Honoured to contribute as a panelist at the British Council's dialogue on the #SchoolSafeguarding Framework for Punjab.
Policies matter, but implementation matters more. Safe schools require trained teachers, child-friendly reporting mechanisms, institutional accountability, and meaningful child participation.

💜 Let's Break the Stigma
This International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence in Conflict (19 June), we're separating myth from fact.
Sexual violence in conflict is one of the world's most underreported crimes — silenced by stigma, fear, and shame. Swipe through ➡️ to learn the truth:
❌ It only happens to women → ✅ It affects everyone
❌ Stay silent for honor → ✅ Shame belongs to the perpetrator
❌ Delay means it didn't happen → ✅ Fear and trauma cause delay
❌ It's unavoidable in war → ✅ It's a preventable war crime
❌ Survivors can just move on → ✅ The impact lasts generations
Stigma and silence only protect perpetrators. Let's choose truth, support, and justice.
