 24h volume is around USD 85.05 billion, BTC dominance is around 58.1%, ETH dominance around 9.4%, and Fear & Greed is still only 20/100.
So yes, prices are green. But sentiment is still in fear. That usually means the market is repairing, not celebrating.
2. Top 10 coins by CoinMarketCap ranking
Bitcoin (BTC) - USD 60,684.74 | 24h: +2.63% | trend: back above USD 60k, but still needs follow-through.
Ethereum (ETH) - USD 1,629.72 | 24h: +2.43% | trend: recovering, helped by institutional Ethereum headlines.
Tether (USDT) - USD 0.9988 | 24h: +0.04% | trend: close to peg, still the main liquidity rail.
BNB (BNB) - USD 552.42 | 24h: +0.41% | trend: slightly positive, but still regulatory-sensitive in Europe.
USDC (USDC) - USD 0.9997 | 24h: +0.01% | trend: stable, increasingly central to regulated settlement.
XRP (XRP) - USD 1.06 | 24h: +1.07% | trend: modestly firmer, still payments- and regulation-sensitive.
Solana (SOL) - USD 78.11 | 24h: +3.51% | trend: strongest large-cap move in the top 10.
TRON (TRX) - USD 0.3159 | 24h: +0.14% | trend: flat but resilient, helped by stablecoin settlement use.
Hyperliquid (HYPE) - USD 63.34 | 24h: +3.42% | trend: strong rebound, still high-beta.
Dogecoin (DOGE) - USD 0.07296 | 24h: +0.75% | trend: slightly green, but meme beta is not leading the market.
3. Five biggest CoinMarketCap Top 100 gainers

4. Five biggest CoinMarketCap Top 100 losers
Audiera (BEAT) - USD 2.84 | 24h: -20.27% | volume: USD 66.00m.
Worldcoin (WLD) - USD 0.3786 | 24h: -8.79% | volume: USD 403.66m.
Velvet (VELVET) - USD 1.48 | 24h: -4.99% | volume: USD 20.77m.
Injective (INJ) - USD 4.56 | 24h: -3.36% | volume: USD 106.29m.
Hyperliquid (HYPE) - USD 63.53 | 24h: -3.12% on the losers board snapshot | volume: USD 556.33m.
Note: HYPE appears positive in the main ranking but negative in the CoinMarketCap loser snapshot. That likely reflects update timing differences between tables. I would double-check HYPE immediately before posting.

6. News watch - last 10 hours / overnight flow
Ethereum Institutional launches: A new nonprofit backed by Joe Lubin, BitMine and SharpLink launched to accelerate institutional Ethereum adoption. The stated aim is education, standards and coordination with banks and asset managers. Ethereum is trying to move from infrastructure narrative to institutional operating layer.
MiCA transition period ends: Europe’s MiCA transition period has now ended, with a last wave of CASP authorizations across EU member states. ESMA’s interim register reportedly showed 244 authorized CASPs across the EU and EEA. MiCA is no longer “coming”. It is now market structure.
Taiwan passes crypto and stablecoin laws: Taiwan passed its first comprehensive crypto and stablecoin framework. The rules include licensing for platforms, reserve and audit requirements for stablecoin issuers, and penalties for fraud and manipulation. That is Asia moving toward formal perimeter-setting.
Robinhood launches public blockchain: Robinhood launched the public mainnet for Robinhood Chain, an Arbitrum-based L2 for tokenized real-world assets and DeFi. It also rolled out tokenized stock products in more than 120 countries and introduced a self-custody lending product using USDG. Brokerage, exchange, wallet and DeFi are becoming one interface.
Tradeweb tokenized US Treasury transaction: Tradeweb executed a real-time tokenized US Treasury transaction on Canton Network, with Franklin Templeton transferring a tokenized Treasury to Virtu Financial against USDCx. That is not hype. That is institutional settlement plumbing.
Goliath Ventures guilty plea: Christopher Delgado, former CEO of Goliath Ventures, pleaded guilty in a USD 400 million crypto Ponzi case. Prosecutors said investor funds were used for luxury properties, vehicles, watches, bags and jewelry. The old rule still applies: if the return is guaranteed, start by assuming the risk is hidden somewhere else.
Citi cuts BTC and ETH targets: Citi cut its 12-month Bitcoin target to USD 82,000 from USD 112,000 and its Ether target to USD 2,240 from USD 3,175, citing weak ETF flows, slow US legislation and weaker investor appetite. The ETF wrapper did not remove crypto cyclicality. It made it easier to measure.
7. Altcoins, meme coins, stablecoins, CBDCs, NFTs and crypto baskets
Altcoins: SOL, HYPE, MORPHO, JUP and LIT are showing strength. ETH is improving, but still needs stronger confirmation.
Meme coins: DOGE is only slightly green, while MemeCore is today’s strongest Top 100 mover. Meme liquidity is alive, but still very selective.
