LIFE UPDATE!

I want to share that I’ve officially stepped away from @deathcorebbq

With Alex stepping away from Reaper One Seasoning, I felt it was only fair to return my half of Deathcore BBQ to him so he can take it in the direction he sees fit moving forward.

I still remember when Alex first approached me with the idea of starting Deathcore BBQ while I was doing my internship under Esaul Ramos. From that point on, I helped build Deathcore BBQ into what it is today and I’m proud of what we created together.

We’ve fed approximately 100 touring musicians, built real relationships, and created something unique in a space that didn’t exist before. I remember helping Alex decide on the name, the late nights developing our vegan menu and recipes, and contributing to the overall experience we brought backstage.

But over time, I realized I was no longer being challenged the way I need to be. Cooking the same style repeatedly became too comfortable and as a professional chef, I feel the need to step out of my comfort zone to grow.

So now, I’m stepping back to focus on the next phase.
I’ll be putting my full attention into growing Reaper One Seasoning, expanding my skills in the kitchen by stepping outside of Texas-style BBQ, and continuing my education in marketing and content creation.

This isn’t the end of my journey in the food industry; it’s the beginning of a new chapter. I know I am good, but I feel this next chapter will help me become one of the best. And when I launch my next food concept, I plan to build it into one of the best in Texas.

I’m grateful for everything we built and everyone who supported us along the way. I hope I will have your support while I continue my journey to become one of the best in the business!
