@TogetherforPR Didn’t admin remove the only black member, AD Simmons, of the senior staff??
Teach whatever history you want, but don’t bury that. Seems like admin has some issues too.
We’ve got an idea. Ask former AD Sean Simmons about how minorities are treated in the administrative offices. He won’t talk, but if he did, his description would take you back to the 1950’s south.
It starts and ends at the top.
Since the concerns and experiences of students in marginalized groups are not being acknowledged by the PR school board, we are sharing quotes from the Open Letter to Pine-Richland from 2020.

@PRFactsMatter1 @Dvdburner2@TakeBackPR Tell me more about the family friend of Superintendent Brian Miller whom he hand picked to coach PR. Oh 🥊punchin’ Pete🥊 your days in the board are numbered.
@PRFactsMatter1 They learned that they need a better social media presence. The pounding they took in the election was due in large part to the negative PR they got from social media.
Note: School directors and superintendents are “public figures” in PA. So you can say A LOT about them.
@JMCory3@PRSchools Our understanding is that NRP has hands tied for minors to an extent.
And in our opinion, adults in @PRSchools did not adequately help this child despite numerous issues, and in the end, used him for their gain just before they graduated him and he became someone else’s problem
Too bad @prschools would never do anything about this kid. Became their main witness. Has apparently been terrifying kids for years, but was untouchable probably because…he’s Peter Lyons neighbor.

Uh… How do we hold the President accountable? NOTHING has changed since the election.
I hope the community understands that the new President isn’t much different than the last guy.
