Today, laid the foundation stone for the improvement and extension of water supply in #HazratbalConstituency beginning from Shalbaf Mohalla, Anchar.

Ensuring reliable and adequate water supply remains one of my key priorities as access to clean drinking water is a basic necessity for every household. I am personally monitoring the augmentation of water supply across the constituency and will continue to work towards strengthening the system and ensuring visible improvement over time.

InshaAllah, we will ensure better and more reliable water supply for our people.

Laid the foundation stone of the Playfield at Dara today, fulfilling a long-standing demand of the locals, particularly our young people. Alhamdulillah, a promise made to the people during the elections is now becoming a reality.

Grateful to the locals for their appreciation and continued support. This playfield will provide our youth with a much-needed space for sports, recreation and nurturing their talent. Paid a surprise visit to the Regional Research Institute of Unani Medicine, Habak and took a detailed review of the overall functioning of the institute and the healthcare services being provided to the people.

During the visit, I interacted with patients and attendants to seek their firsthand feedback regarding the treatment, facilities, availability of medicines, staff response and other services being provided at the institute. I also interacted with the doctors and staff and took stock of the facilities and infrastructure available.

Emphasised the need to further strengthen patient care, improve basic facilities and ensure that people visiting the institute receive timely, accessible and quality healthcare services. The concerns raised during the visit will be taken up with the concerned authorities for appropriate redressal.

I apprised the Hon’ble Minister of various critical issues affecting the people and sought their early resolution. The Hon’ble Minister assured that the matters would be taken up on priority and directed the concerned officials for early redressal.

Chaired a public darbar at Baghati Shora alongside the SE Jal Shakti Srinagar/Ganderbal and concerned Executive Engineers of UEED, City Drainage, PHE & I&FC Ganderbal to review the drainage and irrigation issues.

Locals apprised us of the alarming storm-water situation during bad weather and the persistent sewage issues. I directed the concerned officers to formulate a comprehensive project including a dewatering station for the entire area to address the issue effectively.

The sewage problem will also be addressed through the recently approved ₹19 crore sewage network project for the area by Hon’ble Chief Minister Jenab @OmarAbdullah Sahab.

I have directed the officials to prepare a detailed DPR for the project to solve the long pending issue for good. Conveyed officials to expedite the ongoing works and assured the locals that every possible effort will be made to resolve these issues at the earliest.
