@gmanews That timing is exactly why people are reacting strongly. It doesn’t look like simple hiya. If embarrassment was really the issue, it would have made more sense for him to return earlier.
@gmanews What a lame excuse that he only showed up now because he was embarrassed. If that were truly the reason, then why appear only yesterday after being absent for six months? Why not show up earlier, when important discussions and responsibilities were actually happening?
@ReHorizon3@bongbongmarcos Still, I also try to remind myself that not everything is always as it seems. So while I have my doubts, I’m also hoping there’s more transparency and that they prove people wrong by showing real accountability.
@ReHorizon3@bongbongmarcos You have a point. But at the same time, you can’t really blame me for losing trust and starting to doubt our government. Especially after what happened in the past few years, it’s hard not to feel disappointed. It feel like they percieved the filipinos as fools and naive.
@ReHorizon3@bongbongmarcos For sure, they know more about BBM and what really happened before everything went downhill between them. Parang “damay-damay” na rin—if one starts talking, others might get dragged into it too.
But I still hope and pray that Mr. President proves me wrong.
During ERAP’s impeachment trial, we sort of knew we didn't have the numbers to convict. But what mattered was the evidence was being presented to the Filipino people. And the moment the majority blocked the 2nd envelope, the people became the judges.
We are not powerless here.
