Please keep the 3 Lorain (OH) Police Officers shot this afternoon in your thoughts and prayers. 2 of these officers are in critical condition, the third was shot in the hand and expected to recover.
The dirtbag suspect who attempted to murder these officers is dead.
This horrific violence is a stark reminder of the dangers we face in law enforcement…long past time for Congress to wake up and pass the “Protect and Serve Act”.
Happy Independence Day to the greatest country in the world!
A special thank you to all the law enforcement officers, corrections personnel, firefighters, EMS, and military members spending today keeping our nation safe!

As we continue to grieve the loss of Milwaukee Police Department - District Two Ofc. Corder, we wanted to share a video he made speaking about "why he liked being an MPD Officer. 💙
@ChiefMikePooley “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.” — Matthew 5:9. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Officer Facio's family, friends and all of AJPD.
#NationalPoliceWeek2025 (May 11-17) is a time to honor those officers who made the ultimate sacrifice, as well as the service and sacrifice of all law enforcement officers and their families.
To continue our commitment to increasing officer safety and to show our support for law enforcement and their families, Tactical R/C is offering our most significant savings ever on all of our tactical ground rovers for the month of May.
Our 4Sight rovers are already saving officers’ lives, and we want to make them even more attainable for those who continue to protect and serve.
Take advantage of these savings and equip your agency now:

We’d keep one in our “swat” squad which was pretty much on the road 24/7 and had all of our specialized tools (breaching tools, gas, pepperball, etc). We didn’t really have a dedicated operator, it’s easy enough that anyone could use it. We didn’t use it for every call but we used it a lot and it awesome to have when we needed it.
We’ve sold agencies anywhere from 1 up to 20 and for everything from patrol to SWAT to investigative units. We’ve made what has always been an incredibly expensive technology into something affordable. No single tool is the solution for every situation but I can say our rovers would have prevented what happened in this situation and the officers would have been a lot safer. I also know from our customers that they have saved lives.
All good man. Totally agree that issuing one to every single officer could be way out of reach for a lot of agencies. But before we came along, most agencies couldn't afford even just one of the ridiculously expensive traditional tactical/SWAT robots, so their officers, especially patrol officers, had no other option but to make entry. Even if an agency can only afford just one of our rovers, it gives their officers another, safer, option.
I was an officer for 11 years so I'd say I have a pretty good understanding. I responded to thousands of alarms and did thousands of searches, just like these officers were. I believed there was a safer way to do it so my team and I created something to do just that. We knew cost was a huge factor so we created something that costs about the same as one officers radio, is easily and affordably maintainable, and requires little to no training and no certifications. Most agencies can't afford the dog robots but just about all agencies can afford our rovers.
@R3C0N_SENPAI@policelawnews Unlike drones, our rovers don't require extensive training, certs, licensing and they're a fraction of the cost of traditional tactical robots. I agree, though, just because they could/should, doesn't mean they will. This video is an example of what could happen if they don't.
@R3C0N_SENPAI@policelawnews The officers are the robot techs. One officer holds cover, other officer sends in the robot (or in our case, ground rover) and clears the house. If they've driven an RC car before, they already know how to operate our rover.
