Congratulations to District 28-6A All District Honorable Mention Infielder, Carlos Nieto (c/o ‘26)! One of the most projectable athletes in the area with another year in Raider Red ahead. Big frame with huge potential for physical development. After a great junior year and a big summer, he could be a big prospect for several programs around the country! @billycraft08@taft_club@TaftRaider@NISDTaft@RStade34 #RELENTLESS
Congratulations to District 28-6A 2nd Team All District Pitcher, Adrian Rendon (c/o ‘25). In a high school career plagued with adversity, Adrian has excelled wearing Raider Red and has willed his was to becoming one of the best pitchers in the district. Not only did he excel on the mound, but Adrian has developed the ability to contribute anywhere on the diamond. As a result of nonstop work on and off campus, inevitably leading to an outstanding senior season performance, Adrian has begun to draw interest from several programs around the country. #13 serves as a picture perfect example for the next generations of Taft Raider athletes of what it means to relentlessly pursue excellence and never settle for anything less! @AdrianRendon07@billycraft08@taft_club@TaftRaider@NISDTaft@RStade34 #RELENTLESS
Congratulations to District 28-6A 2nd Team All District Catcher, Caleb Rendon (c/o ‘25)! Caleb is everything you could ever want in a backstop. This senior personifies the RELENTLESS character that Taft High School strives to instill in every one of our athletes. Caleb is the first one in the gym everyday, both in the offseason and in-season, and never lets his teammates fall victim to excuses, poor attitude, or lack of effort. Caleb Rendon’s voice is one that will continue to echo through the halls of Taft High School long after he has moved on to the next levels of baseball. His complete and unstoppable devotion to his own personal development yields an almost infinite ceiling in the game of baseball, but even that is outshined by his natural leadership and commitment to the program and his teammates! There is no doubt Caleb will be a key piece to any of the programs that steal him. @CalebRendon15@billycraft08@taft_club@TaftRaider@NISDTaft@RStade34 #RELENTLESS
Congratulations to District 28-6A 2nd Team All District Infielder, Ethan Barrera (c/o ‘26)! A huge presence with one of the highest ceilings in the area that is sure to draw the attention of several next level programs this summer and into next spring! @Ethan_Barrera7@billycraft08@taft_club@TaftRaider@NISDTaft@RStade34 #RELENTLESS
Congratulations to District 28-6A 1st Team All District Infielder, Chris Arriaga (c/o ‘26)! Ultimate competitor who begs for the ball in big moments! A big steal in the upcoming recruiting class! @chris_arriaga14@billycraft08@taft_club@TaftRaider@NISDTaft@RStade34 #RELENTLESS
Congratus to our son, @ElijahBarrera08 for officially committing to further his academic and athletic career at Texas A&M University - Kingsville. This evening was everything I imagined and more. Perfect. We were incredibly blessed to see 100+ people attend this single event.
