I’m fascinated by how Lush survives.

They pump high streets with the most repellent and obnoxious smells that make passersby sneeze and feel sick.

The one bath bomb I was once given made the bath look like it was filled with urine from a dehydrated camel (photo). It smelt as bad too.

On top of the vile smell and unappealing aesthetics the company has very divisive and overtly biased politics.

This is Khasman Mandyk Zhysi. Callsign "Malyi".

He was a Jewish soldier in UPA. During World War II the nazis killed his mother, brother, and sister. He was sent to a ghetto. Instead of giving up in 1943 at the age of 14 he joined UPA.

He fought against the nazis in 1943-1944 to avenge his family. He attacked German strongholds, conducted ambushes, and destroyed German communications.

In 1944 he defended Ukrainian civilians in Khlom from murder by the AK.

In 1945 he 1945 along with several other UPA partisans in Zavydiv and Samovol, valiantly defeated the NKVD.

He was captured by the soviets. Tortured. But survived.

He died August 24, 2013. His last words ""You will gain the Ukrainian state or die in the struggle for it"

This is why Ukrainians support UPA. Because UPA fought and defended Ukrainian freedom from its oppressors.

Stop pretending that UPA only existed in 1943. UPA fought from 1942-1960. Their history has not been properly told.

Henryk Dobrzański aka "Hubal" was a Polish soldier, athlete and one of the first partisan commanders of WWII.
After Poland’s defeat in 1939, he formed a partisan group that fought in central Poland. His group, called the "Oddział Wydzielony Wojska Polskiego" (Separate Unit of the Polish Army), fought while maintaining an impeccable military discipline.
Dobrzański died while leading a cavalry charge, surrounded and attacked by several thousand German soldiers near Anielin in 1940.

❕ Zelenskyy has accused Polish President Nawrocki of fueling anti-Ukrainian sentiment for domestic political gain

“He is stoking antagonism and hatred toward Ukrainians. This is exactly what Orbán has been doing. It’s a bad path, and in my opinion, it will end badly,” the Ukrainian president said.

The dispute centers on the Order of the White Eagle, Poland’s highest state decoration, which was awarded to Zelenskyy by then-President Andrzej Duda in 2023 for strengthening Polish-Ukrainian relations and cooperation during the war.

After Zelenskyy granted a Ukrainian military unit a name associated with the UPA, President Nawrocki demanded that the award be returned. In response, Zelenskyy said Ukraine was ready to send the order back, while stressing that it had been awarded not to him personally, but to the Ukrainian people and the Ukrainian armed forces.

According to Zelenskyy, the conflict is primarily driven by domestic Polish politics. He believes Nawrocki has already begun a political campaign aimed at securing power for his party and defeating Donald Tusk.

“We have nothing to do with this. It is their internal political struggle,” Zelenskyy said.
