किसी ने भी किसी पूजा स्थल के सामने नृत्य नहीं किया। यही इस्लाम की खूबसूरती है 🙂

New Delhi, January 8, 2026: The admission prospectus for the schools of Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) for the upcoming academic session 2026-27 was yesterday released by Prof. Mazhar Asif, Vice Chancellor, JMI, and Prof. Md. Mahtab Alam Rizvi, Registrar, JMI, in the presence of Prof. Ahteshamul Haque, Officiating Controller of Examinations (CoE) and members of the Prospectus Draft Committee. Online application for admission to classes Nursery, Preparatory, I, VI, IX, and XI are now available and open for form filling on Jamia Millia Islamia’s website https://t.co/dPLV6XXpx5

Applicants, including foreign nationals and NRI ward candidates, can now apply online along with the application fee of Rs.500/- for Indians and Rs.1500/- for foreign nationals and NRI wards, to the following schools of Jamia: Mushir Fatma Nursery School, Jamia Middle School, Jamia Senior Secondary School, Syed Abid Husain Senior Secondary School (self-financed), and Jamia Girls Senior Secondary School (self-financed).

A detailed admission schedule pertaining to each of these schools, including the last date for online application submission, number of seats available, dates for draw of lots and written tests (where applicable), the date of display of lists of selected candidates, and the commencement of classes, has been included in the Jamia School Prospectus 2026-27 and made available online on JMI website. Applicants are advised to go through the same carefully before applying.

A major highlight of the school admission academic session 2026-27 is that there is no fee hike for Indian students across any of the classes or any schools. “This is a significant milestone,” said Prof. Asif, VC JMI, on the occasion, adding, “Our schools are the foundation and the bedrock of the education system of India. We have therefore taken tremendous care that Jamia schools remain inclusive and equitable and cater to all sections of society, especially the girl child and children with special needs. Beginning this academic year, we are upgrading school infrastructure to provide improved facilities. Special emphasis is being placed on children with special needs, for whom we are appointing dedicated special tutors and JRF scholars from the field of special education to support inclusive learning.” Prof. Asif added. “Additionally, we are seeking active support from school alumni to help enrich the quality of education. Our curriculum is being updated in tune with contemporary requirements to integrate value-based and skill-based learning in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.” Prof. Asif said.

Prof. Rizvi, congratulating the committee on the timely launch of the admission prospectus, said, “We are pleased to announce the opening of Jamia Schools admissions for the new academic year 2026-27. Jamia schools are not merely institutions of learning; they embody the rich history and enduring legacy of this 105-year-old institution. The lives and contributions of distinguished figures such as Ms. Mushir Fatma and Ms. Gerda Philipsborn continue to inspire our teachers and guide our educational ethos. Our Principals and teachers ensure that at Jamia schools, young minds acquire not only academic knowledge but also awaken to our rich cultural and historical heritage. प्रयागराज के टिकरी स्थित सत्यम शिवम शुभम फॉर्मेसी कॉलेज में 12 मई 2025 को प्रबंधक संजय शुक्ला ने बी-फार्मा प्रथम वर्ष के एक छात्र की पिटाई कर दी। छात्र एडमिट कार्ड डाउनलोड न होने की शिकायत लेकर पहुंचे थे, क्योंकि 16 मई से उनकी परीक्षाएं शुरू हो रही हैं। छात्रों का कहना है कि उनका भविष्य दांव पर है। वायरल वीडियो में संजय शुक्ला छात्र को थप्पड़ मारते दिख रहे हैं। स्थानीय लोग उन्हें इलाके में बदनाम और अक्सर नशे में रहने वाला बताते हैं।@UPGovt @BhimArmyChief

हम जामिया मिल्लिया इस्लामिया विश्वविद्यालय में छात्रों के खिलाफ हो रहे दमनकारी एवं अलोकतांत्रिक कृत्यों की घोर निंदा करते हैं। एक शिक्षण संस्थान, जो विचारों की स्वतंत्रता, लोकतांत्रिक मूल्यों और अभिव्यक्ति की आज़ादी का प्रतीक होना चाहिए, वहां छात्रों की आवाज़ को कुचलने के लिए 50,000 रुपये का आर्थिक दंड लगाना अस्वीकार्य है।

छात्रों द्वारा शांतिपूर्ण विरोध प्रदर्शन करना उनका संवैधानिक अधिकार है, लेकिन जामिया प्रशासन द्वारा इस अधिकार का हनन करना और विरोध करने वाले छात्रों को गार्डों और पुलिस के माध्यम से डराना-धमकाना न केवल शर्मनाक है, बल्कि एक गंभीर आपत्तिजनक कृत्य भी है।

हम प्रशासन द्वारा छात्रों को पिटवाने और पुलिस के माध्यम से उन्हें जबरन उठाने जैसी घटनाओं की कड़ी भर्त्सना करते हैं। यह पहली बार नहीं हो रहा है; पिछले कुछ समय से लगातार छात्रों पर इस प्रकार की कार्रवाई हो रही है, जिससे परिसर का लोकतांत्रिक और शैक्षणिक माहौल बाधित हो रहा है।

हम @jmiu_official प्रशासन से मांग करते हैं कि—

1. विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासन तत्काल इस दमनकारी नीति को वापस ले।

2. जिन छात्रों को हिरासत में लिया गया है, उन्हें तुरंत रिहा किया जाए।

3. छात्रों की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित की जाए और उनके संवैधानिक अधिकारों का सम्मान किया जाए।

4. प्रशासन लोकतांत्रिक संवाद स्थापित करे और छात्र हितों के लिए सकारात्मक कदम उठाए।

यदि विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासन अपनी तानाशाही नीतियों पर अड़ा रहता है, तो हम छात्रों के हित में बड़े स्तर पर विरोध प्रदर्शन करने के लिए बाध्य होंगे।
