@category_lsf I think they are really thinking about producing music that they’ll love to perform. So upbeat but with enough genre diversity to keep things interesting. I think they are also fighting for their lives to make Hybe picked title tracks meaningful.
@kazumoyed A non-K-pop fan from the west would think this was a group and their background dancers. (That’s no shade to any of these groups. Groups this big just really aren’t seen.)
@deukwany I’m going to guess there are those who don’t like it but the majority of people realize negative personal opinions don’t need to be aired on the internet 🤷🏻♀️
@wisteriabloom94@evrzheart The other commonality is that both Katseye & Illit have friendships with Le Sserafim. Yunjin, Lara & Sophia being besties is common knowledge. And LSF loves to get together with Illit.
@_njzneverdiee@evrzheart Go to one of their premiere lives. There are a handful of people in chat telling them to disband and throwing insults. For Boompala I got there 1/2 an hour early & it was obvious they’d been spewing hate for awhile. They’re borderline stalkers.
@Nesbrl@baesweb Not to mention Yunjin has been the one the Katseye girls talked to regarding how to handle the hate. There is an absolute reason why Hybe chose to let these three groups do this song together.
@queerdomrv It was all of their picks for favorite song from the album to perform. I suspect it’s because they are more free to just have fun and hype people up.
@akgaepop Did they though? I think listening to this song is 10x better because I have the visuals in my head of who is singing, what their actions on the mv were, and the choreo. Not sure there would have been as much build up buzz if they’d released together.
@star_kku I suspect she might have also been one of the driving forces, along with Yunjin & maybe Chaewon, in making this happen. All 3 have that elder/leader energy
@SakiweLove I’m guessing it’s because they are doing lives for social media in the US where people are less likely to know about a member’s hiatus. Groups are less common here so having no one singing in parts would be perceived as strange.
