@bethesda I'd rather see Starfield properly finished and feature complete than see another highly anticipated game "go gold" and release in a state Cyberpunk 2077 did.
Please allow your devs the time necessary to finish this product properly. Don't shovel this out the door undercooked.
@HeroicNerdz @EpicGames No contingency to allow people to play games they bought (especially games that don't actually require an internet connection to play) during unexpected downtime is a major failure on Epic's part.
@HeroicNerdz @EpicGames Don't get me wrong, I've worked in Information Technology. I understand that every system has problems and there will be both expected and unexpected downtime.
@tommegg_@EpicGames DRM has always punished the paying customer. It's little more than a speed bump to software pirates.
I'm very against DRM, but software publishers want to think their can't be pirated so the price of being a good consumer is paying to be subjected to pointless DRM systems.
@spotgary2 @EpicGames That may be, but they still haven't posted an official update on the problem.
Posting an advertisement while the system was (for all we knew at the time) still down is not exactly a great PR move.
@JasperBoerstra Perceived Obsolescence. Constantly changing and updating styles makes what we're used to look old and outdated by comparison.
Yeah, I don't get it either. Blame the sales and advertisement industries for coming up with this idea a really long time ago.
