Pervez Musharraf, the former president of Pakistan under whose leadership several thousands of people with no links to terrorism were literally sold-off to the US Government as part of the “War on Terror”.

Musharraf himself claimed in his book “In the Line of Fire” that he was proud to have sold off people whom he referred to as “terrorists” off to the US Government. The United Nations has described Israel’s claims of establishing a “safe zone” in southern Gaza as a “farce,” stressing that the reality on the ground proves there is no place Palestinians can turn to for safety.

UN reports indicated that shelters designated by the occupying authorities as temporary refuges are repeatedly subjected to airstrikes, reducing them to rubble and leaving tents unfit for human shelter.

UNICEF also warned of the catastrophic situation facing mothers and newborns in Gaza amid severe shortages of medicines and medical supplies, along with overwhelming pressure on Nasser Medical Complex in the south of the Strip, where corridors are filled with women who have just given birth.
