Arsenal win one league title and reach a Champions League final and suddenly their fans think they're football royalty. ๐ญ
After years of coming up short, they've finally had a taste of success and don't know how to behave.
Arsenal are not even one of the two biggest clubs in their own country. There are clubs with more financial power, they didn't set any record, they aren't in Europe's biggest city. The biggest club itw isn;t decided in one season. Literally everything in this paragraph is false.
Arsenal are a big club, but theyโre nowhere near Unitedโs level. If United ever get back to winning consistently, youโll see the gap for yourself. I get the pain youโre feeling but enjoy your PL title itโs been long enough
Short-term memory is crazy. It was only a few years ago that the Emirates was half-empty for Europa League games. When a team starts winning or gets close to winning, the glory supporters always come out.
Meanwhile, United have been dreadful for years and still pull huge crowds.
The thing is, I always knew we were a bigger club than Liverpool. Nothing theyโve won has brought them anywhere close to us in terms of cultural impact and general motion.
But United I have typically conceded are the biggest club in the country. Not anymore. Them, among many other rivals, feel more passionately about Arsenalโs results than their own clubโs.
Thatโs a level of sheer size that United have never reached.
@linmeitalks What about the majority of Muslim girls who wear the hijab (by choice) and the scrutiny they face from society ? Do you support them ?
The reality for them which seems to be ignored/downplayed is they fear for their safety just because they wear the hijab.
