Founders love candidates who're honest and upfront - even if they don't join their startup.
Got this email from a brilliant candidate who had declined our offer from @vanshivtech in March. Nearly two months later, he sent this email transparently stating that the compensation difference was way too much for him
He got a remote job from a US company paying a handsome dollar rate and there's no way a small Indian consulting company like ours could match it.
I respect him even more for saying it openly. The Indian tech industry needs more people who communicate like this.
There’s still hope. 🙂
On a lighter note, inspired by the revolutionary Cockroach Janta Party, I've decided to form my own 'Salesforce Janta Party' 😇
Our founding principles
- AI for Janta, By Janta
- 360 Degree Janta View
- Reports Jo Bataye Sach
- Community Hamari Taqat
Our motto - 'Configuration Hamara Hathiyar, Customer Success Humara Lakshya'!
Want to join our mission? Drop a comment on this post with what you'd like to add to our motto and together - we'll make it happen! 😅

"Women don’t make good developers" - These words from my boss frustrated me and he openly ridiculed & mocked me over the years whenever I wanted to open up opportunities for the women on my team - participate in a hackathon or speak at a conference.
I promised myself that as a founder - I'll change this perception. Yesterday, an all-girls team from my little startup @vanshivtech in Jaipur finished in Top 3 at one of India’s biggest @salesforce hackathons - 'Agentforce World Tour' in Mumbai. 🚀
350+ teams.
12 finalists.
Only ONE all-girls team.
These girls from a Tier-2 city outperformed teams from much larger companies and India’s biggest tech hubs.
To our team - thank you for making me and all of us at Vanshiv proud.
And to every woman in tech who has ever been underestimated:
Keep building. Keep showing up. Keep competing. You got this!
And to my fellow founders - the problem is NOT lack of talent, it's the lack of opportunity - and we CAN change it.
Godspeed!
For more than 20 years, I worked in swanky corporate office building in Delhi, Bangalore & Hyderabad where seating bays, meeting rooms & spaces were named as 'Building 2 Floor 3 Bay 5', or something like 'B4L1-East'.
The more creative ones went copying the western world - naming meeting rooms as 'New York', 'London', 'Sydney'. Rarely did I ever come across any Indian names, let alone anything which would make us feel proud as Indians.
When I founded my startup in Jaipur 3 years ago, I wanted to pay a tribute to the heritage of our beautiful pink city. That’s why every floor, meeting room, and space at Vanshiv is named after places that define Jaipur’s heritage and soul.
- Birthday Celebration in Jaigarh, Come fast!
- Quick team huddle in Nahargarh in 5!
- Announcement at Hawa Mahal, gather quickly!
- Come for Puja at Govind Dev Ji!
- Snack time at Chopati! Disappearing fast!
These are actual day to day messages on our All Staff chat group at @vanshivtech and as a proud Jaipuri - it fills my heart with joy!
Jaipur is a city where history and ambition coexist beautifully. And as we build a global technology company working across AI, CRM, and Data, I wanted our workspace to always stay connected to the city that shaped us.
And if you’re ever visiting Jaipur, mhare office padharo sa!
We’d love to host you for some chai ☕, conversations around tech & AI, and of course - some authentic daal baati churma.
If only more Indian companies valued our culture, ethics, heritage rather than blindly copy the glitz and glamour of western world!

No mother deserves to die like this.
No child deserves to die like this.
Nobody deserves to die like this.
A child should not lose his mother like this.
A mother should never lose her child like this.
No life jacket. No adherence to rules. No consideration for human life.
This is so heartbreaking, one tragedy after the other - yet our 'Chalta hai' attitude as a nation isn't changing.
And wait till the boat owner gets away with a bribe of a few thousand rupees.
Our society WhatsApp group is an absolute joke - it's called 'Parivar' and here's what happens so frequently
- Someone passed away, they post about it - members post - a few "RIP" and "Om Shanti" messages follow
- Then, somone will post a forward joke video
- A flurry of useless Good Morning graphics follows
- And of course - Election posts - self-proclaimed political anlysts sharing their gyaan
- Until the Hindu Muslim posts take over
- Some lady will discover a Eureka moment with a new recipe and post it
- The orbituary message is lost among all the trash
The worst part - when I go for the cremation/ biathak of the person who's passed away, generally <5% of the group members actually show up.
We used to believe grief, when shared, became lighter.
Now, the messages are many.
The people are missing.
Alas!
Somebody, find this cop and give him a raise!
I've never seen even any two-wheeler stop at this traffic signal (Rajasthan University, JLN Marg Jaipur). He saw several vehicles pass him left and right - jumping the signal (you can see some of those in the pic) but he stayed put until the signal turned green.
While this may sound trivial, it’s a reminder that doing the right thing isn’t about others - it’s about who you choose to be.
Excited about what we’re building with @claudeai
We at @vanshivtech completed all requirements to become a partner ~1 month ago & a bunch of our folks including yours truly (founder & CEO) also did a bunch of courses to fulfil the pre-reqs.
We're looking forward to getting onboarded and taking this to market. @AnthropicAI - Let's please get this moving!

