Frances Tiafoe after beating Taylor Fritz to win title in Halle:
"I just want to say one of my favorite scriptures, Romans 8:18. 'The pain that you've been feeling, can't compare to the joy that's coming.' That proves very very true. A few weeks ago had one of the toughest losses of my career at the French Open. To be able to come back and have a good week here and win my biggest title, beating players that I did. It's a huge testimony to that quote. It's something I've been living by... all glory to god." ❤
I tweet for me boo 😭 Twitter for the OGs was basically a diary. We wasn’t sitting around chasing engagement . You just had a thought, tweeted it, and kept scrolling. If somebody saw it, cool. If they didn’t, oh well 😂 Twitter originally wasn’t even about likes like that. It was just people broadcasting their random ass thoughts into the universe.
People do not believe you have ADHD or Autism if you are considered extremely attractive, well spoken, intellectual, and intelligent. It’s actually insane.
One of the best pieces of advice I ever got: If you want a calmer life, you need to address small problems while they’re still small. The cost of dealing with an issue rarely gets cheaper with time. Procrastination turns uncomfortable things into unavoidable things.
Life rarely changes in a positive way without an increase in responsibility.
That can mean taking ownership of your health or committing to a relationship or starting a business.
Whatever it is, if you want the trajectory to change, the amount of responsibility usually has to change.