Stablecoins: USDT and USDC remain close to peg. The more important story is USDCx, USDG, Taiwans stablecoin rules and the growing fight over reserve income, redemption and distribution.
Tokenized securities: The new-listing board says it clearly: tokenized stocks and tokenized Treasuries are now part of the crypto market data feed. This is no longer just “coins”. It is securities market infrastructure trying to become programmable.
Privacy coins: ZEC and XMR remain relevant because privacy sits at the edge of regulated finance. ZEC is also still in focus around scalability and quantum-readiness discussions.
CBDCs: No major fresh CBDC headline dominated the overnight scan. The active policy fight today is private stablecoins, tokenized deposits, tokenized securities and regulated payment rails.
NFTs: NFT news is not driving the market this morning. NFT liquidity still follows ETH and SOL more than any single collection story.
Crypto baskets: CoinMarketCap’s CMC20 is around USD 122.69, up about 2.44% over 24h. CoinDesk’s CD20 is around 1,664, up about 2.2%. Baskets show a relief bounce, not yet a full recovery.
8. My read
The market is green, but the interesting part is not the green.
The interesting part is what is becoming crypto.
Tokenized stocks. Tokenized Treasuries. Stablecoin settlement. Broker-led chains. MiCA licenses. Taiwan’s stablecoin perimeter. Ethereum institutional coordination. DeFi lending inside consumer finance apps. Ponzi cases still reminding everyone why basic skepticism matters.
Crypto used to ask whether finance would move onchain.
This morning’s news suggests a different question:
Which parts of finance are moving onchain first, and under whose legal wrapper?
That is where the next fight is.

1. Morning crypto market check - Zurich
Zurich time: 06:14, Wednesday, 1 July 2026.
Crypto starts July with a strange mix: slightly better price action in parts of the board, but still a weak broader market.
CoinMarketCap shows the global crypto market cap around USD 2.05 trillion, down about 0.65% over 24h. Total 24h volume is around USD 79.97 billion. BTC dominance is around 57.61%.
Kraken’s market view still shows heavy buying bias, around 76.9% buying versus 23.1% selling.
So the market is not dead. But it is not comfortable either. It feels like cautious dip-buying inside a still damaged structure.
2. Top 10 coins by CoinMarketCap ranking
Bitcoin (BTC) - USD 59,113.96 | 24h: +0.71% | trend: holding near USD 59k, but still below the cleaner USD 60k comfort zone.
Ethereum (ETH) - USD 1,593.10 | 24h: +0.48% | trend: modest rebound, but ETH still needs stronger follow-through.
Tether (USDT) - USD 0.9984 | 24h: +0.02% | trend: close to peg, still the main liquidity rail.
BNB (BNB) - USD 550.57 | 24h: +0.59% | trend: slightly firmer, but still regulatory-sensitive.
USDC (USDC) - USD 0.9995 | 24h: 0.00% | trend: close to peg, increasingly institutional.
XRP (XRP) - USD 1.04 | 24h: +0.09% | trend: flat, still tied to payments and regulatory narratives.
Solana (SOL) - USD 75.20 | 24h: +1.27% | trend: strongest large-cap move in the top 10.
TRON (TRX) - USD 0.3159 | 24h: +1.08% | trend: resilient, helped by stablecoin settlement flows.
Hyperliquid (HYPE) - USD 65.52 | 24h: +0.41% | trend: still strong, still high-beta, still watched by regulators.
Dogecoin (DOGE) - USD 0.07221 | 24h: +0.20% | trend: mild bounce, but meme beta is not leading today.

The interesting point is not only that these are “new crypto listings”. Many of them are tokenized equity or pre-IPO exposures. That is a different risk category from normal altcoins: legal wrapper, issuer dependency, market data, liquidity and transfer restrictions matter more than the ticker.
6. News watch - last 10 hours
UK investors sue Binance and Changpeng Zhao: Nearly 1,700 UK investors are reportedly suing Binance and CZ for around GBP 150 million / USD 200 million, alleging Binance offered derivatives without regulatory approval. Binance says it will defend the claims.
Netflix / DOGE fraud sentence: “47 Ronin” director Carl Rinsch received 30 months in prison after prosecutors said he misused Netflix production funds, including speculative crypto trades. The odd detail: he reportedly made about USD 27 million on Dogecoin, then spent heavily on luxury goods. Crypto did not create the fraud, but it made the story more absurd.
Kalshi litigation continues: Massachusetts obtained permission to amend its complaint against Kalshi, adding allegations around sports-event contracts and younger users. Prediction markets are becoming one of the hardest regulatory puzzles: derivatives, gambling, speech, sports and consumer protection in one box.
SEC rethinks novel ETFs: The SEC opened a public consultation on how to regulate novel ETF structures, including funds linked to crypto, event contracts and new strategies. ETF law is becoming a policy laboratory for tokenization, staking and alternative exposure.
