As a mom, I cannot listen to Chloe Cole’s testimony without thinking about my own children.

What @ChloeCole lost can never be fully restored.

She trusted the adults around her. She trusted the experts. She trusted a system that told her these interventions would solve her pain.

Now she is living with permanent consequences from decisions made when she was a child.

No matter what side of this debate you’re on, Chloe’s voice matters.

Because every child deserves careful, honest, compassionate care.

And every parent deserves the full truth before life-altering decisions are made.

Young Adult LifeGroup -- What's The Deal With Speaking In Tongues?

As part of our series on "The Gift OF and Gifts FROM the Holy Spirit," the Young Adult LifeGroup I lead talked about talking in tongues last night.

To prepare, I pulled out a 2002 sermon called "What's The Bible REALLY SAY About Praying In Tongues."

Check out this photo of part of page 1 of that relic and note a) dot matrix printer (something both Phil Barks & Karen Lynch Bromby remember well and b) the NUMBER of the sermon: "gsmc107.doc" The NEXT one I prepare, for an August series called"Witness," will be "gsmc1140doc."

Gulp.

We had a lively, spirit-filled conversation with that group that is so close to my heart. So lively, in fact, part 2 will come next time we meet.

@cane60284651 @EduardoVarelaTV Ha! Only a little. I can acknowledge factually that the 14 will never be equaled. And I can admit @DjokerNole is GOAT. My bias seen in that I think Fed #2 because of winning those 6 Year End Championships while Nadal won zero. His results each autumn were eyebrow raising.
