Wayne Long still thinks Canada has the FASTEST growing economy in G7
Canada is literally in a recession.
This is like a captain bragging about the quality of the ship while it's taking on water.
Itâs clear that in BC, Kerry-Lynne Findlay isnât just running against the NDP â sheâs also up against the CBC
CBCâs coverage of her leadership win was telling. Ian Hanomansing opened with the framing of a âpolarizing voice.â On The National, Meera Bains as in their first story, repeated NDP attack lines while adding descriptors like ânarrow win,â âright-wing populist,â âalienating,â and âdivided caucus,â while repeatedly emphasizing âpolarizing.â
The segment turned to progressive activist academic Stewart Prest for expert commentary and featured critical remarks from independent Elenore Sturko who had strangely not backed a candidate
Notably absent was any mention that, even without a permanent leader, the BC Conservatives had been polling in a statistical dead heat with the NDP
This pattern is unfortunately predictable. Rather than balanced reporting, the CBC appears intent on amplifying divisions, narrowing acceptable viewpoints, and providing favourable spin for urban NDP priorities â even as the Eby governmentâs economic record draws serious criticism @brodiefenlon
A failed Banker
A failed Economist
A failed PM

The only G7 Country in a Recession, Canada
He is either incompetent or a Traitor to Canada, because he is not working for the betterment of Canada đšđŠ !
So let me get this straight đ”âđ«
Mark Carney was sold to us as the financial genius. The adult in the room. The Trump whisperer whoâd âget the deal done.â
He was going to handle Trump.
He was going to protect Canada.
He was going to build âCanada Strong.â
He was going to deliver a clean U.S. deal by July 2025.
And now?
Canada just entered a âtechnicalâ recession â aka the economy shrank for two straight quarters while the polite media clutches pearls.
The U.S. and Mexico are cutting trade deals without us.
We still donât have the âclean dealâ Carney swore heâd deliver.
He jets to New York and tells them âCanada Strong will help Make America Great Again.â
His own portfolio? 90%+ parked in the U.S. â while he lectures Canadians to âinvest in Canada.â
Even Steven Guilbeault bailed because Carney suddenly discovered oil, gas, pipelines, and basic economic reality exist.
Recap:
- Anti-Trump at home
- MAGA-adjacent in New York
- Climate warrior for the Liberals
- Oil salesman for Alberta
- âCanada Strongâ branding
- America-heavy investments
- Zero deal
- Recession
- Caucus cracking
But donât worry â the same media that spent years deep-throating the âeconomic superheroâ narrative is now here to explain this is just a silly little âtechnicalâ recession.
Canada didnât elect a Prime Minister.
We hired a very expensive PowerPoint presentation in a suit that flip flops as much as a fish đ out of water
And itâs not even a good one. đ„
đą Friendly Sunday public service announcement.
Just in case anyone was beginning to suspect the recession, rising unemployment, climbing bankruptcies, soaring food prices, growing debt, and endless ethical questions were somehow caused by your neighbour's gas mower, Alberta, Donald Trump, capitalism, the moon phase, or a particularly aggressive squirrel.
No.
The gentleman in the picture promised you all sunshine and lollipops.đđ
Then delivered storm clouds and excuses.âïž
đŁ He promised the strongest economy in the G7.
đšđŠ Canada is now the only G7 economy in recession.
đŁ He promised transparency.
đšđŠ Canadians got conflict questions.
đŁ He promised Canada first.
đœ Then flew to New York to explain how we'd help make America great again.
Anyway, enjoy the rest of your Sunday. The weather forecast calls for a 100% chance of Canadians being told none of this is happening while it continues happening.
