Pricessless comment from the Judge yesterday:
You better view this sentence as being on probation for the rest of your life! For your own sake, I hope you never end up in my courtroom again. 🙌🙌🙌
Case Update: He got kicked out of the Domestic Violence Prevention Class which was a violation of probation. 😳 Then, he blew a .195 BAC. He's in jail for a bit. No contact order still in place. Kids and I are safe and content. #BIP#DV#domesticviolence#justice#dvam

@BerylGonePink I have met the lady that created the program here. She will see right through his BS and will not pass him if he has an attitude. He couldn't even fake it yesterday for 10 mins in front of the judge.
@BerylGonePink No, custody is not changing and even more difficult for him now that he has plead guilty. Its only 6 months probation but he must attend (and pass) a DV prevention program, pay fines, and it's zero tolerance or he will serve the rest of the maximum sentence in jail. 🙌
Good news: People at work have no idea what I've been through so they don't treat me differently.

Tomorrow I give my victim impact statement after 3 years 8 months and 23 days of waiting. I have been fighting panic attacks and PTSD all day long and I'm exhausted. Please send prayers that I make it through this. 💜
The criminal trial has entered it's 11th 90-day continuance. He is still out there actively stalking me. The prosecutor claims there is not enough evidence even though he admitted to stalking me under oath.
The 14th 90-day continuance has been accepted. That is 3 1/2 years of waiting for the criminal trial to be heard. He is out on bond for the 3rd time. The Prosecutor’s Victim Advocate is worried about my safety, yet they do nothing to bring justice or safety to me and my kids. 😢
Plea Deal: 6 months probation
That's the punishment for assault with a deadly weapon, death threats, stalking, physical sexual & emotional abuse.
I have endured 3.5 years of court delays for him to only get 6 months 😭

This is exactly what I am going through. 3 years 8 months and 18 days since I filed the police report. Delay after delay. No justice. 😭 #DomesticViolence#SexualAssault#MeToo
I am one of the few sexual assault survivors who got justice in court. I documented my years-long journey to show how the legal system nearly broke me and why so many rapes go unreported
I-TEAM 8: Domestic violence victims are trying to take action to protect themselves from abuse, but find little relief from our justice system despite gun laws designed to protect. News 8's @StephanieWISHTV reports. https://t.co/2inWKlJPpH
"Only 3% of major felony cases actually make it to a jury in Marion County." Quote from @rtv6
Pathetic. The justice system here in Indiana is shameful and I cant believe that prosecutors get away with it not doing their jobs.

Teen dating violence has become a national epidemic, and as Breana Rouhselang's murder in December proved, Michiana is not immune.
@JoshuaShortWNDU talks with Breana's dad and stepmom, who want to make sure no family has to go through what they did.

@herworld5 Yes, my first police report was on July 24, 2015 when he attacked me during a custody exchange. There have been fifteen 90-day continuances accepted in the case. He is still out on bond.
When I first started posting my story here on Twitter, I thought it would inspire and help other survivors. Now, after so many delays in my case, I'm hesitant to share details because I don't want to discourage women from leaving. #DVIN#justice#DomesticViolence#DV