I collected my mother's CT Scan film from the diagnostic center at 9 pm in the night.
- The diagnostic center said Radiologist will come at 11 AM next day and will prepare the report based on it
- The ENT specialist said he'll only be available after 3 PM next day
- I got back home from diagnostic center and rather than spend an anxious night with uncertainty, I decided to use AI to do some analysis myself.
- I fed the CT scan film images to @GeminiApp asking for a diagnosis and also A) what the radiologist would recommend in his report & A) what the ENT would suggest for further treatment based on the report
- Gemini was ~99% accurate with the verbiage with the report that came out from the Radiologist next day
- Visited the ENT at 3 PM and no surprise - he suggested the likely course of treatment prescribed by Gemini the earlier night (with some minor deviations)
While we may be still some distance away from having AGI treat patients without a 'human in the loop', these kind of AI advancements are so reassuring that technology is meant to make human lives better.
Thanks @Google!
Life has a way of reminding you what actually matters.
Deadlines, deals, noise - all secondary.
Health and loved ones >> everything else
Grateful🙏
It's our BIG today with our BIGGEST launch ever!
Meet Agentia™ by @CopadoSolutions
The future of Salesforce delivery is here, and it’s governed.
AI is moving fast. From assistive to automated to autonomous.

My mother (81 years old) has been bed ridden for a week now due to a fall she had. She's not been able to move around & talk much due to the injuries she had.
Our maid who comes to my house every morning & evening to work for the last 15 years - sweetly said to her today morning - 'Mummy Ji, jaldi theek ho jao. Jab tak aap theek nahin hote, main ladoongi kisse?'
And after saying this, she herself started crying like a baby.
Some bonds are made of blood. Others are made of pure love.
If there's any job vacancy anywhere in the world, we Indians will find it and we'll make sure to comment 'Interested' on it - even if it's Iran looking to fill the role of new Supreme Leader🤣
AI may or may not take your job.
If this war goes beyond a few weeks, it definitely will take your and millions of other jobs.
An unprecedented global meltdown awaits this world!
It's high time that CBSE stops teaching about 'United Nations' to school students in India. It's an organisation which has no meaning, no powers and no spine.
The global ongoing turmoil is all the proof you need.
When our honourable PM @narendramodi launched the Swachh Bharat Mission @SwachhBharatGov , he would have not imagined how it will create a parallel economy of it's own.
A Swachh Bharat vehicle comes into our lane everyday, loaded with ragpickers on both sides who make sure to spill more garbage than what the vehicle collects, all so they can quickly filter out the garbage which they can sell, conveniently spilling the rest of it, often on the road!
A great example of wonderful service being done by @Swachh_Jaipur - the 'जमी-जमाई व्यवस्था'
- Ragpickers bribe the vehicle driver to allow them to ride the vehicle, filter the 'Raddi' they can sell and throw away the rest
- Vehicle driver bribes the babus at Nagar Nigam so they let him do this without any fear.
- Cycle repeats every single day!
AI will not take these jobs because AI isn't that corrupt yet!
God bless India.

@sanjaymanjrekar I thought your commentary is horrible and that's the reason you're so widely disliked, but clearly your sense of nationalism is worse.
ZIM have not defeated AUS. They've hammered them!
Australia could only get 2 two wickets while bowling and they were never in the chase after those early wickets. Zimbabwe were focused, disciplined, bowled well and fielded brilliantly.
We talk a lot about preparing for the conditions and peaking at the right time. Well done Zimbabwe!