OpenUSD stablecoin consortium: More than 140 companies, including Visa, Mastercard, Coinbase, Ripple, OKX and Bybit, are supporting a planned US dollar stablecoin project that shares reserve earnings with participants. The immediate message: stablecoin competition is shifting from “who issues the coin?” to “who owns distribution?”
Nasdaq data goes onchain through Pyth: Nasdaq selected Pyth to distribute TotalView market data to blockchain applications. That is not a meme headline. It is market infrastructure moving toward onchain rails.
Crypto political spending rises: Public Citizen says crypto companies have spent about USD 189 million so far in the 2026 US election cycle. Crypto regulation is no longer just lobbying around the edges. It is mainstream political finance.
7. Altcoins, meme coins, stablecoins, CBDCs, NFTs and crypto baskets
Altcoins: SOL, XLM, PYTH, JTO and TRX are showing relative strength. ETH is positive, but not convincing yet.
Meme coins: DOGE is only slightly green, while MemeCore is today’s strongest Top 100 mover. Meme liquidity is active again, but still extremely selective.
Stablecoins: USDT and USDC remain close to peg. The real story is OpenUSD, USDC custody rails, reserve economics, redemption, issuer supervision and distribution power.
Tokenized equities: Today’s new CoinMarketCap listings are heavily tokenized-stock style products. That is not just crypto speculation; it is securities-market infrastructure trying to appear inside crypto market data.
Privacy coins: ZEC and XMR remain relevant because privacy still sits uncomfortably at the edge of regulated finance. Zcash also remains in focus with its Tachyon upgrade and quantum-readiness discussion.
CBDCs: No major fresh CBDC headline dominated the overnight scan. The active battlefield is private stablecoins, tokenized deposits and regulated payment rails.
NFTs: NFT news is not driving the market this morning. Liquidity still follows ETH/SOL more than any single collection.
Crypto baskets: CoinMarketCap’s CMC20 is around USD 119.54, up about 1.08% over 24h. CoinDesk’s CD20 is around 1,625.50, up about 0.28%. Baskets show relief, not a full recovery.
8. My read
This morning is not really about “crypto going up”.
It is about crypto becoming harder to separate from the rest of finance.
Top new listings are tokenized stocks. Nasdaq is putting market data onchain. Stablecoin issuers are becoming distribution businesses. The SEC is rethinking ETF structures. Binance is being sued over derivatives access. Kalshi is fighting over whether prediction markets are swaps, sports betting or something else entirely.
The market still likes simple stories.
The infrastructure no longer does.
Crypto is moving from “coin price” to custody, distribution, licensing, data rights, reserve economics, tokenized securities and political power.
That is less viral.
It is also where the real fight is.

1. Morning crypto market check - Zurich
Zurich time: 06:07, Tuesday, 30 June 2026.
Crypto is green in places, but the mood is still not relaxed.
CoinMarketCap shows the global crypto market cap around USD 2.07 trillion, slightly lower over 24h. Total 24h volume is around USD 77.99 billion, BTC dominance is around 57.93%, ETH dominance around 9.3%, and Fear & Greed is still at 17/100.
That is the awkward part of this market: prices can bounce while sentiment remains poor. It looks less like conviction and more like careful repositioning before the next regulatory and macro catalyst.
2. Top 10 coins by live market-cap ranking
Bitcoin (BTC) - USD 59,513.63 | 24h: -0.73% | trend: still fighting around the USD 60k level.
Ethereum (ETH) - USD 1,584.54 | 24h: +0.18% | trend: slightly firmer, but still weak over the broader period.
Tether (USDT) - USD 0.9983 | 24h: -0.05% | trend: close to peg, still the main liquidity rail.
BNB (BNB) - USD 553.75 | 24h: -0.12% | trend: broadly flat, but still under MiCA-related pressure in Europe.
USDC (USDC) - USD 0.9996 | 24h: -0.04% | trend: close to peg, increasingly institutional.
XRP (XRP) - USD 1.04 | 24h: -0.31% | trend: soft, still linked to payments and regulatory narratives.
Solana (SOL) - USD 74.24 | 24h: +2.29% | trend: strongest large-cap move this morning.
TRON (TRX) - USD 0.3194 | 24h: -0.71% | trend: softer, but still important for stablecoin settlement.
Hyperliquid (HYPE) - USD 65.86 | 24h: +5.12% | trend: strong rebound, still high-beta.
Dogecoin (DOGE) - USD 0.07233 | 24h: around -1% | trend: meme beta is not leading today.
3. Five biggest CoinMarketCap Top 100 gainers
Kaspa (KAS) - USD 0.0305 | 24h: +8.62% | volume: USD 17.21m.
Lighter (LIT) - USD 1.87 | 24h: +6.87% | volume: USD 50.57m.
DeXe (DEXE) - USD 23.07 | 24h: +6.71% | volume: USD 16.76m.
SPX6900 (SPX) - USD 0.3485 | 24h: +6.29% | volume: USD 8.25m.
