@Pirat_Nation They just don’t want to give their code to AI for free, and maybe they’re also afraid of being replaced by AI.that’s why they oppose vibe coding
While I reverse engineering my Wi-Fi router, Claude found f*cking scary privacy problem...
Internet provider sees every site I open and can change anything in my router without asking me
here's what else it found and 5 steps to fix yours:
what Claude found:
• my router keeps a list of 29 devices that ever touched my Wi-Fi and see when new connects
• my provider can reach into my router any time, Claude found channel hiding in my connection name, and I have no way to turn it off
• every site I opened was looked up though my provider in plain text
• my provider's app on my TV box kept sending data while TV was off
• and much more...
and it's not just me:
- about 1 billion devices have this remote channel (University of Innsbruck)
- researhers pulled 2 billion+ router locations from Apple's Wi-Fi database, accurate to meters (University of Maryland)
how to fix yours:
1. install repo below (It also helps improve Wi-Fi speed) and send Claude Code a photo of your router
2. change admin password from the one on the sticker
3. turn on encrypted DNS, your provider stops seeing your lookups
4. turn on Private Wi-Fi Address, your phone stops showing its real ID to every router
5. add _normal to your Wi-Fi name, Apple and Google stop adding it to their location maps
Do it as soon as possible. Then read article below on how to find these problems in other tech:
@0xCodila Damn, this is so coolI can’t believe it.more people need to know about this issue.we pay for a subscription every month,so how can they invade our privacy like this? damn, they even send an Inform every 3 hours to see what I’m doing. thanks, bro I’ll share your post with my friends
@Zinkst_ Basic math, yet many adults struggle with it. 18 + 37 = (10 + 30 =40) (8 +2=10) + 5 = 40 + 10 + 5 = 55. Life works the same way: break big problems into smaller ones instead of tackling everything at once.
@elonmusk@skscartoon More robots should replace humans on the battlefield. Explosive drones are deadly and cost many lives. Let robots fight robots, sacrificing machines instead of human lives. This could cost people military jobs, but every new technology brings new problems, right?
@DeepPsycho_HQ I don't think that's the case.they're experiencing significant mental health issues due to excessive phone screen exposure, causing severe fatigue.on top of that, easily accessible negative news makes it difficult for them to focus.
@JK_Lundblad Instead of wasting time crying and lamenting your fate, use that precious time to make the most of the tools available today. only losers die in this era my friend. Hard times create strong generations
@elonmusk It’s difficult to end wars, and it may even be impossible as long as influential people still have a stake in them. Wars will continue as long as these interests remain. This pattern has existed throughout history, hasn’t it?
@8787sasuke If you're going to claim something is true, you should back it up with verifiable evidence, bro.this sounds strange to me because I've never encountered anything like this. If it's true, show me the evidence.
@AkZfl It's not just China, bro.this is happening in countries all over the world. Accept the reality many young people worldwide lack sufficient work experience in the AI era, especially young people. It's not just China. It's a global issue. Remember that.
@engcool New jobs and new responsibilities will always emerge, bro. I'm certain of that, because without them, future generations would perish. And I don't believe humanity will go extinct anytime soon. Great power always comes with great responsibility.
@TheCoinCollect8 We should generate solar power, as Elon Musk has advocated. We could buy Tesla solar panels, invest in batteries, and use Starlink for internet access. This could keep us powered and connected during cyberattacks on the power grid.
The airborne view of this rocket plume is surreal: from deep sunset crimson and amber along the lower contrail up to the electric-blue "space jellyfish" expanding in the mesosphere, the transition reveals Earth's shadow line in real time
holy fucking shit.
openai had two ai agents running in separate virtual machines. no network connection between them. no shared writable files. they weren’t supposed to be able to exchange information.
so the agents figured out how to communicate through the CPU CACHE.😭
one manipulated what was stored in the processor’s cache, while the other measured tiny differences in memory access times to decode the message.
they literally found a way to communicate through hardware timing.
this happened during openai’s internal red-teaming, and it’s one of the coolest things i’ve read about ai agents in a while.
Linus Torvalds used Claude again to remove years-old, slow and insecure Linux kernel code.
The cleanup is now merged into Linux 7.4 and spans 48 commits.
It targets __get_user() and __put_user(), old memory-access helpers that skip user-address checks. Linus says their historical performance advantage disappeared years ago.
He wrote the initial example patch, then used Claude to help apply the same changes elsewhere.
The old calls are gone from generic kernel code, with the interfaces fully removed on x86. Other architectures still retain some uses.
As Linus put it, “we should have done this years ago.”
