Primarily fun, socially inclusive and recreational. And especially beneficial to have an age spread of players from teenagers up to the more mature players. Good for all of us. Good for the game.

Great effort by the Tain lads in Glasgow at the Scottish cup....3 draws and unfortunately 2 loses.
Think the heat and early start took its toll in the final game with the 3 nil loss. But team did Tain and the Highlands proud 👏.
Here's to next year! 💪

Hearty congratulations to HIGHLAND UNITED for playing their first league games in Dundee on Sunday. (3 players from St Duthus, Tain; 7 from Seaforth, Conon Bridge). Well done, guys!

Great game tonight.5 a side. Many regulars not present for variety of reasons, but our squad is now big enough to sustain that. It took 15 months to go from nothing to something. I had no idea it would take that long😂

Our members have supported a ‘one-off’ donation of £120 to pay for Highland United Football Club’s first 2 league appearances in Dundee and to help kick start a Highland football force to be reckoned with. We watch their progress with great interest.

Last Monday we played a friendly game against the newly formed Seaforth Walking Football Club. A match report may appear shortly in the Ross-Shire Journal. Keep an eye out for that one.

Last week we had three pairs of fathers and sons on the pitch at the same time. Extraordinary. We must be doing something right.😀⚽️

We played. It was good. Some injuries (not good), some cracking football, some cranky shots. Wouldn’t have it any other way.