Sky (SKY) - USD 0.05308 | 24h: +6.09% | volume: USD 19.27m.
4. Five biggest CoinMarketCap Top 100 losers
Jito (JTO) - USD 0.7354 | 24h: -13.11% | volume: USD 65.77m.
Velvet (VELVET) - USD 1.70 | 24h: -7.94% | volume: USD 56.96m.
Pi (PI) - USD 0.115 | 24h: -5.71% | volume: USD 16.92m.
Worldcoin (WLD) - USD 0.4133 | 24h: -5.04% | volume: USD 260.20m.
Algorand (ALGO) - USD 0.08515 | 24h: -4.88% | volume: USD 33.17m.
5. Recently added on CoinMarketCap
The Black Bull (ANSEM) - USD 0.133 | 24h: +16.90% | Solana | added 22 hours ago.
Helix AI (HLX) - USD 0.0446 | 24h: +9.01% | Ethereum | added 23 hours ago.
AssetFunds (ASSETFUNDS) - USD 0.005407 | 24h: +0.03% | Solana | added 2 days ago.
Buu (BUU) - USD 0.00006278 | 24h: +61.25% | BNB Chain | added 2 days ago.
SuperChin Token (SPCT) - USD 2.33 | 24h: +0.01% | Ethereum | added 3 days ago.
New listings are the noisiest part of the board. The question is not only “what does it do?” The better first question is: who is trading it, with what liquidity, and through which contract?
6. News watch - last 10 hours / fresh overnight flow
BNY moves deeper into USDC: BNY is adding USDC minting, redemption, custody and transfer functionality to its digital-asset platform. This is a serious institutional signal. Stablecoins are moving from exchange collateral into bank custody and settlement infrastructure.
Germany leads the MiCA licence race: Germany is ahead in MiCA crypto-asset service provider approvals as the EU deadline arrives. MiCA was sold as one European regime, but implementation still looks very national in practice.
Loopring shuts down its DEX: Loopring, one of Ethereum’s early zk-rollup pioneers, is closing its decentralized exchange and AMM after failing to gain enough adoption. Crypto often celebrates technical firsts. Markets reward distribution, liquidity and timing.
Strategy breaks the “never sell” spell: Strategy’s enterprise value has reportedly fallen below the value of its Bitcoin holdings, and the company has opened the door to Bitcoin sales, cash reserves and buybacks. That is a major shift in the corporate Bitcoin treasury story.
Bitcoin ETF outflows remain ugly: CoinDesk reports that US spot Bitcoin ETFs are on track for their worst month on record, with around USD 4 billion in June outflows. The ETF wrapper did not remove cyclicality. It just made the flows more visible.
Polymarket security issue still matters: Recent reporting on the Polymarket attack points to a third-party frontend/vendor compromise and around USD 3 million in user losses. The smart contract may work, but the user can still lose money at the interface. That distinction is legally important.
No major fresh criminal judgment found this morning: The legal story today is more about institutional custody, MiCA access, ETF flows, frontend security and corporate treasury stress than a new court ruling.
7. Altcoins, meme coins, stablecoins, CBDCs, NFTs and crypto baskets
Altcoins: SOL and HYPE are the clearest large-cap strength this morning. ETH is slightly green, but still not convincing.
Meme coins: DOGE is soft, while SPX6900 is one of the stronger Top 100 names. Meme liquidity is active, but very selective.
Stablecoins: USDT and USDC remain close to peg. The real story is not price stability today. It is custody, redemption, issuer supervision, AML and payment access.
Privacy coins: XMR and ZEC remain important in the policy debate. Privacy is still a use case, but regulated intermediaries will keep moving carefully.
CBDCs: No major new CBDC headline dominated the overnight scan. The live battle is still stablecoins, tokenized deposits and private payment rails.
NFTs: NFT news is not driving the market today. NFT sentiment remains mostly a derivative of ETH/SOL liquidity.
Crypto baskets: CoinMarketCap’s CMC20 is around USD 136.79, up about 5.78% over 24h. CoinDesk’s CD20 is around 1,627, slightly positive. Baskets show some relief, but not a clean broad recovery.
8. My read
The market is not dead. But it is being repriced by a different logic.
BTC is still fighting USD 60k. SOL and HYPE are showing strength. Stablecoins are becoming bank-grade infrastructure. MiCA is turning regulation into market access. ETF outflows show institutional money can leave as quickly as it arrived. Strategy now shows that even the purest Bitcoin treasury story eventually meets balance-sheet reality.
Crypto still likes simple slogans.
This morning is not simple.
It is custody, licensing, liquidity, redemption, frontend security, and capital structure.
That is less fun than “number go up”.
It is also probably where the real market is now being built.

1. Morning crypto market check - Zurich
Zurich time: 06:09, Monday, 29 June 2026.
Crypto starts the week fragile, but not dead.
