“For a pioneering and entertaining form of live podcast journalism that investigated how the Los Angeles Clippers seemingly evaded the NBA’s salary cap rules by funneling money to a star player through an environmental startup.”

Want to know how ridiculous it is to expand @MarchMadnessMBB to 76 teams? Look at the sort of teams that now will make it.
If your eyes can cope, we'll guide you through eight that would have made the 2026 field had this awful decision been made earlier:

hi! i'm back writing stories for NASCAR!
I wrote about the Shermans, 3 generations who race each other at Iowa's Hawkeye Downs Speedway.
Racing his son and grandson is a huge joy for Dale Sherman, for the most part.

@TDavisAAS It was not good basketball lol. Neither would have been a normal Wizards game in 2026. A guy was going for a record - something unique and entertaining- and it was a fun watch
In Wilt's 100 game, Philly was letting NYK score quickly in the 4Q so they could get the ball back and feed the big man.
Kobe took 13 of LA's 17 FGA - and all 13 of their FTA - in the 4Q to get to 81.
No one's ever scored 70+ "ethically". What Bam did is insane and joyous.
The take culture of our lord 2026 that's going after Bam today would have made Kobe's 81 so much less fun -- especially given his image in 2006.
Cool stuff should be fun.
Sad news: Matt Snell, Jets legend and Super Bowl III hero, has passed away, his son, Beau Snell, told ESPN. Snell, 84, died this morning on Long Island. He was a Jets Ring of Honor member and scored the only TD in Super Bowl III. He was dominant that day, rushing for 121 yards. Truly one of the all-time greats. RIP. #Jets
NEW: Nearly 10 years ago, Kobe Bryant declared “Mamba out” in his final words as a Los Angeles Laker. But years before he assumed the black mamba persona, Nike created a campaign built around the snake for someone else – Michael Jordan. https://t.co/V5c1Zh4aNn
Had fun reporting this story.
@RandyScottESPN wakes up at 1:45 and makes a nearly two-hour drive to Bristol to host the 7am "SportsCenter" each day.
@danorlovsky7 usually watches 6-7 full NFL games before he goes on "Get Up" on Mondays during the NFL season.
How early morning show hosts/analysts prep for their jobs.
