I have said this before:
Movie makers raised on modern movies are shit.
Same for all media
Pokemon started because the creator liked collecting bugs and exploring as a kid, not just playing other video games.
Inbred Media.
You can't make music out of all samples forever.
@Not_Merritz Okay it's just a guy with a square head it's not evil spongebob you're being facetiou- oh it's literally evil spongebob right fucking there
The bit of "complete ignoramus sees Popular Thing, proudly says that he can obviously do better and then with full confidence reveals a steaming pile of amateurishly cobbled together shit" never fails to be funny be it in games, cartoons, or something else
I don’t think encouraging someone to play a game is classist or ableist but I think using poor and disabled people as a shield to justify not playing videogames is
@willie_ole@GojiFan_78@hellspatisserie Yah most ppl will want an ideal version of depression: you being kinda down sometimes. They wont understand that most aren’t just a little sad but genuinely tired of living regardless of the circumstances, Its not always like that 4ever tho but its a reality of mental illness
At some point in mental illness you stop going “I’m so sorry it’s because of the depression/autism/adhd” and start going “I’m not well in the head. I do what I want. Stay out of my way” and this, ironically, will massively improve your day-to-day mental health
@besslilburne 🎯And the entirety of YouTube was sanitized FOR kids over the last few years. Speech is tightly controlled—creators are demonetized & punished for using words like “rape, abortion, hemorrhage, Covid, or murder.” Blood is censored. Everything is censored. What was the point?
Banning YouTube for teenagers is obviously nuts. Clearly no one is using TikTok for educational purposes but YouTube is for everything! Why the hell would you try to stop 14 year olds accessing guitar tutorials? History documentaries? News clips?
