The appeal in having Jaylon Johnson and Tyrique Stevenson as your outside CBs is having two guys who are:

• Big and physical
• Ideal CBs near the line of scrimmage with their aggressive style and strength
• Enough build-up speed to defend vertical concepts when in press

Then why are the #Bears playing them in passive off-man and soft zones, where their weaknesses of short-area burst are on full display?

Do the Bears not trust their safeties — a recent second-round pick and a 2-time Pro Bowler? Do they not know what they have at CB? Make it make sense.