CoinMarketCap shows sentiment deep in fear: Fear & Greed at 15/100, BTC dominance around 57.9%, ETH dominance around 9.2%. Kraken shows the global crypto market cap around USD 2.16 trillion, down about 0.37% over 24h.
Kraken’s trading bias is still interesting: 79.8% buying versus 20.2% selling.
So buyers are clearly there. But the market still feels defensive. This is not euphoria. It is damage control with some selective risk appetite.
2. Top 10 coins by Kraken market-cap ranking
Bitcoin (BTC) - USD 60,043 | 24h: +0.33% | trend: holding the USD 60k line, but still fragile.
Ethereum (ETH) - USD 1,574.45 | 24h: +0.32% | trend: slightly green, but still weak on the broader structure.
Tether (USDT) - USD 1.00 | 24h: +0.01% | trend: close to peg, still the main liquidity rail.
BNB (BNB) - USD 554.39 | 24h: +1.37% | trend: firmer than BTC and ETH this morning.
USDC (USDC) - USD 1.00 | 24h: 0.00% | trend: stable, still central for regulated settlement.
XRP (XRP) - USD 1.05 | 24h: +1.00% | trend: modestly stronger, still legally and payments-sensitive.
Solana (SOL) - USD 71.42 | 24h: +0.51% | trend: holding up, but still high-beta.
TRON (TRX) - USD 0.32 | 24h: +0.70% | trend: resilient because stablecoin settlement still matters.
Hyperliquid (HYPE) - USD 62.94 | 24h: +0.14% | trend: strong structurally, but regulatory attention remains relevant.
Dogecoin (DOGE) - USD 0.073 | 24h: +2.45% | trend: meme beta is bouncing, but not leading the whole market.
3. Five biggest current gainers
Solstice (SLX) - USD 0.52 | 24h: +16.44%.
https://t.co/AoNC7DslCB (PUMP) - USD 0.0015 | 24h: +15.19%.
UnifAI (UAI) - USD 0.31 | 24h: +5.52%.
EigenCloud (EIGEN) - USD 0.23 | 24h: +5.25%.
Jito (JTO) - USD 0.84 | 24h: +5.09%.
4. Five biggest current losers
Kite (KITE) - USD 0.1246 | 24h: -12.39%.
MemeCore (M) - USD 0.6464 | 24h: -10.50%.
Kinesis Gold (KAU) - USD 116.87 | 24h: -9.67%.
BUILDon (B) - USD 0.2266 | 24h: -6.88%.
AB (AB) - USD 0.0009884 | 24h: -6.82%.
5. New listing pipeline / recently visible listings
AmericanFortress (AF) - Kraken token-generation-event roadmap; no live trading price quoted yet.
Arcium (ARX) - Kraken token-generation-event roadmap; no live trading price quoted yet.
WEMIX (WEMIX) - Kraken blockchain/native-token listing roadmap; no live trading price quoted yet.
XRPL (XRPL) - Kraken chain integration roadmap; no live trading price quoted yet.
Aleo (ALEO) - Kraken chain integration roadmap; no live trading price quoted yet.
New listings are useful to watch, but they are usually the loudest and least reliable part of the market. Before the story, check liquidity. Before liquidity, check whether trading is actually live.
6. News watch - last 10 hours / overnight window
BIS warns on stablecoins: The Bank for International Settlements warned that the fast growth of stablecoins could fragment the monetary system and weaken sovereign monetary control. The BIS also pointed to vulnerabilities in reserve management and the risk that deposits could migrate from banks into private tokens.
Binance outflows before MiCA deadline: Binance recorded over USD 400 million in weekly net outflows as the EU MiCA transition deadline approaches. The number sounds large, but Cointelegraph also notes it is only a small fraction of Binance’s tracked assets. Still, the legal signal is clear: MiCA is now a business event, not just a regulation.
EU looks beyond MiCA: EU lawmakers are urging the European Commission to assess whether DeFi, staking, NFTs, lending and borrowing need further regulation. MiCA may be the beginning of EU crypto law, not the end.
Loopring closes its DEX: Loopring, once an early zk-rollup pioneer, is shutting down its DEX and automated market maker after failing to gain enough adoption. That is a quiet but important moment: being early in crypto is not the same as becoming infrastructure.
Dubai reaches 50 licensed crypto firms: Dubai’s VARA has granted its 50th VASP licence, with the latest approval going to tokenized-assets platform Tribe Tokenisation FZE. Dubai is still building the regulated-hub narrative, but the more serious question is always: how many licensed firms are actually operating at scale?
Digital euro debate returns: A new European policy debate around the digital euro is heating up. The key issues are holding limits, privacy, merchant fees and whether Europe wants public digital money to survive in a world of private stablecoins and US payment rails.
Fraud / scam / court watch: I did not find a major fresh fraud conviction or new criminal judgment in the scanned overnight window. The stronger legal stories this morning are regulatory access, stablecoin risk, DeFi/NFT perimeter-setting, licensing and infrastructure survival.
