The mayor of Sar Aghpur village in Artsakh was able to rush all the children out during Azerbaijan’s shelling of the town. They all made it out alive, except one child who passed away — his own son. This is just one of the heartbreaking stories of this siege.

Yesterday, the Armenian community of Southern California marched from the Federal Building to the Azerbaijan consulate to bring awareness to the #ArtsakhBlockade as well as to denounce the US government’s funding of Azerbaijan’s war crimes.
For 47 days now, 120K people in #Artsakh/ #NagornoKarabakh — of which 30K are children — remain under a blockade by Azerbaijan. We need more international engagement and pressure to force Azerbaijan to put an end to this inhuman blockade and open the corridor.
This year we celebrate Christmas under a blockade. Nevertheless, the spirit of our people endured and nothing can break our will to live in our homeland.
