Hey guys, I have been practicing for OoT 100% speedruns for the last week or two. Tomorrow, starting around noon CET, I will do my first run with the new route and also my first OoT run in 8 years. I'm pretty excited, and hope to see you there!
The video I linked made me think. I wonder how much my brain has been physically altered by my habits, and what I should do to make things better. I think I need to establish stricter rules for myself, and somehow make it so that I can't just click away the restrictions...
Been working on reducing my social media use for a while now and only then did I realize just how much my brain depends on this stuff. I deleted several apps from my phone and still find myself glued to a screen for hours and hours a day

become to read, probably because it requires my full attention for an extended amount of time and I rarely do anything without multitasking. It's very rare that I, for example, cook or do the dishes without playing something in the background to make the process more enjoyable.