7. Altcoins, meme coins, stablecoins, CBDCs, NFTs and crypto baskets
Altcoins: SOL, XRP, BNB, DOGE, JTO and EIGEN are showing selective strength. ETH is green, but still structurally weak.
Meme coins: DOGE is up, PUMP is one of the stronger gainers, but MemeCore is still among the weaker names. Meme liquidity is active, not healthy. There is a difference.
Stablecoins: USDT and USDC remain close to peg. The real story is reserves, redemption, issuer supervision, sanctions controls, AML and whether private digital money starts competing with bank deposits.
Privacy coins: XMR and ZEC remain relevant because privacy-enhancing assets continue to sit at the edge of regulated markets. Privacy is not gone. It is just becoming harder to intermediate.
CBDCs: The digital euro debate is back in focus. Europe still sees monetary sovereignty as a payment-infrastructure problem. The US debate remains more hostile to retail CBDCs.
NFTs: NFT news is not driving the market today, but EU lawmakers are again asking whether NFTs should remain outside the main regulatory perimeter.
Crypto baskets: CoinDesk’s CD20 is around 1,623.85, up about 0.25%, while the CoinDesk memecoin basket is up around 1.26%. CoinMarketCap’s CMC20 sits around USD 120. The basket signal says: mild relief, not a broad recovery.
8. My read
Crypto is starting the week with a small bounce and a large credibility test.
BTC is holding USD 60k. ETH is not breaking, but not convincing either. Stablecoins remain the real settlement layer. MiCA is forcing market structure decisions in Europe. BIS is warning that private digital money can become a monetary-system problem. Dubai is scaling licences. Loopring shows that even technically important projects can disappear if adoption never arrives.
Crypto still likes to say “code is law”.
This morning looks more like: licensing is market access, liquidity is survival, and regulation is becoming part of the product.
Disclaimer: This is for informational purposes only - not investment advice. Cryptocurrencies are speculative and volatile. Consult a licensed professional before acting. No offer, recommendation, or solicitation.
1. Morning crypto market check - Zurich
Zurich time: 06:07, Sunday, 28 June 2026.
Crypto is slightly green on the surface, but still fragile underneath. Kraken shows global crypto market cap around USD 2.15 trillion, down about 0.36% over 24h. Trading bias is again interesting: around 79.8% buying versus 20.2% selling.
CoinDesk’s CD20 index is still down about 0.92%, with BTC around USD 60.1k and ETH around USD 1.57k.
So this is not panic. But it is not confidence either. It looks like a market trying to repair damage after a very difficult week.
2. Top 10 coins by Kraken market-cap ranking
Bitcoin (BTC) - USD 59,951 | 24h: +0.06% | trend: holding the USD 60k line, but still psychologically fragile.
Ethereum (ETH) - USD 1,572.04 | 24h: +0.33% | trend: modest bounce, still weak on the broader trend.
Tether (USDT) - USD 1.00 | 24h: +0.01% | trend: close to peg, still the main liquidity rail.
BNB (BNB) - USD 556.63 | 24h: +1.86% | trend: stronger rebound than BTC and ETH.
USDC (USDC) - USD 1.00 | 24h: 0.00% | trend: stable, still central for regulated settlement.
XRP (XRP) - USD 1.05 | 24h: +0.05% | trend: flat, still legally and payments-sensitive.
Solana (SOL) - USD 70.50 | 24h: +1.77% | trend: firmer large-cap altcoin, still high beta.
TRON (TRX) - USD 0.32 | 24h: +0.19% | trend: resilient because stablecoin settlement still matters.
Hyperliquid (HYPE) - USD 61.90 | 24h: +3.86% | trend: strongest top-10 move, but regulatory optics remain relevant.
Dogecoin (DOGE) - USD 0.074 | 24h: +1.68% | trend: meme beta bounced, but not enough to change the broader picture.
3. Five biggest current gainers
Solstice (SLX) - USD 0.46 | 24h: +30.74%.
Syrup (SYRUP) - USD 0.14 | 24h: +20.77%.
dogwifhat (WIF) - USD 0.16 | 24h: +12.11%.
Aave (AAVE) - USD 95.76 | 24h: +11.72%.
BUILDon (B) - USD 0.23 | 24h: +8.37%.
4. Five biggest current losers
AWE Network (AWE) - USD 0.06496 | 24h: -7.94%.
https://t.co/w21hIRwK3o (ETHFI) - USD 0.3531 | 24h: -7.37%.
Worldcoin (WLD) - USD 0.4371 | 24h: -6.72%.
edgeX (EDGE) - USD 0.2962 | 24h: -6.18%.
MegaETH (MEGA) - USD 0.04578 | 24h: -5.19%.
5. New listing pipeline / recently visible listings
AmericanFortress (AF) - Kraken token-generation-event roadmap; no live trading price quoted yet.
Arcium (ARX) - Kraken token-generation-event roadmap; no live trading price quoted yet.
