@mattschneidman Gute has not gotten nearly enough blame in this whole saga. This is just a delusional way to try and move a narrative from an arrogant man.
@MRE1821 @yadig53@danorlovsky7 That’s just not true. Caleb is very talented but making miracle throws after digging yourself holes/throwing picks isn’t more impressive than what Jayden has shown he’s capable of.
@JustusMcKing I agree there is a lot that MLF needs to improve on. But to play devils advocate we moved on from our once in a lifetime QB and haven’t missed the playoffs since. We know this team is capable of more, but he’s handled a tough transition with a young roster.
@MacrodosingPod Right now their record is above their talent and If they trot out the same team they will definitely regress next year, no doubt about it. That being said they could also have a great offseason and fix some issues. I’d put them right back around 9-10 wins.
@CourtneyRCronin@RobDemovsky Any of my fellow packers fans getting upset at this are soft. This is sports, true bad blood makes things fun. I think Ben Johnson losing his head screaming this is kind of loser-ish but it’s fun to have this be a 2-sided rivalry again and I have no problem with it.
@mirror_web3@Nickdabearfan Cheering for your top rival to win a super bowl? I can respect that the bears are finally out of the darkness and have revived the rivalry but I will never cheer for them.
@mirror_web3@TheCheeseKing__ There will be key injuries next year too, that’s just the NFL. Gute deserves more of the blame than MLF in my opinion. We had poor roster construction with not enough depth to overcome adversity.
@BWhite0331@tyschmit Agreed, but one could also argue that it’s his duty to hold his staff accountable. An extension needs to come with the clear expectations of stronger leadership and tough decisions. It will start with an easy one which is firing bisaccia.