WEMIX (WEMIX) - Kraken listing roadmap; price not quoted on the roadmap page.
Aleo (ALEO) - Kraken listing roadmap; price not quoted on the roadmap page.
Citrea (CTR) - Kraken listing roadmap; price not quoted on the roadmap page.
New listings are useful to watch, but this is where noise is highest. Before the narrative, check liquidity. Before liquidity, check the contract.
6. News watch - last 10 hours / overnight window
Bitcoin and metals pressure: CoinDesk’s latest feed flags that weakness in gold and silver is again feeding into Bitcoin’s risk tone. That is uncomfortable for the “digital gold” narrative, but very useful as a market signal. BTC is behaving less like a pure alternative asset and more like part of the broader macro-risk complex.
Bitcoin support still matters: CoinDesk’s live market commentary keeps the USD 59k area in focus as a key support zone. That level is not magic, but it is where psychology, liquidity and forced-risk management meet.
Binance and MiCA: Binance has told EU users that it will restrict some services because it will not have a MiCA licence in place by the July deadline. This is one of the clearest examples yet that MiCA is no longer a legal abstraction. It is market access.
Coinbase and OKX move on EU users: CoinDesk also reports that Coinbase and OKX are trying to attract Binance’s EU users after Binance’s MiCA setback. Regulation is becoming a competitive weapon. Compliance is not only defensive anymore.
Polymarket hack figure updated: CoinDesk’s latest feed refers to the Polymarket hack being updated to USD 3.1 million after the platform promised refunds. Prediction markets remain one of crypto’s most interesting use cases, but security and consumer trust are still the hard part.
SecondFi recovery plan: The Block reports that SecondFi mapped a recovery path after a USD 2.4 million Cardano wallet exploit, aiming to return funds within two weeks. Wallet generation and key handling are not minor technical details. They are consumer-protection infrastructure.
No major fresh court judgment found in the scanned overnight window: The legal story this morning is mainly regulatory access, platform risk, prediction-market trust, wallet security and market structure.
7. Altcoins, meme coins, stablecoins, CBDCs, NFTs and crypto baskets
Altcoins: HYPE, SOL, BNB, AAVE and WIF are showing strength. ETH is stabilizing, but still structurally weak.
Meme coins: DOGE is green, and WIF is among the strongest movers. That said, meme liquidity still feels selective rather than broad.
Stablecoins: USDT and USDC remain close to peg. The real story is still reserves, issuer supervision, redemption rights, AML, sanctions controls and payment access.
DeFi: AAVE is one of today’s stronger names. That is notable while broader DeFi remains under legal and security pressure.
Privacy coins: ZEC and XMR remain policy-sensitive. Privacy is not dead, but regulated intermediaries will handle it with increasing caution.
CBDCs: No major fresh CBDC headline dominated the overnight scan. The active regulatory fight is still more about stablecoins, MiCA, payment access and tokenized deposits.
NFTs: NFT news is not driving the market today. NFT sentiment still follows ETH/SOL liquidity more than any single collection.
Crypto baskets: CoinDesk’s CD20 is around 1,619.62, down about 0.92%. The memecoin basket is slightly positive, but the broader basket still says caution.
8. My read
This morning’s market is trying to look calm.
BTC is holding USD 60k. ETH is not breaking further, but also not inspiring confidence. SOL and HYPE are firmer. Stablecoins remain the real settlement layer. The most important story is not price alone, but access and trust: MiCA, Binance, exchange competition, prediction markets, wallet exploits and recovery promises.
Crypto still wants to be fast.
Regulation keeps asking whether fast is safe.
That question is becoming the market.

1. Morning crypto market check - Zurich
Zurich time: 07:28, Saturday, 27 June 2026.
Crypto is trying to recover, but sentiment is still very poor. CoinMarketCap shows the global crypto market cap around USD 2.08 trillion, with BTC dominance near 58.1%, ETH dominance around 9.2%, and Fear & Greed at 17/100.
Kraken shows a similar picture: market cap around EUR 1.94 trillion, down about 1.44% over 24h, but with a surprisingly strong trading bias: 76.9% buying versus 23.1% selling.
So yes, buyers are back. But no, this does not yet look like confidence. It looks more like cautious damage repair.
2. Top 10 coins / crypto assets by live market-cap ranking
Bitcoin (BTC) - USD 60,204.57 | 24h: +0.57% | trend: defending the USD 60k area after a hard week.
Ethereum (ETH) - USD 1,578.33 | 24h: +1.64% | trend: bouncing, but still weak on the 7d and 30d view.
Tether (USDT) - USD 0.9986 | 24h: -0.01% | trend: close to peg, still the main liquidity rail.
BNB (BNB) - USD 565.20 | 24h: +0.85% | trend: modest rebound, relatively resilient.
USDC (USDC) - USD 0.9998 | 24h: flat | trend: close to peg, still central for regulated settlement.
XRP (XRP) - USD 1.06 | 24h: +2.50% | trend: stronger bounce, but still legally and payments-sensitive.
Solana (SOL) - USD 71.84 | 24h: +5.25% | trend: strongest large-cap move this morning.
TRON (TRX) - USD 0.3205 | 24h: -0.32% | trend: flat-to-soft, but stablecoin settlement use still matters.
Hyperliquid (HYPE) - USD 63.79 | 24h: +2.06% | trend: high-beta rebound, with regulatory optics now in focus.
WhiteBIT Coin (WBT) - USD 48.56 | 24h: +0.48% | trend: modestly positive, but less liquid in the public narrative than BTC/ETH/SOL.
3. Five biggest current gainers
Beat Token (BEAT) - USD 2.43 | 24h: +39.05%.
AWE Network (AWE) - USD 0.071 | 24h: +14.98%.
Jito (JTO) - USD 0.83 | 24h: +12.81%.
Aave (AAVE) - USD 93.93 | 24h: +12.21%.
Plasma (XPL) - USD 0.10 | 24h: +10.84%.
4. Five biggest current losers
Humanity (H) - USD 0.05605 | 24h: -16.22%.
edgeX (EDGE) - USD 0.3119 | 24h: -14.72%.
Backpack (BP) - USD 0.4981 | 24h: -13.81%.
MemeCore (M) - USD 0.7232 | 24h: -13.02%.
Beldex (BDX) - USD 0.08152 | 24h: -11.82%.

For new listings, I would be careful. Before the first real market depth appears, the story is usually louder than the liquidity.
6. News watch - last 10 hours
MiCA deadline gets real: Spain’s securities regulator said there will be no exceptions or extensions for crypto firms that miss the July 1 MiCA deadline. That matters especially for platforms still trying to secure EU authorisation. Regulation is no longer a future discussion. It is now market access.
SEC and CFTC look at joint margin rules: US regulators are seeking feedback on unified portfolio margin rules across securities and derivatives. The technical point is margin. The real point is bigger: crypto derivatives are forcing regulators to coordinate across old legal borders.
Prediction markets under political pressure: US senators are pushing back against the CFTC’s approach to prediction markets, arguing that state consumer-protection and gambling oversight should not simply be displaced. This is where crypto culture, sports betting, elections and derivatives law all crash into the same wall.
Hyperliquid added to Singapore’s Investor Alert List: MAS added Hyperliquid to its Investor Alert List. Important nuance: that is not a ban or an enforcement finding. But it is a regulatory warning signal, and compliance teams will notice.
Australia extends licensing relief: ASIC extended temporary no-action relief for digital asset firms until 30 September 2026. The direction is still clear: digital asset platforms are being pulled into financial-services licensing logic.
Polymarket / prediction markets still under scrutiny: Cointelegraph also flagged fresh pressure around Polymarket and “deceptive marketing” concerns. Prediction markets may be one of the most interesting crypto use cases, but they are also one of the legally messiest.
Ethereum governance question: CoinDesk reports that a former Ethereum Foundation leader warned about a funding gap as governance shifts. For ETH, this is not just about gas, scaling or ETFs. It is also about whether decentralized infrastructure can fund itself without quietly becoming institutional infrastructure.
7. Altcoins, meme coins, stablecoins, CBDCs, NFTs and crypto baskets
Altcoins: SOL, XRP, HYPE, AAVE and JTO are showing the strongest bounce today. ETH is recovering, but the medium-term tape is still damaged.
Meme coins: DOGE is just outside the live top 10 and trades around USD 0.0754, up about 1.60%. MemeCore is still weak. The meme trade is selective, not broad.
Stablecoins: USDT and USDC remain close to peg. The bigger story is not price. It is reserves, issuer supervision, redemption, AML, sanctions controls and payment access.
Privacy coins: ZEC and XMR remain relevant because privacy-enhancing assets are still being pushed toward the edge of regulated markets. Privacy is not dead. But regulated intermediaries will touch it with gloves.
CBDCs: No major new CBDC headline dominated the overnight window. The live policy fight is more about stablecoins, tokenized deposits and MiCA than retail CBDCs.
NFTs: NFT news is not driving the market this morning. NFT liquidity still follows ETH and SOL more than any single collection story.
Crypto baskets: CoinDesk’s CD20 is around 1,630.57, up about 1.75%. CoinMarketCap’s CMC20 is around USD 120.82. Today, baskets show a modest relief bounce, not a full recovery.
8. My read
This morning is less about a new bull case and more about sorting out the damage.
BTC is defending USD 60k. SOL is leading the large-cap rebound. Stablecoins remain the real settlement layer. But the more serious story is legal and institutional: MiCA deadlines, MAS warnings, ASIC licensing relief, CFTC/SEC margin coordination, and prediction-market jurisdiction fights.
Crypto still wants to move like software.
Regulators still treat it like finance.
The market keeps learning that both can be true at the same time.
